10/28/23 This diner is under new ownership...formerly Plain & Simple Diner. We stopped in for a late lunch. We waited about 35 minutes for a table as they were very busy. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich ($12) which came with one side. I chose onion rings. I skipped the soft drinks ($3.00) as I don't care for Coke products. My food was tasty. I would visit again but maybe not on a Saturday.

Lives up to the name. Nice simple place with a hidden dining room. We ordered a few simple items and all were just as expected. We would return for the sweet potato fries with sweet butter...they were delicious. Chili was ok, kinda soupish. Salad was messed up but they replaced promptly. Server was friendly and kind. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick, simple bite to eat.

The food is good, but nothing fancy. Everything was fresh, except the onion rings-definitelyfrozen. The burgers and fish are excellent. My wife loved the fried mushrooms. The service was great. The price was very reasonable. The decor is basic.

What a great little diner. We stopped in to get some lunch while visiting Amish country, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh and really warm When it came to the table. The onion rings were delicious and crispy! The waitress was attentive and quickly refilled our drinks! I would recommend this sweet little diner to anyone!

Came to spend a day in Berlin and ate in this diner. The service and food was excellent. I ordered the turkey club with potato wedges and was mouth watering. Prices are reasonable.

Genuinely, my review is based solely on our waitress. Debbie is phenomenal! Our kiddo ordered a…read moresoda and she turned to look at my husband and I to verify it was okay. As an older individual, she was SO attentive to every single table she had in her area. Making sure drinks were refilled, letting us know the wait time for our child's food to come out. She is truly where she needs to be and I hope the company + others see the value in her! Our food was typical Dutchman Hospitality Group food - tasted exactly like the Der Dutchman close to where we live. Not great, but not terrible. Everything was hot and edible. Our kiddo ordered sliders and said they were very good.

I started with a salad from the salad bar, and was really happy that the lettuces, eggs, broccoli, everything, was chopped into really small pieces. I really like a well chopped salad, even if it's silly. For my hot dishes, I had the broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, and a couple of bits of other things. The chicken was really moist with nice skin, and I enjoyed the noodles over the potatoes with some gravy. They had a lot of chicken available, and the pieces were really generous. There was at least one beef dish, and I also saw macaroni and cheese, which is not my first choice, but is popular. The restaurant offers a discount on pie with the buffet, but none of us wanted any more food! Overall, a good experience, and everyone was happy when we left.

Amish Country at its best!…read more This is a gem of a restaurant. We found this place thanks to the great reviews on Yelp. We were not familiar with Baltic, Ohio, yet we were so happy we found this place. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were eating in someone's home. Christian, the manager, could have not done anything more to accommodate us. He really went out of his way to enhance our experience. Our waitress, Arlene, had told us she had been there for several years and you could really tell this by her ability to help us through the menu. She wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. The menu was one like I had never seen before. Everything from a large breakfast selection to Wagyu and Prime steaks. I had the best Ruben sandwich I had ever eaten ( that is saying a lot). We also shared the Wagyu filet with hand cut fries and sweet potato fries. The steak was sautéed with fresh mushrooms and onions. The steak was seasoned to absolute perfection. You have to try this. I have posted pictures of the menu. Don't forget a side order of homemade mac & cheese. Their prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food and the impeccable service. The decor is perfect. Simple yet very pretty. They even have a nice area (living room style) that we hung out in until our table was ready. This Amish restaurant is the "best of the best". I will be back in this area next year and will be sure to make this my go to restaurant. Bravo to the staff and chef, well done.

Pork chop was cooked alright, but definitely needed a sauce to add some flavor as it was bland. Coconut mango rice was sad (my wife is filipino so she knows a bit about rice, mangoes, and coconut). I had the reuben and it was alright. I don't understand why all the steaks and fish are "market price" on the menu. This is not a fancier restaurant that serves wagyu, why can you not figure out how to price half of your meats? Service = Good with no problems. Restaurant = Stylish, Spacious, and Clean.
