Pretty clean and decent equipment. Somewhat busy at peak times but to be expected given proximity to city center.

Visited here a few times as a guest of a member. This is a great gym for people who compete. When…read moreyou visit, you will mostly see & hear the bodybuilders. If you go downstairs, they have pictures of the legends & some of their locals who train at Club Fitness. There are "regular" work out people as well but, the professionals obviously stand out. The selection of equipment is abundant & everyone is friendly so don't be scared to ask if they're done with a machine. This gym also has a female only room, & other rooms that cater to a specific workout, such as abs, legs, etc. They also have a punching bag which is rare to find. The main floor is where you can find the cardio machines. These aren't the latest & greatest, but they get the job done. Make sure you have some headphones to keep you motivated. I haven't tried an aerobics session yet. I usually attend in the evenings. I can say the cycle class is popular. What bothers me about this gym is the amount of paper towel dispensers & how you obtain the sanitizer. The paper towels are hard to find & are scarce. The sanitizer, you need to grab a bottle from the front desk & basically keep it with you. On busy days, they aren't always visually available & you may have to ask someone to bower theirs. Also, people don't always return them to the desk, so you may have to search around the floor. Also, I suggest wiping down the machine or weights before using them. Some people jump between them, going back & forth & they don't wipe them down until they're completely done. So if you're not aware, you may use something in between their workout. Gotta be careful with covid. The mask situation is still in effect here. Wear it while walking around. The staff are very friendly if you're friendly to them. I haven't had any issues & the member I go with is constantly joking around with all the staff. They don't press you to become a member either, which is nice. Guests pay $10 & free on Fridays. The restrooms are always clean. I haven't used the showers, so can't comment too much, but they look clean. If I lived in the area or a Club Fitness near me, I'd join.

**spinning class review**…read more I came here Richard's spin class, and it was epic. I've taken a ton of spinning classes in CT and NYC, and Richard's was my favorite. His song selection and choreography (if that's the right word?) was totally on point. Even though I was exhausted after one song, I was so excited to find out what the next song and challenge would be. And somehow I managed to keep up the pace and enthusiasm throughout the hour long class, mainly because he had the energy and excitement to keep the full class going. The room itself was amazingly well ventilated despite not having any windows. The bikes were really comfortable and had a great seat. The bikes include clips as well as the ability to use sneakers. Walking through the gym before and after the class, I could tell quickly that Club Fitness focuses on weight training above cardio. There's plenty of cardio machines, but the way the gym was set-up lends itself more to a weight lifting crowd. While the equipment is packed, it does not feel too crowded. Gym includes a smoothie bar in the back as well as tanning rooms. If I wasn't already locked into a gym, I'd think about switching just for Richard's spinning classes.

Everyone is on top of each other. I visited on a Wednesday around 5p & it's definitely busy, so you're spending a lot of time waiting for a machine to become free. If you're going for cardio machines, you should be ok. Make sure to bring headphones because the music they play can barely be heard. The black card room is also small & there's no privacy when using the massage chairs. Be sure to bring a full water bottle.I didn't see any water fountains on the floor. The gym is clean & the machines they have are newer. I only saw 1 out of order stretch machine. The trainers are nice & helpful. Since this is the only PF in the area, like most, I'd have to use this gym. But I wouldn't if there were other options. It's just too congested for my comfort.

So, they only have 3benches, 1machine for each body part and quite a few ellipticals & treadmills. Now, there are too many people there and none of them know gym etiquette. They hog the machines in groups switching from person to person. They tie up 2machines at a time and spend more time taking pictures of themselves and staring in the mirror. There is no one to enforce gym rules. I won't go back.

The staff is friendly but not knowledgeable on what a guest pass includes. I spoke to three different employees who told me three different things so that's been really confusing. They put together a sick playlist though, lol. The equipment is new to me and honestly I removed a star solely because of the hip adduction and abduction machines. The seats move while you're doing your reps and it's probably one of the worst things I've ever experienced. I watched the instructional video and all to make sure my form was correct and I still ended up messing up my back somehow. I do really like the post-workout shake bar, though. I tried the coffee and chocolate shake and it was pretty good. The gym and locker room are really clean. I love the section they have upstairs if you'd like a bit more privacy during your workout. All in all, while this gym is really nice and I think the amenities are beautiful, I don't feel it's worth signing up and being locked in for an entire year.

Edge uses this company for billing. They are awful to deal with, and make it very difficult to cancel a membership. And they will do anything to milk extra fees out of you when you try. READ THE FINE PRINT. you are pretty much locked in. For The Edge Fitness Clubs, ABC Fitness is explicitly identified in Edge's current membership terms as its third-party payment processor. Edge's agreement says cancellations, recurring dues, electronic documents, and certain account communications can involve ABC Fitness Solutions, LLC. ABC has also publicly described The Edge as a customer using its ABC Ignite/Perkville technology. They are the same also for Big Sky Fitness, and it's even more explicit: Big Sky's own member handbook says "all membership changes are handled by Big Sky's billing company, ABC Fitness." So ABC handles membership-account administration/billing for Big Sky as well. So, in practical terms: * The Edge Fitness Clubs ABC Fitness handles payment processing/member-management technology. * Big Sky Fitness ABC Fitness is its billing company and handles membership changes. * ABC Fitness does not appear to own either chain. Buyer beware!!!!
