I don't ever write reviews and I actually just signed up on this just to write this review ..this Dairy Queen here is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Waited in the drive through for over 15 minutes just to pull up to the window and see 6 employees just standing around. Then when they finally take my money they tried giving me back incorrect change. And to top it all off with me already being hangry and all they gave me the wrong order and it tasted old and was definitely not hot by any means. I can say I will not be going back. read more

My husband went into order an Alaskan cod. Multiple employees did not know where to find it on the computer screen. They kept asking one person after another. Finally they called in middle aged man who was the cook if he knew where it was that. He said yes and show them but then added , " but I would not eat it." After a little bit my husband canceled his order and said he did not want that card after the comment from the cook. The cook overheard my husband statement and replied, "Good decision." My husband ended up getting a hamburger instead. The entire environment was chaotic and nerve-racking and no one seem to know what they were doing. read more

This facility is a joke. After waiting about 25 minutes for simple meals. The order was extremely wrong. I went back in and staff in the kitchen argued over how the Meal supposed to be made. They didn't know how to make a simple double cheeseburger. So after waiting another 15 minutes for them to put another Patty on the burger I ask for a refund because I still couldn't get it done. couldn't do it without the receipt of which I already threw away because I figured it was easy for these idiots to make a simple meal. I ate at Dairy Queen the other day and it was great, I had the $6 1/3 pound cheese burger meal and it was so good. The people working that day were really nice and friendly, they did a good job and I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. The sundae that came with the meal was well made and they smothered it in strawberries I love when they do that :) Thank you Dairy Queen for a great meal and an awesome time. :) :) :) read more

I use to love this place but I had a cockroach crawl out of the table napkin dispenser up my arm. I have not been back since. I will go to Marble slab better anyway. If I could give zero stars, I would. I walked in to a busy line, not the problem. The smell of raw sewage hit me in the face to the point I lost my appetite. It's not the average "someone used the bathroom and it wafted out" smell. It was like I was standing over an open sewer line. It's sad that Dairy Queen has raised the price of their single and double cheeseburgers again, when they don't even toast their buns anymore. They are very reluctant to even give you a bag, or a lid for your Blizzard cup, when you're sitting in the drive-thru driving your car. They act indignant when you ask them to wipe off the ice cream running down the side of your cup, when they chose not to wipe it off to begin with. Apparently their managers are being cheap about paper costs, yet they always insisted that you take their 3 foot long paper receipt that you don't want. read more

Do not go to dairy queen in poplar bluff. I don't expect a lot from fast food. But the bacon should not look/be undercooked or over cooked, dried out and hard. The fries should be semi fresh and not dried out. When I ask for cheese on my burger I expect there to be cheese on the burger not half off the patty just thrown on there. The lettuce was wilted and not at all appetizing. The buns shouldn't be almost mush either. Grilled chicken should not be dried out to the point of crunchiness. Basically everything we ordered has been under a heat lamp for at least an hour. When I spend $20 for food I expect it to be decent. read more

The Sikeston DQ could teach these folks how to cook. We ordered the 4 piece chicken basket. The fries were stale and cold. The gravy was cool and had the consistency of water. The toast was not toast. It was bread with butter on it. At least the chicken was good. If I was the manager, I would be ashamed of the quality of the food. read more

Had the turkey BLT and was very satisfied. I have had better French fries but since they don't carry tator tots I guess it will work.
