My masseuse didn't say a word. After the massage therapist left, this woman -- who had a terrible attitude -- continued her so-called "reflexology" the same way: one-handed, distracted, and clearly uninterested. I was told that because I was "5 minutes late," they would be deducting time from my treatment. Already off to a rocky start, I arrived and was brought to the treatment room where the therapist immediately peppered me with questions and asked what I wanted. When I told her, she responded with "you only have about 20 minutes." I checked my watch -- there was still a full 45 minutes remaining in my session. So where exactly did that time go? To make matters worse, when I finished and was sitting in the waiting area waiting for my Uber, another client walked in and apologized for being late. The receptionist's response? "Don't worry honey, we'll take care of you." No phone call. No time deducted. No problem. The double standard here is impossible to ignore. Arrive 4 minutes early? You're penalized and rushed through a session someone clearly couldn't time correctly. Arrive late as someone else? Warmly welcomed with zero consequences. I'm not sure if the issue is with timekeeping, mathematics, or just selective customer service -- but either way, it's completely unacceptable. Save your money and find a spa that treats all of its customers with the same courtesy and respect.
