Barstow Collision called me early this morning twice with no messages. Then yelled when I called them back. I have never been treated so horribly by a company in my life. They were supposed to put on my snow tires and I agreed to a time. Then collision called me back furious. Telling me they do not have a tire-changing machine in their shop. I could go I went 4 weeks without my car. Funny how they got to it at the end of my rental agreement? lol. on They blamed me and my claims examiner for them having car in lot for weeks unlocked. On 2/7/23 I left my truck at Regan's to have a O2 sensor put in and have the lower radiator hose…read moreclamps checked because there was some anti-freeze leaking from that area on 2/4/23 when it was -25 degrees in the morning when I started it. The day I dropped the truck off, the service writer Austin called me around 9:30 and told me the truck was done. One of the hose clamps was changed last year so I asked him if they had to change the old rusted clamp and he told me yes. After I picked the truck up and got it home I checked to see what they put on for a clamp and the old one was still on the radiator hose. They didn't change either radiator hose clamp but they charged me for doing it. Today was the first day I was able to get to Regan's before they closed and I talked to Austin about It and he wouldn't do anything about it. He just told me they wouldn't charge me for something they didn't do but the same clamps were on the hoses that were on them when I dropped the truck off. When I picked the vehicle up the next day Mike explained every little detail on the paperwork before signing. I called them two hours later but it was not ready. They had my phone number to call me when it was finished but several hours later I still got no call. So I called them again and the car was still not ready. I called them again around 4 PM and was informed that the car needed a ball joint and they were installing it WITHOUT calling me and getting my approval WHICH IS ILLEGAL. They 'hoped' they could get it done by closing time. It took them ALL DAY for a simple job and the bill was more than twice what I was quoted. They had no reason not to call me and let me know what was going on. Needless to say I was furious. Buyer beware at this garage!
