From the moment we arrived, it genuinely felt like everyone on staff was excited to be celebrating our son. That kind of energy doesn't happen by accident--and it's a direct reflection of Genessa, the manager. Her attention to detail, calm leadership, and the way she supports and leads her team is truly impressive. You can feel it in every interaction. The staff was organized, warm, attentive, and so clearly happy to be there. The facility itself is spotless, well-run, and perfect for kids. And can we talk about the food? It's actually good--which is rare for kids' party venues. On top of that, the fact that they allow outside cold platters with no additional charge is an absolute game changer for parents planning a party. Everything felt easy, joyful, and stress-free--which is exactly what you hope for when hosting a child's birthday. We left saying the same thing we did last year: why would we go anywhere else? I sincerely hope my kids never grow out of Safari Run, because we would happily keep hosting parties here for years to come. Huge thank you to Genessa and the entire team for another unforgettable celebration!

With it being ski week and its been pouring rain i need to find activities for my 5 year old twins…read moreto do. So today it was safari run. I am not a huge fan of indoor playgrounds because they are usually dirty and parents dont watch their kids. This place is not like that at all. First its spotless, they even make the kids wash their hands when they enter! The area where the parents sit to watch is directly in front of the play structure so you can have eyes on the kids all the time. Of course when you arrive for the first time you have to fill out a waiver. Which is understandable, what makes this place different is instead of my twins standing there while I fill out the waiver amd try to keep them under control, one of the amazing staff members asked if it would be ok for the kids to go in. FANTASTIC! Obviously this wouldnt work with smaller children but my twins were able to go in, take off their shoes, wash their hands and start playing before I even paid. This is such a blessing. After I paid and they explained the rules about food and water and where to eat AND then another staff member showed me where my kids shoes were and where I could be watching them. The staff is so incredibly nice and the place is super clean. I was so impressed. My boys played for over two hours and even made a friend. We will definitely be back !!!

I…read morethink the GPS led us to the residential area parking and there's no parking there for the public so my boyfriend left me there and I thought he meant that I should just go there myself and there is NO signal here so I had no idea where he was at for over an hour and he was so close to calling the city to report a lost child lol. We went in the mid morning and it's a fairly bright, well lit path there that's not too far or difficult and there were lots of other hikers and travelers so at no point did I feel like something bad was going to happen. The farm is also true to its name because I did get to see a momma deer and her baby right at the entrance of the farm near the barn picnic table area. Neat! It's a great place to see animals too since aside from the deer and farm animals I saw a quail and its chicks, as well as lots of ground squirrels. The chicken are in a coop and pen but some hop out and walk around the farm. Love to see the pigs, sheep, goats, cow, bunnies, ducks and geese too. Would love to one day see the farm cats. There's lots of informative signs and flyers throughout the farm of all reading levels and how much information are on them, and there's small interactive parts too and you learn about the work that goes into working on a farm and what these animals provide for people. The docents and volunteers are also very helpful and are happy to answer questions. Lots of benches and seats in the shade too so you can sit back and take in the scenery and the animals hanging out. You can see the little gardens that they have there and I guess on some days some of the other buildings are open too. I don't mind coming back, but this time, I won't make that same entrance mistake again.

Such a cute little place Especially if you have little ones! Fair warning, it is a little of a walk…read morefrom the parking lot (if you can get parking). The walk is about 20-25 minutes but it's worth it! The farm is FREE of charge, & they have quite a few variety of animals & sights to see. They close at 4PM, so make sure you go fairly earlier. We got there around 2 on Saturday & still found parking to walk over there. They are also always looking for volunteers so if you know anybody, send em there!

***3.5 stars overall***…read more I took a friend to Color Me Mine for their birthday. This location was convenient but it was really small. I am glad I made a table reservation. (You put a $10 deposit on the table that ends up going towards your final bill.) Because of the long rectangular shape of the store, the staff sit in the middle of the store, so no one greets you when you walk in. Thus, we were a little confused when we entered -- not knowing if we look for our table first or look for a ceramic piece first? Or do we check in somewhere? A greeting from the staff would have solved this. Without leaving their counter, someone briefly and hurriedly explained the process and locations of everything, and left us to begin. Even though I had done this before, it was my first time at this store and it was my friend's first painting pottery ever, and we were both lost, even after her mini tutorial. (I have been to pottery painting places where they walk you to the paint area to get you started, as an example of comparison.) Thankfully I remembered things from previous experiences that the painted ceramic tiles by the paint bottles with 3 squares symbolize what the different layers would look like after firing. (This is critical knowledge that the staff should point out to each group, so we'd understand how each layer of paint looks when dried/fired because sometimes we may want to paint 3 layers of paint, but not always. It was crucial to understand how to reference these tiles!) The paints and brushes were in one corner; the sink and paper towels were around the corner in the back of the store; and there was one main shelf of unpainted pottery choices (with a range of prices, but after adding in your $10 a person sitting fee, the final cost adds up, so be sure you like the piece you choose!) We chose to paint one large piece together rather than 2 smaller pieces. To make the look more cohesive, we chose colors within a certain range (lavenders and yellows/orange), and then we didn't look at the each other's side! It was very fun. **Some Things To Note** - Your table reservation gives you 2 hours. (We finished in that time but we also didn't do a lot of detailed work. I actually think most people would need more time than that if you choose a large ceramic or are painting details.) - The tables are pretty close together, so you don't get much privacy. We all heard each other's conversations. It was also very narrow to walk between the tables when people were painting, so it may not be a place to bring active kids who can't sit still for long periods of time. - It looks like they allow outdoor food because many were bringing their own snacks. I brought in an outside drink, which I'm glad I did because it was warm and you sit there for hours. - They do have a bathroom, if anyone is wondering. - It may take a week for them to get to your ceramic piece, glaze and fire it, but we got a text that it was ready around 4 days after painting it. It is a fun experience to paint pottery, as long as you can afford it and feel comfortable approaching the counter to ask your questions because the staff doesn't seem like they go out of their way to offer help unfortunately.

Minus one star because the staff was cleaning up constantly. Within an hour of the party, they had erased the "happy birthday" message with the host's name from the blackboard. I understand wanting to keep things organized, but this felt a little unnecessary (10 seconds of erasing at such an early point in the party...surely this could have been done at the end). Also, there is a parking lot behind the building (so you don't have to park on the street).

They offer so much flexibility - you can order food through them or bring up-to 3 of your own platters (21x13 size) too for no charge. This includes cutlery, water, juice as well. Every additional kid is $18. The place is safe for kids aged 0-5 and gives them space to run and enjoy while the parents can relax and sit and eat. I never in a million years thought I would be writing a five star review for a Chuck E. Cheese. But…read morehere here we are. To be honest, I hadn't been to a Chuck E. Cheese in over 20 years. Probably closer to 30. Has it changed? Kind of. Is it better? Much. The concept is simple. Offer pizza and all kinds of arcade games in a safe and clean atmosphere. Mission accomplished. Apparently there are memberships available, and if you get one, you get a monthly allotment of game credits. Kids get a card that they swipe on each machine. Super handy! First, let me say that the pizza was actually pretty good! I know people probably don't come here for the pizza. But it was actually better than the last couple of pies I've had in my hometown. I didn't try the salad bar, but it looked good and the food on it looked fresh. There were so many things for kids to do. Many were active things and others were more arcade style games. About halfway through our stay, the rat came through in costume and scooped up a bunch of kids and brought them to the dance floor. That was adorable. There was someone cleaning the machines constantly. Everything was very, very clean. This is important because kids are always sick--they don't wash their hands as much as they should and they love to touch their faces. And there were so many kids. The tables were clean. The chairs were clean. The floor was clean. And if you've read my reviews, it's something I look for everywhere I go. Finally, I want to mention security. If you come in with a child, you have to leave with the same child. They have a system in place checking people in and out. Is it perfect? Probably not. But it's not going to be simple for someone to walk out with someone else else's child, or for a child to walk out on their own. Now, would I let my child roam free while I hole up with YouTube videos in a corner somewhere? Nope. No way. I would keep an eye on my kid. But if you have more than one, it's a busy place to keep track of them. It's nice to know that this extra layer of security is there. I was not looking forward to going, to be perfectly honest, but I had a blast. And so did the kids! And here I am leaving a five star review for Chuck E. Cheese!
