They understand that when someone is calling for medical equipment, there is usually a loved one who is ill and a family going through a difficult time. **BUYER BEWARE!** The Sunglass Hut at the Thousand Oaks…read moreMall does not honor its 30-day refund guarantee policy. On September 2nd, I purchased a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Just two hours later, I returned to the store to exchange them for a more suitable pair. After wearing the second pair for two weeks, I realized I needed prescription sunglasses. On September 16th, I returned to the store and spoke with an employee named Armando. He informed me that because I had already exchanged the first pair, I was not eligible for a refund, only store credit. This directly contradicted what was stated on my receipt, which clearly outlined a 30-day refund policy. When it became clear that Armando wasn't willing to help, I asked to speak to the manager, Eric, and was told he would be in the store on September 17th. I arrived at the store at 10 AM on the 17th, only to be told that Eric wouldn't be in until 11 AM. I waited an hour, returned at 11 AM, and stayed until 11:30, but Eric still hadn't shown up. After wasting over an hour and a half of my time, I left frustrated and disappointed. I won't be shopping at Sunglass Hut again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this location. There are plenty of reputable sunglasses retailers in Southern California, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. While I can afford to keep these sunglasses or even gift them to someone, it was the blatant disregard for their own return policy and Armando's unprofessional behavior that ruined my shopping experience at Sunglass Hut.
