They at least have vehicles worth stopping to look at unlike the ones you're selling. nothing but second hand vehicles that should never be sold to anyone. should really consider other options before stopping by this place. Mo is a fraud. He presents kind, friendly and genuine. He certainly fooled me. I purchased a 2008 4Runner two weeks ago, mentioning twice that the main reason I wanted to get back into a 4Runner was to have 4WD for off-roading and winter destinations. It was not until I purchased the vehicle that I learned it was 2WD. I could have done more research to verify this so I am to blame as well, but Mo did not stop or correct me about this detail along the way. He did, however, mention that his mechanic checked everything out to make sure it was in good shape, and I took him at this work. I just off the phone with my mechanic at Toyota Lexus Care in Kearny Mesa and the amount of work this truck needs is remarkable. Least of which, are front and rear breaks which were nearly metal on metal. The rotors needed to be replaced as well. The cabin filter is filthy and apparently the hood and roof have been repainted. I'm not sure how this guy sleeps at night but he certainly is one to give a bad name to all sales people in the user car business. Steer clear from here!! read more

Prefacing this review with a comment that the owner/salesman is likeable, very personable, and seems to be a kind honest man. Being in the business for as long as he has been it is difficult for me to understand why he didn't see the obvious clues I as a non-mechanical person noticed. Unfortunately I needed to purchase this vehicle remotely, am on an out of town project and needed a daily driver so flew back home to San Diego with the intent to road trip it back to the project site after visiting with family for a few days and did not test drive it myself before signing the agreement to purchase. I am still in SD going on two weeks while repairs are being done. I feel burned badly and have now shelled out more than $19k that I did not have on a vehicle worth less than $8k per KBB and the banks. Yes I understand it is a used vehicle however I thought even used vehicles were inspected and I always hope people are upfront about things they are offering up for sale. Shame on me for being trusting and shame on him. Flew in and signed the paperwork on a Thursday. Also purchased a 3rd party warranty I was told covered everything front to back. Come to find out this was also an untruth. Drove off the lot, on the freeway the front end had shaking. Went from Mission Gorge Rd to Spring Valley the truck went into blinking O/D light on the dash so I pulled off the closest exit. It would not reset until turned off and back on again. Then proceeded the remaining 4 miles. As I went up the driveway (not steep by any means) it seemed like it bound up, not in 4x4, and would not go. Being used and "As Is" the next morning I called a trusted shop I have frequented for over a decade when suspension service was needed. Minimum to be safe on the road using OEM parts $2600. Checked with Ford service who quoted the same needed service but at a higher cost. When they were done I took it to an AAMCO who had excellent review to have an eval because of the slipping. Trani was throwing a code. Required rebuild of transmission and converter. $2900 None of it was covered by the "3rd party warranty I was told covered everything front to back". I did not expect this much out of pocket expense, feel completely violated, and I am stuck. In the worst possible way. Future buyers beware - If you do purchase from here take it to a shop for inspection before signing the papers. Even if it cost you a little bit of $ it will be worth the time. Do not buy from this dealer. Sold me a truck with blown head gasket and refuses to repair. The vehicle was advertised in " excellent condition". Numerous other repairs done were a coolant flush (due to brown coolant), master cylinder & ABS replacement (due to soft brake pedal), 1 fuel injector and 8 spark plugs replaced (due to "service engine soon" light activationS). The 3rd time "service engine soon" light came on, the blown head gasket was discovered. Dealer told me to return my truck his mechanic. Five days later I found out nothing was done because dealer did not want to pay. Picture for this review is the dash with "service engine soon" light. I HAVE TO RETRACT MY REVIEW A MONTH AGO, MO the owner tried to swindle $488.00 more out of me for registration after I already paid him sales tax and reg fees cash almost two months ago. The DMV charged him $629 for registration, Im guessing its because new law Jan. 2021 about used dealers having to pay Sales Tax directly to DMV. I paid him 606.38 sales tax plus $156 registration fees. and he got charged $629? Heck no, so after arguing with him he cussed me out, and my husband and kicked us off his lot but gave me the registration sticker. I am now in contact with DMV requesting detailed fees and also wit BBB, to file a complaint, and will contact State Board of Equalization about taxes paid on vehicle. read more

I was interested in a vehicle that they posted on OfferUp (I didn't know it was a small dealership until I came to look at the car). I was working with one of the salesmen who seemed nice enough. I took the car to the mechanic at the Honda dealership (per the salesman's request. He would not allow me to use my own mechanic) to get checked out and they found almost $800 worth of repairs to be done. Plus,the diagnostic alone was $270, my own mechanic would've done it for much cheaper. I went back to talk to the salesman but he was gone for the day. There was just this older guy there. I believe he is the owner (didn't introduce himself), and he was extremely rude. He barely listened to what I was saying, kept talking over me, wouldn't look at the paperwork I brought from Honda service and behaved as if I was wasting his time. His attitude and demeanor were horrendous, rude, angry, just plain mean. I don't know how he gets any cars sold at all. He wouldn't negotiate, even though I had cash on hand, and basically told me to go buy a car somewhere else. What kind of car dealership tells buyers with cash on hand to go buy a car somewhere else?! And won't even try to negotiate? DON'T do business with these people!  PS. The salesman messaged me the following day to accept the cash offer I tried to make to the owner when I was there. I didn't bother responding. Gao TO DR CAR FIRST!!!! Mo is an amazing sweet man!!! He got me financed when nobody else would even consider it! I spent a couple of hours down the street only to be disappointed in the end and left at 8:00 at night. Thats when I saw Dr. Car and tgought I have to try since I was with out a car fir a week. My credit showed 2 repos as of 2014 and he still worked his magic! Low down payment and kept me within my my budget for monthly payments. He got me in a great Mazda 6. There was a noise coming from the front end and he is taking care of that. I am at the shop right now. Car sales people in my opinion are typically shadey o dont really care about your needs. They sold me a lemon, they were decieving. They rolled the windows all the down so when I test drove it I wouldn't know the motor was going out. The cd player didn't work, they said it needed the factory code, which it really was fried. So when I went to have an audio shop install an aftermarket one they said the speaker wires were all shot, so I have no radio or anything. Also I test drove it during traffic hour but the next day i brought it home after purchase, it had a gribding sound which I couldn't hear due to high traffic by their area, I took it to the shop and the break pads were warped, the cv boits were dry and busted, I had to get. A new brake assembly. Went to inform them and they wanted nothing to do with me after the deal was closed. They just wanted the money and are frauds. After 3 months I went to get an oil change and they said the drain plug been stripped and I needed a new oil pan and this car had costed so much money and trouble since I've got it. read more

I have since received 4 phone calls 1 being to my work which is highly inappropriate considering I have not spoken with them previously. I have also received several texts after I asked Mo not to call my work. I replied to the text and advised that I would not be interested. I went here yesterday, almost bought a car. EXTREMELY glad I didn't. This dude, Mo, overprices all his cars like crazy. I looked at the Kelley blue book market value price for the 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid I almost got, and it was listed at $5735-$7362. He was originally trying to sell the car for $10,000. My dad got him to get down to $8595, but that's still more than what this car is worth, even considering the miles (96k). THE SKETCHIEST PART OF ALL that I'd like to warn everyone about: when I asked for an official car fax report on the car, I was given a shady, not very professional looking sheet with green check marks that Mo described to be as "similar to a car fax." Really? This "report" didn't have any records of maintenance, or any records of anything! I thought things over overnight and decided this place was shady as heck.
