    Guinness on draft

Large bowling venue with arcade games, pool tables, ping pong tables, indoor bocce, and plenty more. Lots of corporate groups come here, which I understand can overwhelm the staff. Food is just meh - nachos, fries, chicken tenders, wings, pizza, all the unhealthy stuff but good finger foods for a crowd. Several beers on tap, lower grade wine, but otherwise a full bar. Staff was clearly not having it tonight - messy with the draft pours (mostly foam), and took all of our barely touched beers and dishes away before we could even finish them. I was playing pool and had my beer at the side table for a split minute before noticing staff coming around and putting everything in the trash. I understand they're trying to keep the place clean and were cleaning up trash, but when people are around a barely touched beer - you should probably ask. Limited selection in the area, so there's that.

Here on a Friday night which would obviously be busier, but there are 8 groups waiting over an hour to bowl and 10+ lanes that haven't been in use this whole time. We left after waiting 85 minutes with barely any movement on the list. Ridiculous. It's also not clearly marked when you walk in that the line at the check in desk means nothing and you need to scan the QR code for the waitlist so we waited in line for 10 mins before even getting the memo to put our group on the list. Staff is nice enough, but why aren't people able to bowl when there are plenty of open lanes and a long waitlist? Is it to make people wait around and spend extra money at the bar and arcade? Lame. Won't be coming back. Mozzarella bites were pretty good though.

Came here with three other friends on a Saturday night for some bowling and maybe pool. Front desk was nice and told us how it works, putting a card on tab and playing until you feel like calling it a day. The bowling alleys were pretty nice with couches and a table, but I have to say that it was pretty cramped. The main reason why my rating was on the lower side for this was because the pricing was so expensive. My friends and I played 2 games and costed us $140 which was $13 per game per person. The pool tables costed more so after we saw the price we just left. Vibe is decent and good for bowling parties but it's out of my budget!

Dec 12th holiday party at 1130 am for 2 hours The good: checkin was quick, we were a private office party and were taken to lanes 28 & 29 to one end of all the lanes by Justin There were plenty of bowling balls and the lanes were clean - we got a solid 2 hours to finish 2 games For our party of 16 we got 4 large pizzas, some apps & 1 tower of beer + a jug The bad: unfortunately the 2 lanes to the left of us was also a big party Our server (Pamela) was alert, attentive at the beginning while taking our first order, unfortunately for her she seemed to have no help dealing with 2 large parties for follow up orders, our apps arrived after the first round of pizzas and the second order did not arrive until we had 15 mins to leave :( Pamela was very apologetic and I just wished she had more help The party overall was fun !, the food was decent My suggestion to management is to have 1 more server to take food orders when there are 2 large groups next to each other

We were here for a birthday party last weekend and was a lot of fun for the kiddos. I highly recommend this place for its large size which can accommodate quite a large gathering. All the kids were in high spirits and thoroughly enjoyed bowling and munching at the same time. Service at the front desk was a little slow. It took longer than expected to get our shoes even though it wasn't super busy. Also, the food was pretty average your typical frozen pizza and slightly overcooked fries. But overall a great place for some bowling and arcade fun.

Bowling with bumpers and ramps! Hee

This was my first time at Bowmar lanes in Cupertino since the pandemic! Apparently the majority of the mall is gone actually all of it! But the bowling alley and Benihana's are still around! Lol they have a number of bumper bowling alleys and it's all set up via touchscreen, which was honestly rather confusing since there was nobody to walk me through The set up process. I am not too text savvy and a couple of the children bowling we're not able to get bumpers. Oops! I did, however, find a number of the bowling ramps set up so the younger children in my group did not have to attempt to pick up the minimum 8 pound bowling ball, nevertheless, there were a number of arcade games as well as ticket or prize-winning things that preoccupied the group. The only other thing I would think that is awkward was a number of the posters or advertisements on the way to the bathroom showed perhaps young adults playing in bikinis and board shorts. My kindergartners on the group asked me "why are those people naked?" Ughhhh awkward conversation to have with a five-year-old, but that was their perspective for their five years on this earth. The bathrooms are pretty far away and it's a wrap around through the arcade as well as beanbag toss, and I want to say pool tables or something else. Regardless of the posters, it seemed more appropriate for middle schoolers and teenagers as well as young adults. We all enjoyed our time, and they have a great root beer float!! Lol another plus is you do not have to rent bowling shoes and you get to wear your own tennis shoes!! I guess there's a couple of great things that came out of Covid?! Lol.

We came bowling for a company event on a weekday and it was nice because it wasn't crowded. It was closed from the general public and was only open for reservations during those hoThe food was decent and the strawberry lemonade was delicious. It was a great event, but it was overly hot. The thermostat showed 80 degrees and everyone was sweating. This was the biggest deterrent for wanting to return to this location in the future. The parking garage is easy to get to and is big enough where you don't have to worry about getting a spot.

These hotels were perfect for busy business travelers like me. 20 years ago Aloft was a new concept brand under the Starwood family of hotels in their REIT portfolio, before Marriott acquired almost all of that portfolio of brands a few years ago. They were actually designed to be the essentials of what most solo business travelers needed, while reducing staff needs in restaurant operations. Add a little pizzazz with neon lighting on the side of the building or in the lounge, and modern design, many with mini-suite or Euro design concepts, and this started a whole new hotel trend different than the previous decades with Courtyard by Marriott concepts, or traditional (and expensive) full service Hiltons and Marriotts. This location is in the heart of Silicon Valley, amidst many Apple offices in Cupertino, and close to Sunnyvale, San Jose, Mountain View and other Tech suburbs. It seemingly was refurbished or updated a bit from its inception perhaps 15-20years ago. It has underground parking, and 3 EV chargers there, with overnight charging on the house! So I was doing some business in the south bay at Westfield Valley Fair Mall, up the peninsula in Belmont, and east on 237 in Milpitas during my stay. What was great is that I came back each night here, got my Tesla into an overnight EV parking space, and charged up my car overnight for free! I charge up overnight at home, too, but it isn't free. So this was a comfortable and efficient hotel for my purposes, and because it was off season, it was about $150/night. Not bad for Silicon Valley. Almost cheaper than many Apple accessories, and definitely cheaper than most Apple repairs, lol.

The floor had dirt on it and a dead bug. I was concerned about bed bugs and chose to limit my contact with the bed, other than to sleep. The sheets appeared clean, but little things were missed: dust, dirt, fingerprints, watermarks. For the cost of the room and the reviews, I expected much more. I did not use the pool, nor the hot tub. No gym on premises. The continental breakfast was tasty, but no one was checking to see if anything needed refilling. By the time I came down for breakfast, there was only about 1/2 scoop of scrambled eggs. At least 5 guests arrived after me and did not have any eggs. Someone complained to the person working the lobby and food was finally replenished and tables were finally cleaned. I felt this needed more supervision. The hotel is closely located near a grocery store, several restaurants within driving distance, and a highway. Overall, this hotel isn't worth the money they are charging.
