We love DQ and this location does a great job with all my high maintenance requests!! (That's what happens when you used to work at a DQ!) They can get extremely busy really fast, but the staff does a great job keeping everything under control. Placed a mobile order and it said it was ready for pickup. Went inside, waited at the pick up counter and waited for at least 15min. Ended up going to the cashier and asked about my order. They said, "oooops" and didnt even apologize. Will not be going here again. read more

It's a well run local franchise with a wonderful dog-friendly policy. The franchise owner will often be on-site and walk around chatting with customers. The staff (mostly high school students) have been well trained and are attentive and friendly. It's good for a nice little snack that won't break the bank. The only downside is that it's Dairy Queen, it's a bummer they don't have real hard ice cream and a full non fast food menu. The franchise owners are doing everything right and could do well diversifying. (Hint, hint - Papillion needs a sit-down restaurant). read more

This DQ has been here what seems like forever. It was here way back in the late 80s. It used to only be open during warm weather. And it was always packed with kids from the next door jr high school. Now it's open year-round, which is a fabulous change. It also seems cleaner now. And I appreciate that they always seem to have my fav, Buster Bars, in stock. (Something I cannot say about other DQ locations.) This is an old-school DQ, meaning you won't find any food served at this location. There's also no drive-thru. read more

Long lines, terrible non-ice cream menu selection, orders are usually wrong and we've been given cold food on more than one occasion. We came here because we had location specific groupons, but now that they're used up, I don't see us going back. read more

Such a lovely mom-and-pop Dairy Queen! While they have modernized some over the years, they have done so while keeping the atmosohere of nostalgia intact. The staff is always friendly and the location is prime, though the one drawback is that they don't have a drive-thru. It's such a busy place that they limit parking to 30 minutes, so you definitely want to get in and get out. But their being busy is definitely a good thing! It certainly shows that I'm not the only one who feels that this is a wonderful place to stop for a treat. My favorite? Definitely their Chocolate Mint Dilly Bar! read more

This dairy queen is always so dirty, and has such slow service. Not sure why it's so hard to keep it clean it's a pretty small place! No drive thru which should also make things easier but obviously not for this place. I guess I will be avoiding this place and make the extra drive to 72nd street location. Anyone know why dairy queen is so expensive now days? Almost $6 for a large blizzard, (which is the size a medium used to be a decade ago), plus I can get a half gallon of my favorite ice cream for around $4. read more

I usually like this Dairy Queen because of the outdoor tables. Grabbing some DQ and eating it outside is something my family does now and again and it is always enjoyable. This time however we stopped in about a half hour from closing and you could tell that the kids were running the show (I didn't see anyone that looked to be in their 20's). They were out of chocolate ice cream, waffle cones and brownie topping. The staff was sarcastic and borderline rude. They also already had half the doors locked which made for an awkward and embarrassing exit. Make sure an adult is around to keep the kids in line and I'll have a better review to leave next time. read more

I ordered two chili cheese dogs and both were cold and asked for them to add onions and could tell there were any added. The chili was bland and the hotdogs were small And over th price. I had chocolate malts and it did not have enough chocolate in it it was bland. Truly a waste of money read more

Why does a story post its open hours? To let paying customers know when they r open right?!?!?!!!!!! Not once not twice but three times we stop in for a late night treat at 9:30pm and we r told they r closed. The posted hours say they r open till 10pm so why r we swing told they r closed at 9:30pm. DQ is always a good idea!!! Even my dogs know what DQ means and they run around the house like fools when one of mentions going there. Recently I ordered a cake. There were some issues that were corporate problems, not local and I didn't think I would get the cake. The staff went WAY above and beyond and after a lot of effort on their parts, we got our ice cream cake for the Daytona 500!!!! Stop and see these awesome people! Pierce does a great job of recruiting and training local kids to run the show. This is a great investment in the Papillion community, strong economic presence while also developing work ethic of the high school kids. The kids are respectful and honest, they care about what they are doing and it is GREAT experience. Way to go Papillion DQ for staying true to American values while also pushing amazing ice cream. This is by far the busiest place in town almost always, yet they get you in and out fast, really impressive. read more
