Yesterday I came to the store and purchased a shirt because it reminded me of my of my son who passed away a month and a half ago. I've been very emotional and it's been very difficult to go out in public. Today, I went back to buy one more just so that I would have two of them. This Lucky Brand location is sufficient for it's size. Located on the second level in the center of The Oaks Mall, LBJ is a nice little men's and women's high quality, Made in America clothing store. While their front of the store items are generally way out of my price range, the back sale is often reasonable and they run more sales than not. The staff working are not the most friendly and outgoing souls in the world but they are helpful when need be the case. Their system seems to always be up and running to full speed and the lines are never more than a person or two long. As far as stock goes, they have the general supply of goods you'd find online but a lot of in stores deals you can't find on the internet. They're jewelry tends to be discounted quite often and there's always a sale rack of jeans on the back wall. I would recommend the Camarillo Outlets store if you're looking for more discounts and variety, though. Parking here is pretty easy to find. The lot is huge and surrounds the entire mall. Park near the Cheesecake Factory and Stacked for easiest entry upon arrival. read more

I was not looking forward to black Friday shopping but I really needed some new clothes so I decided to brave the Oaks mall to look for some deals. While I did find some great stuff at a few stores I was pleasantly surprised to see the Lucky store having a 30% off sale. Well I told my self "Do I feel lucky today punk? Well, do I?" I answered with a emphatic "Yes!" (especially for 30% off) Not only did I get a great pair of quality jeans for a fabulous deal, the employees working were cheerful and very helpful especially for being that it was black Friday. The young lady was helpful in finding the correct size and cut I was looking for and made some helpful suggestions as well. The store was well stock and organized which made my shopping experience even better. Lucky jeans might not be the cheapest brand out there but for the money they could be the best value. The good quality, great selection, combined with excellent customer service justifies the price of their products. Even if the jeans aren't on sale I still believe they are worth every penny. read more

Had a fantastic experience with Manager, Theresa H., at Lucky Brand, The Oaks Mall, today. I went in to replace a pair of jeans I'd purchased quite a while ago. Theresa tirelessly searched both the computer, and the store, to find the exact pair. But even more importantly, she is authentically sweet and kind and really understands customer service, sadly an afterthought these days. By the time I left the store, I felt like we were friends. :) Theresa told me she is transferring to the Sherman Oaks location. Our loss is their gain! I have shopped at Lucky Brand for years and love their clothing. I even opened a Charge account. I shopped, I charged, I paid the bill. Last week I went to the Thousand Oaks location and selected $300.00 of merchandise. I whipped out my charge card( which had a 0 balance on it) and was promptly declined. The sales girl told me so loud enough for the people behind me to hear which was very embarrassing as I always pay my bills. She suggested I use another card with no concern why I was declined. I used my ATM card and left. 15 minutes later I got an automated call from fraud prevention saying there was suspicious activity on my card. I called and spoke to a very unconcerned representative. She told me to go ahead and use the card. Of course I was already gone and told he I was unhappy and to close my account. She said ok and closed it with absolutely no concern what so ever for a paying customer. Lucky brand has lost my business and I'll tell anyone who will listen how badly I was treated. Absolutely no concern from the salesperson or the bank representative. No wonder people are shopping on line now. I will as well. And do you think anyone cares about this review? Nope. Let's talk about Olivia E. What an AWESOME experience. Personalized help by approaching ME. Selected different styles of jeans for me to try on. Discovered I was a sweet and straight customer. Then she help me find my size even in the clearance. As if this wasn't enough she found a better deal for me online with more choices. Did I mention she added the coupon code for me without even asking exclamation?! Then I find out this is Olivia's last day she's relocating to Seattle Dash say it isn't so! I have never seen such professionalism come from someone who is working their last day!!She hopes to transfer to one of your stores in Seattle... Walked in on Friday night, less than an hour before closing. They were having a sale, add'tl 50% on select clearance items. I was too tired to shop but wanted to scout the deals and return the next day, if it was worth it. Michele greeted me and I explained to her my plan. She pointed me to where the sales items were located and other things of interest. It was such a pleasant experience. I commended her for her great customer service skills and wonderful personality. I returned the next morning, hoping to see Michele again. She was off, but the morning crew was just as wonderful as the night's before. I brought a couple of friends with me so they can also benefit from the sale. They walked away feeling just as happy with their experience and purchases. read more

The staff was cold and uncooperative when I returned a pair of pants that I had recently bought on line. I thought I would never have my return completed! The staff continued to try to sell me pants that were obviously too short for me. Haven't bought very much at all on line from them since. I'm altogether turned off from their store. read more

This was my first time shopping at this store and my husband and I got a night out from our kids for the first time in a year. We decided to go shopping. I hadn't bought new clothes in awhile so we went here and a girl helped us out and was so nice, attentive and helpful. We ended up at the register and I asked if my jeans were 40% off and BOGO 50% off as those were the deals she had going on. We spent $400. I was wowed with the price but I didn't question it because I knew they were expensive clothes. I got home and read the receipt and realized I only got BOGO 50% off and didn't get 40% off like I was told I would get. I called the store the next day and spoke to a girl saying I could bring it back and they would see what they could do. I asked to know what they could do because I have 4 kids, don't know when I can get there and don't want to drive 40 minutes to the store to be disappointed. She said she would have her manager call me back and took my number. No one called me back. I called again and spoke to the manager who came across like she didn't care and that I could take the clothes back if I wanted. I was left pretty disappointed with the managers customer service and the overall communication with people. I hate being told something so I spend money and then It turns into it being MY fault because their staff is giving out wrong information. I'll stick to the outlets in Camarillo from now on. read more

All beware of this lucky brand. I try to return two items received as gifts this year for Christmas. The manager at first told me that she would return one of my items but not the other the one. But then when we started talking she changed her mind and proceeded to tell me that she couldn't take it back and that it's because she has this new manager that will not except returns (mostly over all said by the employee/manager them self assuming this is an assistant manager)and would have done so in the past, this bothered me and I feel it was unprofessional to go back on what she had said. The one other thing in the conversation that really bothered me is that when I had mentioned that the jeans I wanted to return were expensive at one point later in the conversation and she later turned around and she was like "but you said these weren't expensive". This really bothered me because they were not cheap jeans especially to just have when they do not fit and have not been worn. This had me upset and not want to shop at lucky brand and will make sure I share that opinion with my family and friends. I normally don't like making complaints like this it makes me feel bad but I feel like I've been taken advantage of and have worked in retail and know in the circumstance most retailers would have returned the items for a gift card I was not asking for cash I wanted a gift card. read more

Lucky Brand is A WONDERFUL store! I been so pleased with the customer service I have gotten there; What amazing people! Honestly, they made me WANT to be interested in the store! One of the sales associates (Eric) was so kind, polite, and helpful. The manager (i think her name was gi gi?) made my experience so much fun!!! I want to go back just to talk with the people there!
