It's been awhile since our last visit to this DQ and at the time it was getting quite rough. They were always out of stuff, it was usually dirty, the bathrooms were filthy and out of soap and tp and there was usually a teenager behind the counter that wasn't sure what was going on or didn't want to be there. Today the place was CLEAN, well stocked, the bathrooms were clean and stocked and there was a friendly, knowledgeable ADULT woman working the counter who did a great job. My only comment would be to turn up the heat a bit. It's chilly to sit and eat your over cream in store. read more

Disappointing when you try and order 3 things and they are out of all of them but the guy (only employee working) saved the show with his recommendations. I know this is a small operation but it would be nice if the staff could have more help. On this busy day we were happy we got there before a crowd. We tried going to DQ on 8/14.....out of EVERYTHING! Out of all blizzard items except for snickers and heath. Out of PB Parfait cups. Then tried again to go on 8/16 for PB parfaits.....STILL out of brownies (not that we needed those) AND out of peanuts. Unbelievable! I don't understand the ordering, that items are so close before they're re-ordered for the store. I would think that planning would be a little better! I was in food service for 25 years and if we didn't get items on our delivery we went to the store ---Walmart is in the same parking lot!!! Send employees shopping! I walked in and there was no one there. I was told I had to wait because she had gotten a delivery. Then a second person came up and I tried to order again. The First Lady said she couldn't wait on me because she needed her help first. I finally left after neither one would help me and the First Lady with glasses said, Have a nice day, in a very sarcastic tone. I normally go in there 4 or 5 times a month with my grandchildren and their friends. Never again! From now on we will go to Lyon drug. He greets everyone with a smile and great service. This place was absolutely filthy, had a 45 minute wait, and messed up my order so, bad and put it under the wrong name. Then didn't give me my drinks or forks till I asked 30 mins later and didn't give me everything, had to keep asking for the next part of my order, while sitting at an uncleaned table. While on vacation in Steamboat, we stopped for ice cream in the afternoon after fishing all morning on 6/20/20. We so badly were hoping for the yummy blizzards we get back home. Unfortunately we were greeted by rude staff who had no interest in cleaning the tables inside or outside of the shop. We also used the restrooms to wash up after ordering and were disgusted by what we saw. The ice cream was good, otherwise I would have given it 1 star. Clearly the staff here could care less about the cleanliness or service they provide. Even though Covid has caused some changes in how businesses run, that is no excuse for the attitudes and filth we saw. read more

Yikes. We ordered two cones and a blizzard and waited over 20 minutes. On top of that, the two employees were cursing loudly while making the orders ahead of us. It really seemed like they had no idea what they were doing since the cones and blizzard looked like they were prepared by a 6 year old. I was inside the door waiting to be served while the DQ worker was finishing up making up an order in back area. after walking up toward front he told me he will not serve me because they close at 9:00pm. I looked at my phone and it was exactly 9:00. So I was there at least prior to that time. He said he needed to get out of there. I think the door should have been locked or a sign displayed that they were closed or perhaps he should NOT have closed early. Terible customer service. There was a ten year old behind the counter serving people and he was super unprofessional and rude. When we ordered he at first said no. Then he was putting bags of caramel on his head calling it head caramel and asked if we wanted it. On top of this the other employees did not care and were joking around. Generally this Dairy Queen does a nice job. However, I can't help but feel bad for the one employee that is working by himself. I have seen this situation more than once at this location. It only takes a couple customers to overwhelm the solo staff member. I hope that the management understands that this situation is a morale killer. Since being here, I have watched more than half of the line turn and walk out. Bad business. You have to pay people to stand around. I'm shocked that the employee is still here smiling. Hope that you find more staff. It's a question I ask myself before going in. If the line is long, I walk out. Total bummer read more

My volleyball team came in and wanted to buy food but FIRST! They denied us that. SECOND the cashier rolled his eyes when my teammate went to order. Then he denied the next teammate an order at all. You denies me rights as an American woman in USA. If it's the race issue because I'm Hawaiian then you're quite screwed up. Very clean, friendly. Cakes are awesome. Good thick blizzard's. I've been to a lot of DQ's, and this one is rate first on my list.
