The negative reviews are most likely coming from people that walked in an expected everyone to drop what they were doing to care care of them. The estimated wait time that my son was given went past the time by almost two hours. When he got home, I noticed that one of his hubcaps was missing. I sent him back to Discount Tire to see if they had it or maybe it was not put back on tight enough and came off as he was driving home. They did not have the hubcap when he went back, but they told him to go to the nearest Auto Zone, get a new set of hubcaps and they reimbursed him and put the hubcaps on. The car looks nice.

I asked what time they closed and she said: "we closed at 5." I apologized and started heading back toward the car and she said "hold on, they'll still see you, though." i thought...wow. that's cool. I stood by my car and then an older gentleman came out and asked what he could do for me with the kindest, most patient smile on his face. Since I was at my wits end (having driven around to 3 different tire shops that didn't have my size tires) so his smile calmed me down some. I told him that i had a blow out and none of the tire shops around here had my size tires. He excused himself and came back 2 minutes later with not only the right sized tire--but the EXACT same brand and model! This is huge because I have a lease and I'm sure that I would have been billed once turning my car in for not having the same (or comparable) tires on the vehicle. A younger man took my donut off, put the new (used) tire on and even put my spare back underneath my car. They told me it would be only $50, plus tax and I happily paid. I drove off in a completely different mood. Now for the best part: The enTIRE (pun intended) encounter took less than 15 mins from start to finish! This was the best experience I have ever had related to my since I got it--even better than the dealership. Everyone should patronize Park Tire on Fort St. in Lincoln Park.
