We test drove a 2001 Ford Expedition; the business owner (TK) let us put 500$ down for him to hold it for two weeks until Pops flew out. We found it a bit strange that we couldn't use a check to pay for the vehicle but debit card was okay. When the plate came, he let us pick it up even though the vehicle isn't in our names. After a few minor fluid (oil, radiator, differential, etc) and part changes (wiper blades, etc), Pops was ready to drive it home. My husband and I were in the market for a "new to us" car. We had a specific car in mind and saw several posts online for various dealers and private sellers and came across Xclusive Motors. From the photos and carfax provided online, the car was in pristine condition and had a very reasonable price point. Off we went to pay them a visit to see how it looked in real life. I let Chris know that we were coming and the car was waiting for us in the front when we arrived. Honestly. If I didn't already know it was a used car, I wouldn't have been able to tell. The car was beautiful inside and out with great mileage and looked like a brand new car with how absolutely immaculate it was. Sure, a beautiful car with great mileage for the age and the price point are important... but how does it run? How is the engine? How expensive is this car going to be for repairs etc. if I decide to take the plunge? That's what is most important. We did a test drive and it sounded and felt great. i asked if we could have a mechanic look at it first to help us with the decision. They helped us with arranging with a mechanic that works exclusively with Mercedes (which we paid $135 which was reasonable since we were requesting it above and beyond what they already provided as details). They did a full work up checking everything on machines, putting it on the lift, driving it, and the reports came out with only a few cosmetic issues. Chris offered to have those fixed for us which he really didn't have to since it was stuff like windshield wiper replacement and nothing safety wise. We decided to handle it ourselves since everything was minor and he negotiated that into our price. Chris took care of our financing and found us a great deal. It helps I'm sure that we have great credit, but he really did put in a lot effort to make sure we got the best percentage possible. We decided to go for it and paperwork went very smoothly. What this all comes down to is that we got a fantastic car from Xclusive Motors with a great experience to go with it from start to end. I have very good intuition about people and Chris and Mo were very friendly and answered every question and concern we had without any hesitation and very honestly. They were VERY low pressure and there wasn't a second that we felt they were pushing us even with Chris being completely honest when he felt that the warranty or other extras would be nice but really weren't necessary. These are things that they could make extra on by selling, but he let me know about them and told me his honest opinion of whether I really needed it or not. They are honest and their pricing is already good so there isn't a lot of negotiation with price but the prices they offer are already reasonable and aligned with kbb and the value of the cars. I absolutely recommend this dealership and would without hesitation buy another car from Chris and Mo if I needed one in the future. I would even recommend them to my family and close friends...which says a lot for my trust in their integrity. I first dealt with Xclusive Motors ( Chris, Allen, mainly) in 2017. I called from Los Angeles in reference to an X6 2010 BMW. I dealt with 3 dealerships in L.A. to no avail. As I inquired about this BMW, I remembered being told "You'll have the best buying experience of your life". It truly was, they even offered to pick me up should I decide to take Amtrack from L.A. to San Deigo. My wife had recently purchased a new vehicle, so I advised them I'd have no problem getting there. We arrived nearly an hour before closing and they didn't even rush with my selection. They took time in explaining everything as well as insisting I drive the vehicle while they gave me plenty time. My 3-year-old (at the time) grandson had a blast sitting inside a Maserati blowing it's horn while I completed financial paperwork. I recently stopped by this establishment to check out a few options. Overall the dealership is clean, nicely maintained and has a fair amount of polish. So to the particulars: The highs. No pressure, Chris offered us keys and advice if requested but nothing else. He was a confident, no pressure salesman that had clear knowledge of the cars on his lot. They specialize on German and other luxury cars so the lot was full of high end motors. The cars on the lot provided something for those looking to get into late model luxury car for a decent price. They also had quite a number of cars to choose from. So many that they don't have any customer parking... The lows. You have to do your homework. These cars are not cheap to produce, not cheap new and not cheap to maintain. They are beautifully engineered so it takes a savvy buyer to pick out the particulars that are not so obvious while you are being impressed by glossy paint and a degreased engine bay. I am in no way saying that the folks here are trying to get over on you but I found a number of cars with a clean carfax in the window that had signs of paintwork as well. They didn't shy away from any questions about paintwork and were very up front about any reconditioning done. Ask questions and be mindful of the fact that no one knows everything. Over all, I found them to reputable and a dealership that I would purchase a car from. I didn't this time as they didn't have what I was looking for at this time but I will be keeping them in mind for the future. read more

Just a bit of background on myself, I have purchased over a dozen cars over the years and in this day and age I use the internet and Cars.com to search for a vehicle. The process takes anywhere from a month to several months as I decide what options. color. mileage and of course price limits. Went in on a Sunday, usually dealerships can't do business but called navy federal over the phone and got approved for it right there on the spot. I was told he would call me back, never heard from them again. All they had to say was "No we can't finance you". Instead they like to ignore calls and give potential customers the run around. Horrible experience and waste of time and money. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I am not sure even if they are doing business legally. I saw a good deal online with them so I went to them to buy car. I liked car, but I wanted to take car to my mechanic for inspection. I spent 115$ for just inspection. Allen kept report of buyer's inspection. Now Very next day they called me and said, they can not sell me car because THEY DIDN'T HAVE TITLE OF CAR. That's bullshit... HOW CAN YOU TRY TO SELL CUSTOMER A CAR, IF YOU DON'T HAVE TITLE??? They also said that wait for two weeks and they will try to get title... but even after three weeks no follow up from them. They promised me to find a similar car and failed to kept that. I SPENT 115$ AND 4 WEEKS JUST FOR NOTHING.... THEY EVEN REFUSED ME TO REFUND THAT MONEY. IF YOU DON'T WANT SUCH HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THEN STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. read more

Took my car here to get appraised and possibly sell. Don't know his name he was tall and out of shape, he came over to me right as I pulled up. My vehicle was a 2019 Toyota 86 with 29000 miles, clean CARFAX with two fender benders. This guy immediately started saying how it was basically a piece of shit and that he wouldn't even bother buying it because no body would want it. I told him my asking price was 23k and he just laughed and said that was impossible, and kept saying I was dreaming over and over. He was unnecessarily rude for little to no reason. He told me I'd be lucky if I got 17k from Carmax. He then proceeded to point to his beat up 2001 mini van and told me all the reasons on why that car was more reliable and worth way more money then what I had. So I took it to Chevrolet in mission valley the next day and low and behold they bought it for $22,500 and are now selling it for $26k. Moral of the story if you end up with the guy I had, expect a very negative experience and a very dishonest asshole. read more

I was in-line to buy a Jeep Wrangler (loved it) and the dealer said they would investigate the cost of repairs before I bought it (it had some minor rust and the heater on the driver's was not working). I had to call each day to get an update. After a week, they had the estimated total and sold it the night before. Terrible waste of time.
