Two people came in and got helped for something different (understandable) but 40 minutes passed not one person had helped me, suddenly a man comes in and they take his statement immediately and once he was done they finally have the courtesy to tell me someone will be out. After OVER an hour later still no help. Genuinely felt so disrespected because I can hear them all behind that room laughing and answering calls but no one could come out and tell me to come back or that it would be a while. I genuinely felt like they purposely didn't help me so that I would just leave. They made me feel like they invalidated my words because it wasn't "severe" to them. The man basically had the same kind of report to file too which made no sense as to why no one even bothered to speak to me. This made me feel so disrespected as I was in a vulnerable and emotional state and worked up the courage to even go in and report because ofc we all know the police never do anything but hey i decided to give them a break. I was sadly mistaken to even go here. This was so incredibly infuriating and disappointing. I called 911 on this day to report a hit & run that occurred to my loved ones & I. We followed the vehicle and the 911 dispatcher told us not to follow, and let us know an officer was going to be sent to our location. The officer arrived and he got the information needed & we sent him the pictures of the car that committed the hit and run on us. My husband (slightly intoxicated), sister in law, & I were on our way to dinner before the hit & run & I offered to drive since I was sober. The officer never once followed up with me if he needed any more information, we still don't know what happened to the hit & run driver. Now on 10/20/2023 I received a citation, court summons, and proof of service via mail. Officer Jorge Lopez Badge #23193 committed perjury by signing a form stating that reads "On 5/28/2023, I served this notice of correction" on the proof of service form that he signed. I did not receive a citation or notice on 5/28/2023. I called you guys for HELP!

Meanwhile we can hear the conversations and laughter of employees in the room next to the lobby (where the dispatchers are at). That was a bit disappointing since we just needed that release paperwork to get my car. Finally someone came out and asked if we'd been helped. Um no we haven't. So I provided the police report and my DL. 10 minutes later I was handed a paper that literally had my name written on and my DL # and license plate. That's it. That's pretty much the release form lol oh and the signature of the person that handed me the form. We were finally out of there.
