We wanted to try a new place and decided to try Downtown Diner located in Celebrations. Luckily we made reservations online but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table after we arrived. Is it worth the wait? Yes, it is! This diner can be found in the middle of the cute town. It also helped that they had a farmers market in the morning and allowed us to walk around while we waited for our table. Nothing special about the menu but the food was fresh and tasty. I was able to find a Gluten-Free section on the menu and made my choice. Wasn't a big choice selection but enough for me to find something to eat. The staff was extremely friendly and was always ready to refill your coffee when you're running low. I look forward to coming back and trying other options they have on their menu. read more

My husband and I only get one evening a week to share a nice "date night." Friday night, we tried a new place, Downtown Diner in Celebration. It was a great choice. The food and service were fantastic. The portion size will not disappoint you, trust me, you will not be leaving hungry unless you decide to have water only. We will be back and look forward to trying another great item on the menu. Be sure to ask about the daily specials. A Philly is not like any other Philly sandwich you had before. So many great choices that you will have to go back several times to find the dish you love most. This restaurant did use to be better. The food is hit or miss these days. I don't love the decor now and the food always somehow wrong. I don't ask for much no sausage sub potato. The staff is always wonderful and fixes it. ‍ Also, the grits are sweet. I get it people from different areas like different things but..what if I was diabetic. It had sugar in it. It's a lovely restaurant with lots of options for everyone. They have lots Gluten Free and Vegan options which is a big deal for a breakfast/brunch/lunch place. But the service is hit or miss and when there is an event they can't handle it. It seems they also got a lot of new staff which is a bummer cause I loved some of the other people and I didn't see one of them when we dined there today. I hate to give this a 4/5 because honestly it's one of my favorite restaurants and I love taking people here. But the last few times I have whether there is an event or not the food isn't always great but the service is always great and they fix whatever might be wrong. I do love the 80's and the Saved By the Bell/Back to the Future 2 in diner decor they are doing. I just honestly grew up in the 80's-90's so for it to be Vintage now just makes me sad. We went on a Sunday and there was a farmers market/art fest happening in the streets, all the waitstaff we're dressed in medieval costumes and looked like they were having a good time. I had the Oink Oinkhe Omlet which had Bacon, Ham, Sausage and mushrooms, It was very tasty. The American cheese in the middle gave it even more flavor. The Wife ordered the the "Egg"celent Choice with 2 eggs Bacon, sausage, toast and tator tots, also very tasty. Only issue, I asked a waitress to grab our waitress before she made our drink so I can make a change, the waitress didn't come until she brought our drinks. She said once she poured a cranberry juice she can't return it so she has to charge for it but she can still bring my wife her milkshake in addition to the cranberry juice that ordered for her, the milkshakes were also good but I think they should have a more customers friendly policy on things like this. read more

This diner is the best breakfast place in the Orlando area. I had avocado toast & my husband had the country skillet. Both were excellent. The best part is it is in downtown Celebration. We went today for breakfast. We live 3 minutes walking distance and always wanted to have a meal there. Unfortunately the receptionist and her manager did not allow us because we had our Service Dog with us and they forced us to seat where there was another dog. Despite our pet is a certified Service Dog, the two together were not working well. We asked to move for another table and she said in a rude way that we could not forcing us to leave the restaurant. Dined at this sorry restaurant multiple times in hopes of having at least one good experience, since we lived in the town of Celebration. It was poor every time. Burgers, fries, and sausage are cooked from frozen and have no flavor. Our typical seating experience went something like 30 minute wait; followed by 20 minutes seated before somebody brings a menu and greets us; followed by waiting 30 more minutes for food to arrive after ordering. Food was usually cold or luke warm at best and, again, flavorless. Milkshakes look amazing and taste great, but they come in very thick shake glasses so you only get a few sips before your $5+ milkshake is gone. Won't be giving this place another chance. read more

This place is a hidden gem in downtown celebration. We came on a Wednesday morning. Quick seating, very nice waitress named Alice and the food was good. Only complaint was that the tater tots and home fries were not fresh at all. Borderline cold, probably sitting already cooked for a minute and then served. But my omelette was definitely made fresh to order. Veggie omelette was good and avocado toast was even better. Called while in line at another place they said they could seat us so we came and they accommodated although it looked busy got sat right away manager was super nice and helpful.
