Drinks included an orange blossom martini, aperol spritz and house wine. Our friend is a vegan who frequents the restaurant often. He got sautéd spinach w/ marinara and potatoes. I got the sole franchise. The sauce was a little on the thin side, but very tasty and huge portions. I will have one for lunch tomorrow. Hubby ordered sole oregonata. Seeing as how he didn't offer any or leave any behind, it was delicious. All dinners came with salads and we got the potatoes and sautéed yellow squash. We sat for a while and I ended up with the coconut cake because it looked yummy (it was) and our friend for an espresso and raspberry sorbet. This hidden gem had been around for a long time with good reason. Stop in and find out for yourself. Also, on Wednesday's they offer 20% off if you pay cash (do make a reservation-it gets packed!) Service as always was very professional. They leave you to enjoy your meal and show up with awesome food and drinks.

I had the ravioli special, my don the sausage and pepper pizziola and my wife the eggplant. Portions were large and well made. For dessert my son hs the lava cake and I had the carrot cake WHICH WAS OUTSTANDING! One of the best I've ever eaten, both homemade. Service was friendly and efficient. Walking into this place is like going back in time to the 80's. The whole place could use a face lift but that is what makes it endearing. The bar dining area is very cozy, perfect for couples. The main dining room is large and can handle large parties. I only have two negative observations, first they are an Italian restaurant but don't serve cappuccino, second their wine selection is limited and frankly not very impressive. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the region looking for some very good Italian food.

The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I had one of their specials--a breaded chicken dish topped with prosciutto, spinach, and cheese--and it was incredible! Every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the paella with chorizo and chicken, which was equally delicious and full of wonderful flavors. The portions were also very plentiful, making the meal an excellent value and leaving us with plenty to enjoy. The service was excellent as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal. We also really enjoyed sitting outside--it created such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, 4 Seasons Mediterranean Restaurant is a wonderful place for a great meal, excellent service, generous portions, and a beautiful outdoor dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Appetizers were so good, the meatballs in lobster sauce are the best ever. So soft so delicious! I had the 7 fishes dish omg so big so good. I loved it so much. Hubby had his favorite shrimp and scallops in a lobster sauce over spaghetti. It's so good he won't even try anything else. Desert was also so good. If you get a chance to try the blueberry cake please do so. It's the best ever. 4 Seasons never disappoints! Merry Christmas and see you again very soon.

We thought without a reservation at 7p on a Friday we would probably have to wait awhile, when we arrived the parking lots (front and rear) were nearly full so we expected a wait. We were pleasantly surprised how many tables were still open both inside and on the patio. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the sides were just as good! Pricing was very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. We will definitely be returning.

My dining partner was happy with her calamari, that came in a plentiful portion. Service was fast on the beginning but we had to find the waiter to get our check. Asked in the beginning to split the bill, but waiter forgot ( I think out original waiter off shift) and we had to request it again. The slower service towards the end of the meal may be attributed to it being the middle of the afternoon, between shifts, and a slower period. My dining partner loves this place and had great things to say about the owner, and the support he provided front line workers during the pandemic. Ambiance is casual, with an extensive bar and seating. More parking in the back down the hill, in back of the restaurant.

We ordered mussels and bruschetta as appetizers. They were so good. The portions were very generous. Then for entrees, the 4 of us ordered Sea Bass, linguini with white clam sauce, penne vodka, and chicken marsala. My husband said the sea bass was one of the best he had ever eaten. My linguini was good but a little bit too salty for my taste. My friends' dishes were all very good. Ordered bread pudding and pistachio ice cream as dessert. Also excellent. The manager tried not to chase us out, but we could feel the pressure. Luckily we were understanding. Ended up we talked a little bit more in the parking lot... Overall an excellent meal. We will be back again.

The burrata was over heated so a bit too melted with broccoli that was a little too heavy on the garlic. The pasta itself tasted fresh but the sauce lacked flavor. The most disappointing was likely the service as our dinner took about 3 hrs and mostly because we'd be waiting for someone to come by to take our order for our meal and then for dessert. It was also hard to get water refilled to the point that I ended up just handing my glass of water to my friend. The final kicker was when we finally ordered dessert the waiter came back a few moments later with the check forgetting about the dessert. Our waiter was friendly but wondering if the place was heavily understaffed. Overall the vibe is very family friendly Italian food. While Im not sure Id come here again for a sit-down dinner, Id be interested in trying a pizza to go.

The name "Rockaway" is derived from a Native American term having various meanings; "place of sands", "creek between two hills", and "difficult to cross". Morris County has 16 Boroughs located within it and you'll find none better and more interesting than the Borough of Rockaway which also just happens to be located 25 miles West of N.Y.C. The Rockaway River runs through the center of Town and has been a historical trout fishing destination for just about every angler with a rod & reel in Northern New Jersey. Department of Fish and Game regularly stock this River with trout as well as The local P.B.A. & businesses which sponsor an annual Fishing Tournament. Winners that catch large trout with removable tags on them receive cash, prizes and local notoriety. Several abandoned mines are located here from years back when iron ore was a major export and there are some folks that have gone spelunking in search of some adventurous opportunities. However, Do Not Call Me to come and retrieve you out of any of these as I've since retired from my spelunking expeditions a long time ago. As my Friend and Yelp Colleague "Jersey N" has already pointed out, the Borough is Full of Amazing local Mom and Pop businesses that help define this Town to be a quaint place that is second to none for dining, shopping, adventuring, and living in.
