We had a pretty solid dinner here. We were looking for a place in the area with simple food and TVs where we could watch the Final Four basketball games on TV. This turned out to match just what we were looking for. We started with some fried pickles. These were yummy but not the best I've ever had. For our entrees, I got the Polish Platter and my husband got the GOATavern Nachos from the appetizer section. I'm a sucker for pierogis and these were pretty good. Everything else on the platter was solid. My husband's nachos were a really big portion, which we love to see, but we thought they were lacking in flavor. The locale is super neat, with a bunch of different areas to sit in, especially when the weather is nice. It was Doyle's, then Stella's and Now, Downtown Pourhouse. What they all have in common, I have liked them all. The place has changed along with the name, but not tons. What has not changed is the comfy neighborhood bar feel and a nice place to have a great meal, some drinks and snacks. The front room was bright with lots of sun and the bar area is has stayed pretty much the same. Cosy bar vibes with regulars. Both areas, very inviting and appealing. I have always loved the fried mushrooms and they are fantastic here! The tavern burger remains a favorite along with crispy and tasty fries. The service, excellent! The food came out promptly and it was a great time with delicious food. For me, that is what 5 stars feel like. May not be gourmet, but it checked every box. read more

We had so much fun here! The food prices are not bad and it's a very welcoming place. We went for open mic night which was on the back tiki patio. It felt like I was on vacation with the decor, vibe and live music! It was storming out and water did come in on the floor but it was a patio, no one seemed to care. The inside is smaller but cozy. The front has another more indoor feel type porch area. We went for drinks and music this time but I'll definitely be back for dinner next time! read more

Pretty solid traditional bar in downtown Plymouth. Great to grab a beer with a friend to catch up. The food menu is overwhelmingly huge. The burger I had was solid. I'd love if they had a few more beer options on draft. They need to get rid of the covid plexiglass between the booths. It's just awkward now. Didn't get a chance to check out the area out back that seemed beach/tiki themed, but it seems like a fun idea and something unique to Plymouth. read more

I got the bacon cheeseburger with macaroni. Burger was good, macaroni was very soupy but not a bad flavor once I fished a noodle out. Server was kind. Mozzarella sticks are super good, seasoned and crunchy shell to them. We also got a pretzel appetizer that came with a delicious queso. Tried the Downtown Pourhouse last night for the first (and definitely last) time. Ordered the Shrimp Burrito -- sounded good, right? Wrong. The rice had all the flavor of wet cardboard, so I asked the waitress for cumin and paprika just to do their job for them. Then I bit into the burrito... shrimp was still frozen. Not "a little undercooked" -- I mean straight outta the freezer section. I've had better meals at a gas station. Zero out of ten. Would rather eat my own shoe. read more

First time here since the name and ownership change. Lunch at 1130. First ones here. Payton was our server. Friendly, no frills kinda delivery. She did a great job of checking in to see how we were doing. We ordered the Queso and chips, the Tavern burger with fries, and the Cluckin Chicken sliders with tots. Queso and chips...outstanding. Chips came out very hot and nicely seasoned. Queso was very thick and very mild. The chips were some of the best pub tortilla chips I have had. Tavern burger was good. 1/2 pound on a brioche bun. Cluckin Chicken sliders were very good. My wife could only eat 1 of the 3. A cute chicken strip with bacon, tomato, and lettuce on mini buns. Chicken was very moist. We could have split this meal. Pretty happy with this visit so I will say this is a got o place in my book. read more

Stopped in to have lunch with a couple of coworkers. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. We all ordered burgers and everyone was happy with there order. Definitely would recommend them and we will be back next time we are working in the area. read more

I had the 'smash' burger. I was two thick burger patties on a small bun. Not seasoned at all and decidedly not a smash burger. It had a few bits of grilled onion and American cheese which contributed nothing to the lack of flavor. The fries were warm but not crisp. McDonalds usually has better fries. On the positive side, the waitress was very nice. The place hasn't changed since Stella's and they didn't bother with air conditioning on a warm day. read more

Food is ALWAYS amazing here! But Kristen the server had an attitude for some reason. She never smiled (until she dropped the bill ofc). She just looked pissed the whole time. Even while delivering food to other tables. When we'd ask for anything she wouldn't say a word and just walk away like we were a burden. We were exceptionally kind to her bc we know people have bad days. But honestly, if you're going to work for the public and expect a tip based on your service, maybe you shouldn't have an attitude the whole time. I generally tip 25% where I go bc I used to serve, but behavior like this I cannot condone nor award with a tip you didn't earn. Here's a tip worth more than money: being angry takes more energy than putting on a smile and being happy. Kristen, try to wear a smile! I can tell you'd have a beautiful smile and you never know, maybe your smile can change someone's bad day. Please just do better. read more

We have been to the prior restaurant Stella's many times and really enjoyed our experiences. We were excited to try the new restaurant. We were unfortunately extremely disappointed. We were sat at a dirty table, we were waited on by the hostess that was busy hosting. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and requested it be grilled. The wrap contained chicken that appeared to have been previously prepared and frozen ( like from Gordon Foods), there was no cheese in the wrap and it arrived cold and was never grilled as requested. My husband ordered a burger which was good but was unable to have his Coke refilled due to the restaurant not having any more syrup available. I would have sent my wrap back but our server/hostess was no where to be found. It was an over all bad experience. So disappointing. read more
