Service was fine, but we went inside to order as we were in a hurry and needed the restroom as well. Once we ordered, it seemed that the kitchen only worked on drive thru orders and the dine in orders were not coming out. At least three orders took a full 30-40 minutes from the time of purchase on the receipt to leave the kitchen, and based on the atmosphere inside, we were not alone. The food was also just fine. Would not recommend based on extremely slow service at a place where you want to be out fast, this close to the Interstate. It was 10:34am and they open at 10:30am; we could visibly see workers inside doing their job, but no one in that entire restaurant answered the Drive Thru. We finally walk inside and as she's taking our order she answers to someone else at the drive thru. Note we looped around like three times for the drive thru and no answer. Very accommodating and even gave my service puppy an ice cream small cup! prefer their fast food over other fast food services and who doesn't like to end with some ice cream! Service was a bit slower than other ones I've been to but it was lunch time and pretty busy so you expect them to be busy. Even if it was slower on a not so busy day I'd still prefer to go to a Dairy Queen. Only reason I mark it down a star is the main guy taking orders looked completely disinterested and didn't seem to want to be there compared to the rest of the employees. I called and requested a cake for a special birthday party. I had to drive more than an hour out of my to go get the cake. When I arrived, they had closed early and just stuck a note on the door! They had my phone number and COULD have called me to tell me they had decided to close early. Instead, I drove more than an hour and then was left scrambling to try to find a cake for the party. We arrived at 9:25 one morning and waited until they opened ever so patiently then by 9:32 we had decided to call the restaurant to let them know we were there. The manager proceeded to tell me they did not open for a while and refused to take my order. As we were leaving we watched the man behind us order and get food immediately after we were denied service. We then went back through the drive through to see what was going on and the manager was so rude and the other employee was as well when we tried to order a burger and she said the grills were not on yet and it would be another 15 minutes, mind you by this time it is 9:45. Love my Dairy Queen! The young adults that work there are always wonderful. They are fast and efficient. My favorite to order is the blizzard, but can't go wrong with hamburgers and fries and the coffee drinks, don't forget the coffee drinks! Way to go DQ!! read more

Wife and I stopped here today for ice cream and may have been best made to order Blizzard we have had. Mine was Butterfingers, requested minimal stir, and that was what I got. Your typical Dairy Queen, which is a compliment. It was clean, had parking, and food was good. It's July and they were slammed with travelers just like ourselves. Only complaint is there is only ONE stall in the ladies bathroom. So if another traveler has an upset tummy you're out of luck on going to the rest room. Other than that very nice. read more

Let me just start by saying...TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES. My two friends and I went to Dairy Queen tonight in the drive thru on a Thursday night. My friend asked the worker who answered the drive thru for two separate orders, and she replied with "ummm...yeah." (She used "ummm" and "uhhhh" throughout the entire order process.) Very unprofessional. Even more disappointing, after she took the first order, we started the second one and asked for an order of chili cheese fries and a large coke. She said, "umm. I have a large coke and a chili cheese dog, anything else for you?" And we replied with, "No ma'am we said chili cheese FRIES." She replied with, "so you want fries with your Chili cheese dog?". A little agitated, we said, "No ma'am, an order of chili cheese FRIES." After a moment and a long pause, the girl said "hold on just a minute." After a few moments she said "okay so I have chili cheese fries and a coke. Anything else?" We told her no and drove up to the window. She opened the window and asked for the payment for the first order. We handed her the cash and she shut the window. About 4 mins later she came back to the window and handed us the first order, and said "have a good night!". Confused, we asked for the second order, and she replied with "Wait, what did you have?" We told her and she asked for the cash. About 5 minutes later she handed us the chili cheese fries, and she once again told us to have a good night and shut the window without handing us the coke. She came back to the window with a confused look on her face, and asked if she had forgotten anything. We told her that we were missing our drink, and she went to grab it. This is where the story gets completely disgusting. I watched her make my drink, and I noticed that not only did she not fill my drink all the way, but she BLEW the foam off the top of my coke. That was so unsanitary and I am dumbfounded. I am completely disgusted and disappointed with the lack of detail this employee, Bianca, had in taking our order. Once again.
