Peanut Butter Brown is delicious! Great place to hang out. Like a modern day "Cheers".

They always have a nice selection of beers. Very unique and quite tasty. Service is always excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

This is normally my go to brewery in Parker. I understand they recently changed ownership and are soon to be called Downslope? Some of the beers are the same but I like that they seek to be adding new ones. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I don't see many updates on twitter and that's what I prefer to use for beer/food truck events. read more

I ordinarily like the beers here, but I stopped here last night and the beer was not good at all. The IPA, kolsch, and pale. Tried them all and thought they were all bad. Best described as an unusual acidic taste to the beer. Bartender mentioned something about a new head brewer, fermenter, and glycol system being off. Regardless, I was disappointed. Hopefully they get things fixed because I've enjoyed the beers here before. read more

I finally forced myself to make another visit to this brewery due to a few requests to profile it for my website, and after another visit I left feeling the same way. There was only 1 beer I enjoyed and that was the hefeweizen (same as my first visit). The seasonal beers all tasted very artificial (caramel extract in a vanilla caramel porter) and artificial ingredients don't belong in craft beer. The main difference now is the brewery also seems to be going through an identity crisis where the wait staff presented themselves as if they worked at a biker bar in a mountain lodge themed brewery. If more breweries eventually open up in Parker with tap rooms an Elk Mountain actually has competition I would not be surprised to see this place fade away over time. There will not be a third visit. read more

Great casual place! Staff are all super nice like coming around asking how things are. Bring your own food (cause food truck cancelled) - popcorn provided yet owner ordered free pizzas, very generous indeed. The "Golden Bear" was my fav light beer w/lil fruit taste! To top it off they partnered w-Paint Cellar to have beer mug painting right there in the bar (reasonable fee), what a fabulous way to enjoy new flavors of craft beers, meet new ppl, plus support local arts -the beer mug is mine to keep! read more

Out where I live, craft breweries are few and far between. The ones that are out here, have either funky hours, are too packed to have a beer inside, or don't have very many beers on tap. Elk Mountain Brewing is close to home, has plenty of seating, and has a lot of beers on tap. Add in some free popcorn, and good background music and i'm sold! This is my absolute favorite brewery in Parker. Great customer service, inviting and friendly environment, free popcorn, and great food trucks! My wife and I love their brews. This is not a restaurant so I'm not sure why people are deducting for them not having food. It is basically a tasting room that looks like a bar and many small breweries start out this way. I love their stout and the wife loves the pale ale. I don't drink beer, but even still I stopped in. The staff is friendly, and really only knowing the brewing process and never finding any beer that I actually like, I can't say much in the way of what they have here. I did try a couple of things. I guess this place is more traditional when it comes to the styles they make or so I am told, so if you are looking to try a couple of really off the wall creations there isn't a whole lot in the way of that here. The space is appropriately decorated, still I feel a little outta place with the location. There is a pool table to pass the time if you are so inclined and a popcorn machine. read more

Fantastic beer! We stopped in for a beer and ended up staying for hours and ordering food. I enjoyed the simplicity of the atmosphere and the owner was very friendly. I was a bit thrown off by their lack of food, but when you think about it, it's genius. I love to cook and I'm a food snob, so the fare at the usual brew bars is mediocre at best. I can literally make food at home, pack it up and eat it at the brewery. Besides, when can you order Chinese food AND drink wonderfully crafted microbrews?! read more

Elk Mountain is definitely one of the better breweries in the Denver metro area. The tap room always seems to busy because of the devoted following they have. The Wild Wapiti Wheat is an excellent Bavarian weiss, and I also enjoyed a cherry stout they had at the time. To be totally honest, I prefer Hall Brewing, which has a tap room just a short distance to the south, but Elk Mountain is well worth your time if your'e in the area. read more

Visited late last week, and oh, how the pizza has deteriorated :-( We've been going there for years, under the old ownership/name and before the pizza kitchen opened. When the pizza kitchen opened the pizza crust used to be one of the best I've had. Fast forward to now - what the heck happened? The crust was like a soggy saltine, no taste, no substance, nothing. Once upon a time it was a spent grain crust. I know that's a challenge; they backed away from that. That took the pizza from a 5 to 4, but wow, it's bordering on bad now. Beer's okay, there's so much less variety than there used to be too. Sad day indeed. read more

We entered Elk Mtn tonight at 8:15pm to celebrate a huge mile stone for an upcoming business in Parker with several of our supports in tow! Bummed to see the closing time was 9 we grabbed beers quickly and started to Celebrate. Long story short we left happy at 9:40! A great experience. The staff and owners were very helpful and were a joy to be around. I heard they're will be more changes to make the patio more attractive by a wonderful space a great beer. This place is hard to find, even for someone that lives in Parker. It's tucked away in the light industrial buildings just a little west of Parker and Plaza. That said, the beer in this place stands up to anything I've had anywhere else! The wheat beer is as good or better than my favorite Paulaner. The brown ale is on the board as award-winning and is a wonderful nutty, smooth brown ale. I can't wait to try the rest of their beers! This place is why growler cozies where invented! read more

I gotta say, any brewery in my opinion is a good thing. And this one did not disappoint in terms of tasty cold beverages. I love the fact that when you order the beer sampler, they bring it out on a snowshoe. Hands down favorite has to be their hefeweizen. I know I like my lighter, summer beers and this one left me wanting a whole growler of it. One thing that did disappoint me though is that they no longer allow dogs in here. I'm not sure if there was an incident recently or not, but they now have a sign posted on their doors stating that no dogs are allowed. Other than that, they have about 4 flat-screen tvs on the walls and are more than happy to accomodate your viewing pleasure. And you can't beat the free pool and popcorn! read more

Great little place in parker for some micro brews. Love the nitro tap. Very laid back and cool place to go. There more than willing to give you a sample of whatever you like. I love the IPA there. The only down side is they have no food. read more

Beer is good and the service has always been excellent. IPA seemed cloudy but it was one of the better IPAs I have had. Love the S&K Bahn Mi food truck that shows up on Growler Tuesdays. Cool brewery decor and good beer. Too long of a drive from Denver but Parker folks are lucky to have a good brewery near by. I cannot say I am a fan yet, the Imperial Cherry Stout was very yummy but I just did not feel it quite yet. Keep on working on your brews, add some nitro and better saisons, experiment! Suburban breweries are lucky since they have a steady flow of suburbans and don't face the competition Denver-based breweries do. However, this does not mean they have to settle and produce average good beer. It has to be great if it is in Colorado. read more

We are visiting the area and stopped in for one quick one, but it was a good one! Liquid Assets, an excellent 2XIPA. The space is modern, but it has a good pub feel to it. There was a pizza food truck outside, and a patio out back. We plan to return several times before we leave town. read more

Great Place to hang out, and you can bring your own food too. The beer is good enough. I had three different beers, and all were pretty textbook. The appearance was good for all three, the all smelled good, and they all tasted good. One of the beers didn't finish the way I thought it should, but that is just a small ding. If you are in the Parker area it's worth a stop. If you like craft beer, give it a try - you'll like it. read more

I really enjoy going to Elk Mountain. Most of the beer is good, but I don't like it to much when he experiments with the different flavored beers. I like the family atmosphere. It's fun when they have get togethers & potlucks there. We love to take ice cream there and make root beer floats from their root beer. read more
