I own a 2009 Prius which is a great car with one flaw: the catalytic converter is very easy to steal due to the design of the car and has become very valuable due to the precious metals inside. Yesterday, I started my car and my heart sank when the engine immediately became very loud and the 'check engine' light came on--The 'cat' had been stolen, sawed off in probably less than 3 minutes. Thieves had hit 3 cars including mine on that same block last night. I started to make some calls to get a quote on a new one and ran the battery down (I had been having a problem with the battery previously, but it was usually fine if I didn't run the radio or leave the lights on without the engine running). So, now my car wouldn't even start. I called Downtown Ronnie and someone from the shop came to where I was parked and jumped my car for free. Then they quoted me a fair price for a new cat (less than half what the Toyota dealer quoted), muffler pipe, and oxygen sensor and got the work done by the next day. And I keep coming back because Ronnie and his team provide excellent customer service, great work, honest and very reasonable prices. I made a mistake by buying a new bumper online without consulting Ronnie about it first. When I brought it to him, he said that it really doesn't fit and showed me. First of all i think all this good reviews are all bought up. I have had multiple experienced with those guys and i still gave them chances- But i will tell you my last and least ever. I own a Nissan Altima 2017 , full coverage insurance, one night suddenly i found my back glass broken, nothing stolen no other damages. I took it to ronny and they said sure they can fix the glass but you have to leave the car since we are a little busy - ok no problem- next day when i go i see huge scratches on my entire sides of the car- im like whataaa F.*** - someone comes out and is like oh we are sorry bla bla bla but we will paint the whole car. Long story short- they called the insurance and claimed damage to the whole body of the car so they could get much more money , after all this frustration at the end- the value of the car is almost 0 , And the paint they did on the car os terrible- i see dents on the doors and all they could say is oh f** guys at the car wash , But hello?? Is it my problem?? Please guys who ever is looking for bodyshop in here please avoid these guys- they are very good scams. I have nothing to lose anymore i lost a lot with them, but at least save yourself some money and some frustration Good luck you all.. And Guess what?? Be aware!!! This is a horrible place with horrible people. They painted our car and the job came out with many issues. Ersin said the job is "nice" but also said he will fix everything. We came on Saturday and he refused to talk to me because I'm a woman and "he has a deal just with my husband" but there were both of us. I have everything recorded because it's not the first time he is acting like this. Since 8 am on Saturday we were waiting for them to fix it and they made it even worse. They "polished" the hood to the black base and said that that's fine. I said there is no sense in this and we want a refund or car to be repainted. He got really mad and said to guys stop any job immediately. In that case, I told him we will file a claim. He refused to give his license and his last name and offer us $200 then $500 then $700,then $1000 and then wanted us to sign papers. We wanted just a refund because the car got more damages to be fixed. After I talked to him, He was really mad and after he said "don't talk to me like that because..." and I asked," what you gonna do?". He looked really mad and aggressive and we decided to call the police to have witnesses and someone to see damages and situation while we were there. Because once you come out of the body shop, they can say that are not responsible for the damages. Before the police came Ersin threatened us and forced to leave a place, but we explained to him that he has to wait for the police with us. So police officers came and told us what to do and confirmed that the car has damages and ISNT in good condition. They explained to us everything we wanted to know and we left the place right after police officers. I filed a claim on the BBB and probably will take it to the small court because the story is getting even worse. After everything ,Ersin is trying to manipulate and sent to my husband message, where he is saying that "this is very dangerous because police can give us his address or kids' school address and we are dangerous"!! That's ridiculous and offensive and slander! But probably he is trying to manipulate because we weren't listening to his "fairytales" and didn't let him gaslight us and to manipulate. So guys,please,beware of this place if you love your car and your mental health and time are important to you. Also, while we were waiting for our car to be done, he made a car accident with two customers' cars. read more
