The first two small baskets of chips are included and with the second basket they didn't bring or offer to refill the chunky salsa. Both were tasty. If you want more than that, there's a small fee. For drinks, I ordered the sangria fresco, which was fine, but I wouldn't order it again. Something in it gave me an immediate headache. No idea what that could have been. Another in our party ordered a margarita and that was really good- served in a mason jar on the rocks with a salted rim. Refreshing and tangy as you'd expect. Our meals: Fish tacos served with grilled tilapia - for a nice bonus they were served with avocado on top. He loved these. Fajita salad with chicken in a taco shell bowl. She said it was yummy and very filling. Veggie burrito made vegan by replacing the cheese sauce with a red sauce. The red sauce was basically a plain tomato sauce with a little seasoning - not great. The veggies in the burrito included an over abundance of sautéed spinach, a disappointing scant amount of barely there mushrooms, grilled onions and peppers, and weirdly raw broccoli florets. I love a bite of raw broccoli on a raw veggie platter, but inside a burrito was ... weird. It was difficult to cut and the texture didn't mesh with the rest of the burrito. It needed to be steamed longer or grilled / sautéed. The rice and refried beans were delicious! Probably the best beans I've had in recent memory- they have some texture to them, not soupy smooth like some places, and a fabulous smoky flavor. Get the beans. The place itself is set up the same way the former restaurant was, with the same nasty mold on the ceiling tiles (so gross). The building owner needs to hire a good roofing company. The people were friendly and service was good, but we were there mid afternoon on a Sunday and no one else was in the place. It looks like they do a trivia night and have other things happening.

The restaurant was very clean and gave off a great vibe. Our waitress was friendly and gave great suggestions. We order quesadillas. I got steak and sis got chicken. Very flavorful but needed more cheese. The guacamole was chunky with lots of flavor. Margaritas top notch. Will definitely be returning.

Yup, right there anchoring down the corner of Mulberry and Grove Sts was ANGIE'S KITCHEN. Wow...they offer several menu items but I bet you 9 out of 10 people choose the scrumptious OLD TYME BUFFET. It had everything you possibly could desire. The salad bar featured beets and locally grown tomatoes that had the taste from years ago. Fried Chicken, Pasta, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Fish, Soups (2), .....ohhh my I cannot remember all the delicious items. The only thing exceeding the scrumptious buffet was the attentiveness and spirited attitude of the server. Her name was Leslie or Lindsay ... let her choose which name but she married into the family. She was such a memorable person that one remembers. Thanks, Angie's Kitchen. Hope so much to come thaty way again.

The burgers are consistently delicious, and the menu is packed with satisfying Southern comfort-food favorites. A lot of the menu features fried items that appear to be frozen then fried fresh just before they are served. That is not a criticism at all; the food comes out hot, crispy, and full of flavor. The chicken-fried steak is a great example. It is not a handmade steak prepared from scratch in the kitchen, but rather a prepared patty--and it is still absolutely delicious, especially when you order it as a sandwich. Be sure to try the fried squash or fried okra. Both are crispy, flavorful, and among the better versions I have had around town. They also serve some of the best sweet tea I have tasted anywhere. Breakfast is another reason to visit--their morning food is outstanding. Add in the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and a serving staff that is always top-notch, and you have a place that is easy to recommend. This is one of my favorite local spots and definitely somewhere you should go if you are looking for a casual, tasty meal.

You have an option to sit indoors or outdoors, the bar is very beautiful, the seating and booths in the restaurant were nice, and the bathrooms were clean and organized as well. The food was amazing! I ordered the Tupelo shrimp and grits meal which was so flavorful to where I even had to give my dad a bite. The staff was super friendly and always made sure you had everything you needed. I definitely recommend coming to this restaurant with some friends and family if you're in Farragut.

The staff were wonderful but I must point out with nearly half empty tables the young hostess was a bit frazzled had difficulty with her electronic note pad and told us there was a 45 minute wait. The front house could use some training. We decided to wait at the bar and wound up eating there. Although friendly and helpful the bartender kept disappearing undoubtedly to cover for the server shortage. The food was excellent. I am entertaining a German coworker and wanted him to experience upscale and creative southern cooking. Tupelo Honey delivered! The fried green tomato appetizer with goat cheese grits and a zippy orange remoulade was awesome! My friend had the hot chicken and waffles and I had the shrimp and grits. He enjoyed the chicken and waffles very much. I have to say the shrimp and grits with Chorizo sauce was delicious and filling. Great job on the food. This place is a good choice just be patient for slightly longer than usual wait times for seating and serving. The people are nice and doing the best they can.

We started with the pimento dip, the menu states it comes with tortilla chips, but the chef has changed to use fresh homemade potato chips instead which both my wife and I prefer. It was really good. Next, we received our main courses. I ordered the steak, which comes with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife ordered the salmon, which comes with rice. The steak was so good, it is now tied with the best steak I have ever had in my life. It was cooked perfectly, but what set it apart is that it was the most tender, melt in your mouth steak I have ever had. I don't know how they can get a steak that tender, but it was amazing. There were not a bad bite to the steak, it was really a perfect cut of steak that was sourced local. My wife's salmon was just as good, a crispy exterior with a moist, perfectly cooked filet of salmon. For dessert we ordered the Molton lava cake which my wife says she is a connoseur of molten lava cakes and is picky when it comes to them. Her verdict: amazing. This was really an excellent dinner in a cozy restaurant at the club. I would highly recommend Citico's, and have nothing but the highest praise for the new head chef.
