I brought my C300 in for service, upon picking the vehicle up I noticed the right, front passenger side wheel and tire was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. After several attempts to have the wheel and tire repaired due to their negligence during the after service test drive (that we didn't opt for or was told it would be driven), unfortunately Trevor refused to make this right. Additionally, I asked to see the before pictures and video that was mentioned on the phone, but was told there wasn't any. Any time a car goes in for service, a detailed report is completed by the technician, but I was told they do not do this. That's a bit concerning to me. Needless to say, be careful getting your car serviced here.

In Sept of '24, I first brought the car to Rennen Imports for A/C service…read more In the process of diagnosing the issue, Stephen suggested I repair other needed maintenance-related issues as well as what was believed to be a lower compressor line on the A/C. After returning home from these repairs, I noticed grease splatter and leaking from the cv axles. This was taken care of on an additional visit at no cost to me. Then in Jan '25, I returned to have the A/C looked at again (for the original issue) and some new clunking noises that had surfaced from front end work. This time I'm told there is no visible issues with the A/C and the clunking noises could be anything. With the mis-diagnoses of the A/C, clunking issues, and leaking of the axle, I've decided that I can no longer trust the "guessing and wanting to throw parts at it", that Stephen made reference to. I will no longer need servicing at Rennen Imports.

I would steer clear of this place. Anything but honest. The first time I tried this place, I went…read morein because my car was making a noise. They told me I needed new tires, and alignment. Keep in mind I just put new tire on my car a year ago and I mainly work from home. I questioned the guy on why he recommended new tires when I literally got them a year ago... he said the tread was bad. I left and went to a tire shop. They said my tires are great and I just needed an alignment done and to tighten lug nuts. Never had a problem since. I went there a second time( fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me), out of desperation. My car AC stopped working and needed someone to take a look. They looked at it and quoted me a couple grand to fix it .... (Which is close to the full value of my car). I went to a different mechanic , and explained my situation. He looked at the car and kept it overnight. Minor leak that was fixed, and I was out of there for $200. "Honest" 1 wanted me to get a new compressor and evaporator and more. Then whe I asked a breakdown of how much labor costs per hour, he said it varies.... I've never herd that before. I also had a loose bolt that connects the sway bar to the suspension I asked them to tighten bc of a noise and they said that wasn't it. I went home and tightened it myself and the noise was gone. I should have trusted my gut and never went back after the first experience but I usually don't judge a place with one visit. This time I wish I had. I would not recommend this place. Please do your research better than I did when picking a place to service your car.
