I would come here during training and pick up a decaf but never had time to eat a meal. Finally made time to visit for a sit down meal and I am so glad we did. The Eggs Milan were perfect. A well balanced meal with a perfect amount of black pepper on the breakfast potatoes. Asiago cheese was not over bearing at all in my scramble. I really need to start cooking with that cheese at home. My girlfriend fell in love with her iced coffee. She scraped her plate as well!!! If it wasn't for my emergency surgery last week I know for sure I would have devoured my plate. I'm on injury reserve at the moment. On to the next meal today on my Birthday!!! Shout out to the chefs and staff here everyone was so welcoming. It seemed like everyone who walked in were returning guests that greeted the owner/staff. Community vibes for sure!!!

Found this on Yelp as we were looking for a good breakfast before heading home. Family run business with super nice staff. I ordered a basic pancake combo with bacon. Their honey butter added a good flavor twist. My wife had the Huevos Rancheros and added chicken chorizo sausage. It was excellent! Great place!

"Make It a Combo" plate with French toast and bacon. On the right is the appetizer Crab Cake (2 per plate). SO good!!

LOVE going to this little place. Parking can be full, especially on a weekend, but, once you're able to sit down and enjoy the service, food, and company you're with - you won't regret going here. HIGHLY recommend the Chai or Matcha to start AND to take out. I always order the Make it a Combo plate - French Toast and Bacon - and it's usually too much for me, but it's SO good. We also ordered Crab Cake and that was also delicious! DEFINITELY dip it in the sauce provided. Our waitress was lovely and bathrooms are clean. You just can't go wrong here.

Ok this place rules, TLDR awesome yummy well-priced food and great service. Super cute spot with inside and outside seating. There's a tablet where you can add yourself to the waitlist but we were seated very quickly even though it was busy. Salmon scramble was soooo good so much salmon! Corn muffin was super yummy and sweet and my boyfriend especially loved the way they did their country potatoes. Huevos rancheros was also awesome, great handmade beans. Had to get the French toast, also incredibly awesome it came w a sugary butter that was a must-use. Waitress was super kind and the food came fast. No notes!

I have been coming to Doyle's for years. I am surprised I have not left a review before. I love coming here. They have their own parking lot across the street, which makes parking easy. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly. They play soft music in the background for a pleasant experience. I also really like their daily specials. This gives you more options outside of the standard menu. It is always a great experience here.

We really like a family run business with restaurants at the top of our list. Doyle Street Cafe was an excellent choice for a weekday brunch. It was busy & yet not too loud. Service was friendly, prompt, and suggestions were welcomed! The Benedict's were each delicious with crab & smoked salmon. Coffee good, too!

Wonderful place for brunch! It's not very often I'm amazed by brunch since 90% of places taste the same with the typical default options, but this had some unique takes. Quite a small menu which in some ways is a good thing. I definitely struggled with choosing what to have for brunch. The greatest thing about this place is the potatoes. Thinly sliced, crispy, seasoned. I'll be dreaming about these potatoes the next time I have hash browns. Corned beef hash was hefty. Perfectly poached eggs, solid cornbread. Hollandaise in the benny had great color and flavor, darker than the usual hollandaise I see. Pesto crepe was crazy, never seen before in brunch. Lots of chicken and sauce. All of the meals were hearty and these potatoes were truly out of this world.

    Gluten free blue corn pancakes

The beverages are delightful! We had our breakfast faves and branched out some too. The gluten free blue corn pancakes, eggs, and other yummy breakfast items were enjoyed by our family. Yum!

This place is da bombbbb!!! You have to try it here! The service is great! I came in at the last hour, nervous they wouldn't seat me. But they took me in and took my order right away! Doyle Street Cafe gives an upscale vibe and it's very cozy. Very modern and cute! They were very helpful when giving me recommendations. I ordered a bunch of stuff and I would definitely recommend getting their crab cakes! They were soo good, I am still thinking about them. The french toast was cooked to perfection.

This is definitely a spot I come to pretty often for brunch. My group always gets the pancakes for the table, and they are hands down some of the best ever--the flavor is just a total standout. The California Benedict is also the best crab Benedict I've tried, and the Del Mar crepe is another favorite. Plus, the service here is amazing as well. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing and delicious! They have so many options that you'll want to order everything. The service was good, and Julian was especially helpful. He recommended the Huevos Rancheros and the Farmers Breakfast, and we absolutely loved both! My friends and I also loved the outdoor seating, and we're already planning to come back soon! ( there is also parking lot right at the front of the restaurant, we noticed right when we were leaving lol)

Im on the waitlist for tomorrow at 10:00. I made it on yelp? Is it set or do I need to wait until tomorrow morning?

If I were you I would call the place and make sure I'm all set.

On yelp it says private parking lot, how's the parking? Is it street parking only or both.

Free Parking is available in a lot across the street. Look for the sign. There's also street…

    Are there any vegan options?

    Yes

Do we need to make reservations during the working hours and holidays?

I'm not sure. We walked in and got a table, but with Mother's Day around the corner and everything opening up (with higher tiers), I'd call and make reservations to assure your delicious brunch! Hee

What happened to the online waitlist?

They don't go by it, I tried using it a couple weeks back and they said they don't use it.

Do they have gluten free toast?

Just to make sure plz check online menu but it's a great place

Pastrami sandwich 4/5 It's a nice clean sandwich, nothing too heavy, and I love the pineapple. Pineapple was just ripe and sweet. I think that's a pretty unique complimentary side they're doing. No sandwich spot ever gave me a pineapple! haha The sandwiches are also very big so you can definitely save the other half for lunch or share it with a friend. I do wish that the bread was toasted and that there was some kind of tasty sauce to go with it. They also charge an extra .75 cents for takeout packaging. But nonetheless I enjoyed it. Ambience 4/5 Inside is cool and lively. A nice dining area to quickly grub with a friend. Staff were friendly but I didn't really have much of an interaction since I ordered online. Quick tip, order online ahead of time before heading there since the lines can get very long especially during lunch hours.

Everything sounded good and looked good on the Uber Eats menu. Thought it would be worth a try. Really disappointed with the food taste, quality and presentation. Instant NO for me if I would have known. On top of that, they heat the food inside the plastic. In 2026. In Berkeley CA. Unbelievable. How? My southwest scramble was heated most likely in a microwave and the plastic on the lid of the container is a bit melted. How appetizing. Whoever called this soggy piece of factory manufactured slop an English muffin please tell me how you imagined humans would find this appetizing. Every bite screamed "this is worse than mcdonalds." I can't wait to look this company up and see the bright minds behind these creations. Serving hospital/prison food with fancy names and healthy packaged sides to give an impression of healthy food with the cheapest possible ingredients is brilliant. Where can I invest? Both are great, but I like Poke Bar more as I feel you get more protein and food for the price, super fresh fish (cut smaller than Wow, but feels like I am getting more, plus I have the option of asking for tofu as an option!). I love all of the add-ins (fried garlic goes great with fish and is so good without being too overpowering, far less overpowering than fried onions), the sauces are great, I like being able to have brown rice without being charged extra (ahem, Wow Lemonade ;) ), the seaweed salad is delicious and the food was so good that right after I took the first bite I made an audible sound and rolled my eyes it was so good. I had to be chill about it, but dang, Poke Bar rocks! I also like that it is a tiny bit more affordable, and you get more food for the price. So much food that I wasn't able to finish my medium-sized bowl. Only detractor is that I wish their krab was krab salad and not just krab. And I wish that as far as two sides go, that I could get two sides of krab and just mix in one of their sauces and some wasabi and make my own krab salad. Only negative about the place is that they don't offer bags with handles, just regular brown smaller grocery bags. So, if they stepped it up a notch and had branded bags I think that would help to promote their business more since they are located in a somewhat out-of-the-way spot. Definitely come and check this place out. Super fast service, okay seating, great, great, GREAT fresh fish, and such an umami flavor. Tip: get a mix of white and brown rice to make it a tad bit healthier and get some more fiber (if you don't want to go fully salad style and get greens. Or be wild and get all three options as the base!).

I think I just discovered my favorite restaraunt of all time in Berkeley. Though the exterior of…read morethe restaraunt is unassuming, and the building itself is quite small with limited seating, the interior is still very clean and neat, and the workers are very nice. I placed an online order for the C Chicken Momos and the Garlic Cheese Naan, which were both phenomenal. The naan was some of the best I've ever had. It was so fluffy, thick, and pillowy soft, and was not overly charred/thin or too crispy like other naan. Just pure doughy goodness. There was also a perfect amount of cheese filling--enough that you got the subtle kick of milky acidity, but not too overpowering. The naan itself was also not too greasy, and the garlic flavor was very aromatic. You could also taste a hint of the slight tartness from (I'm assuming) the yogurt used to make the naan. The "C" Chicken Momos came with eight large pieces, which is definitely enough to fill you up. The sauce tasted like a classic sweet-and-sour sauce with a very mild and pleasant spice. Also, because the dumplings were fried, they were crispy despite being covered in sauce, but still had a bit of the nice chew you would get from a steamed momo skin. The fillings themselves were also super flavorful: you get a herbal and fresh taste from the ginger, which balanced the tanginess of the sauce so the meal did not feel too heavy, and the subtle nuttiness and pepperiness of cumin in each bite. The dumplings also had some warm broth in them, which is perfect for a cold day. The prices are fair too. You can often find small discounts on Snackpass or delivery apps like GrubHub. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend!
