Shady practices adding "protection plans" without asking. Came in for an alignment and oil change, and now my door sleeve is shaking and broken didnt tell me why they messed with it or apologized and was rude as hell accusing me of breaking it. Made an appointment for 10am to put on 4 new tires and do an alignment. I got there at 10am and was assured my car would be next. Their promised time said it would be done at 10:35am. They didn't have the tires on until 12:00pm and it would have been another 20 mins for the alignment. So I left without the alignment. In short: they take 2 hours to put on new tires if you make an appointment. I don't know if your a walk in. read more

I know I didn't make an appointment ahead of time but the evening before he encouraged to me to come in first thing in the morning the next day. My schedule was really right and given the tight schedule I was on he assured me that I'd be on time for work. Definitely coming back for future services. I took my 2011 Buick to the Belle Tire on Dix Rd & Eureka (Southgate, MI) about 4 months ago to get an oil change. The guy who worked on the car was heavy set and when I got in the car and tried to adjust the seat, it would not elevate. It wouldn't move up at all and I KNOW the Seat Control Wasn't Broken! When we informed the manager on duty he didn't even try to find out if his mechanic broke it. I Was Not pleased at all! Also found out they didn't put Enough Oil in to make it full up. I will not go back to that Belle Tire as they don't care if they break stuff on your car. read more

Took my truck back the following Monday to get re-aligned and had no issues at all. The store manager, Chris, handled the issue no questions asked. He was super nice and made sure that the problem got take care of. I must say from beginning to end I had a pretty positive experience with the Belle Tire on Dix Rd. Initially Not knowing exactly where to go, I pulled partially into the garage to ask a question. Brandon came over, answered my questions with a smile and helped me get the info I needed to give to the service personnel inside. Inside all 3 of the service people were busy with phone calls but Sean took a minute to speak and say they would be with me shortly. Sean was knowledgeable, funny and pleasant. He showed me my choices, showed me the damage to the strut and also showed me the information to assist me in making an informed decision. Not happy after spending over $1,300 on tires they broke the center cap on my 2017 car I have and would not do anything about it so now I have to spend another 55 for a new cap for their mess up.. The manager says it happens all the time, well I have had plenty of cars old and new and they have never broke on me.. read more

I went in for an alignment and the mechanic, Adam, tore my brake line. I realized when I went to leave that the brake pedal went all the way to the floor which is not the condition it was in when I arrived. I went back in and spoke with Adam's supervisor who then called Adam over to explain what happened. I did not hear what was said between them but the supervisor decided that it could have been Adam or could have been me. Then the supervisor told me that he was capable of fixing the dangerous issue that his employee caused, and then refused to fix it. I go in the next day and he says basically that he would get to it when he'd get to it. Terrible service. Never coming back. Also called customer care and the HR department; never heard back. I suppose since you already got my money, my safety does not matter. read more

My wife and I were driving from Cincinnati when we hit a pothole and experienced our first blowout. We hobbled to Belle Tire @ 2230 Dix where we were informed that they did not have our tire size in stock, but I could drive 15 minutes away to get a tire at another Belle location. We had no spare (a new car) so couldn't drive. I asked if a tire could be delivered or picked up. I was told 'no - we are too busy'. Looking around, there were more employees than customers. The other store was too busy as well - I was told. I waited 20 minutes for an UBER and picked up the tire myself. The other store had zero customers in the lobby. We eventually got our tire replaced, but I am certain someone at either store could have helped us out. Customer service matters. Really frustrating. read more

Not impressed. I used to go here about a decade ago, and returned at the end of last year since I live in the area again. I came in on a Saturday afternoon for a slow leak on my tire. Understandably they were busy, but it was still a good hour or two before closing. Plenty of time to check out a simple leak. However, the guy acted like they were far too busy to even consider it and didn't have anything nice to say until I turned around and walked out. Too late to save it, buddy. Drove down Dix to Belle Tire at Dix and Eureka in Southgate and got great service that same day. They said there would be a wait but they were extremely friendly and said it would be no problem. Because of that, I've been again since and plan on going again. I even decided to give this bad Belle Tire another try, since it's closer and I just needed air in one tire. Friends who have gone there told me "just pull up to the first bay, and they'll come right out and fill you up." I waited for ten minutes today and was never even acknowledged. Keep in mind, the guys pulled in two different cars while I was waiting, and avoided eye contact while doing so. Finally, I got out and filled up the tire myself in about ten seconds. Looks like Lincoln Park Belle Tire just solidified their loss of a customer! read more

Excellent customer service. I took my car to Firestone first for repairs to my to rear tires. I was told that they could not be repaired and furthermore my front tires were bald. (My car has 20,000 miles on it and I could see you at the front tires weren't bald). The next day I took it to Belle Tire. I didn't tell them anything about my experience at Firestone. They fixed the valve stem on my driver side rear tire and found a screw that had not penetrated the eye other tire and therefore no repair was necessary. They attributed the pressure loss to just ordinary fluctuation. They said the front tires were fine and overall the car was in great condition. That was a month ago and I have not had any problem with my tires sense. I was so impressed I bought a full size spare to replace the tire factory issued donut tire. Well , I use to go to Belle Tire a lot because it was better than going to Sears and I felt that there was a bit more transparency. That is until today. I valued this Belle Tire as being professional and honest in regards to the scope of their abilities. Sadly , I was let down today by the Belle Tire brand after waiting for five hours for my car to be serviced only to find out that my waiting had been in vain. Although I was relieved to find out that my vehicle had been inspected , even if only superficially , my dismay came from the fact that the serviceman had forgotten about me . Subsequently, my vehicle sat in the parking lot as I watched the bays empty out without my name being called once for three hours. Please only get tire's from this place as the name suggests that is what the brand is best at. read more

Not only did they check the tire, found 3 nails and repaired it but they were honest about the wait time and provided me with options. They were courteous & welcoming. Horrible you pay for certs on tires and they charge you $19.99 for installing one tire! Definitely going to discount tire for my next set!

They have corrected 3 bad alignments for me, and are willing to work with custom specs. "Close enough" doesn't cut it here, they do it right the first time. read more
