The previous notable items (congee, cinnamon roll) are gone, and what remain are pretty typical breakfast items -- variations on eggs or pancake/waffle. Went on a Sunday around 12:30pm and it was comfortably busy. No line, and we got seated right away. The interior is vibey and I loved it. It really represents the Asian-American fusion concept well, and I even got a glimpse of the outdoor patio area which looked just as charming. One thing to note-- it gets pretty echoey inside once the place fills up, which made conversation a little difficult. Cute space though, just something to be aware of. Service and wait time were both average. The food, unfortunately, was a bit underwhelming for me. I got the chicken and waffles; the chicken looked great, but it was under seasoned and lacked flavor. My friend who ordered the chicken and biscuits felt the same about the chicken, but she actually loved the biscuits. Another friend got a burger and thought it was just okay. I was really excited for the tiramisu french toast, and while it was tasty, it didn't really taste like tiramisu. Cute little brunch spot with unique mango sticky rice matchas and filling comfort food entrees. Golden pancakes are thick and buttery and have a nice bite to them. Chicken and waffles and chicken and biscuits were pretty good and their take on biscuits are flat and almost look like focaccia and come with a side of gravy. They do charge 50 cents for any sort of hot sauce (not included even if you order fried chicken) and when they mistakenly put an additional mimosa down on the table, the server mentioned he'd still charge us for it if he left it there. Our first experience with The Peach on Lakeshore was fantastic. The food was so good that we were excited to order again. Unfortunately, every DoorDash order since then has been disappointing because something has been missing each time. Our second order arrived with several missing items. We decided to give them another chance and kept this order as simple as possible by ordering just two meals. One of them was the Chicken & Biscuits, and we even paid extra to have gravy packaged on the side, which was offered as an option when ordering. The gravy was left out completely, making the meal incomplete. I could have simply requested a refund through DoorDash, but I chose to call the restaurant because my goal was to bring attention to what seems to be a recurring issue with their delivery orders. I was hoping they would take the feedback seriously and improve the experience for future customers. Instead, I was told the gravy would be refunded, but that refund has not been processed from the restaurant's end. At this point, it's difficult not to feel like DoorDash orders receive less care and attention than dine-in orders. Delivery customers are still paying customers. We should receive complete, accurate meals just like anyone eating in the restaurant. If delivery orders can't be prepared with the same level of attention, it may be worth reconsidering offering that service until the process is more reliable. The frustrating part is that the food itself is genuinely good. Our first experience proved that. We wanted to keep supporting this restaurant, but after multiple delivery orders with missing items, it's becoming hard to justify giving it another chance. read more

Went for breakfast with my son (8 years old)Saturday July 11. Ordered the Biscuits and Fried Chicken with gravy on the side and a guava juice my son ordered the golden pancake with a hot chocolate. The Peach at Night knocks it out of the park. Having a secret menu item is pure marketing genius, and the fact that it was utterly exquisite makes me 100% sure I'll go back again. This was the best fried fish I've ever had. It tasted phenomenal on its own but then I started adding the sauces and the Thai basil and it just kept getting better! The braised lamb neck was unique and exciting to eat. I really enjoyed the sauce it came with. I wish the roti came on the side but that's just because I love a crunch. The wings are HUGE! Once I saw char sui toast, I knew I had to get it. And it was so good! The pork belly was meaty with the right amount of fat to keep it juicy. The caramelization of the maple char sui glaze added a smoky sweetness. The acidity from the tomatoes balanced the fattiness of the pork belly. The egg, kewpie mayo, and avocado altogether added a creamy richness that didn't overwhelm the toast. And I liked that it came with salad because the fresh greens were needed after the heftiness of this toast. I also got a matcha mojito, which was invigorating on a hot day. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet and it looked nice enough, but inside there was barely any ham, almost like they forgot it. My friend ordered the chicken biscuit breakfast, and it came out cold, which was disappointing. Drinks were another issue. I ordered an iced tea and it came in a small cocktail-style glass filled with ice. It couldn't have been more than 6 ounces, and for $5 I expected a normal glass. To make it worse, when I asked for a refill I was told there were no free refills. That really surprised me, especially given the tiny size of the original glass. Service wasn't great either. The restaurant wasn't busy, but it was hard to get our server's attention. She walked by our table a few times without even looking over. I just wanted hot sauce and another drink but had to flag her down eventually. The final frustration was the bill. For just two of us, an 18% tip was automatically added without a word. When they brought the payment device, it popped up asking for another tip on top, which felt pretty sneaky.
