The hygienist ( Jessica) made brushing your teeth a fun experience!! By the time Dr.Boiano came in the room, CJ voluntarily let him count his teeth!! Not only did he respond immediately, but he personally opened up his office on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend to see us. He spent over an hour with us, treating my son with such incredible care, skill, and warmth. He followed up multiple times afterward to check on him, something I've never experienced from any doctor. I have had a couple of complaints including that the place has a bit of an assembly belt feel, and they were quick to refer my younger child out to Montefiore when he didn't cooperate after spending almost no time with him; Montefiore got him to cooperate without too much effort. But this practice was still working for my older child. A few weeks ago when I called to make an appointment there was a block on my account due to charges. The attendant could not make a visit until I called a second number to pay some charge. I've always paid our copays & deductible same day and I have not received a bill from the office. I imagine that they added some $20 charge my insurance wouldn't cover following our last visit and that this fee on my account was the cause. I made an app't with a family dentist in Riverdale; I don't have time for this %^$( and my kid needs to see a dentist. Advice to Pediatric Dentistry of the Bronx, get it together and eliminate unnecessary barriers so that kids can get their care.

They are remarkably adept at dealing with difficult kid patients and are an awesome team. We have been taking our soon to be 3 year old and 8 year old here for 2 years and we will continue to use their services as they are so thorough and super friendly.
