    I recently purchased a 2022 Prius Prime from Luxury Auto Imports. It was an interesting experience…read moreto say the least. Mo, the owner was a very nice guy to deal with. The car has a salvage title which may be off putting to most, but I'm satisfied that the car I got was restored to original condition, the body is perfect, everything works as it should and I'm pleased with the purchase. Mo went out of his way to make sure I got all the required parts, reimbursing me for a couple of items that I purchased to complete everything the car is supposed to have. When it turned out the rear passenger window wouldn't open, Mo got it fixed within a day. There's a lot to learn about all of the technology that comes with the car. I put it on charge in the evening when rates are low. I'm using 110 V and it takes five hours but it charges when I'm sleeping and is ready when I need to go. I'm averaging 90+ miles /gal. when I drive locally for most daily issues and use the EV setting. My last Prius now has about 105K miles - never any mechanical issue- over the past eleven years, so I'm a big Toyota fan. Check this lot out- lots of great cars. To me it seems that insurance companies total out cars with moderate body damage- giving them salvage titles when they are bought cheaply by lots like Luxury Auto who have shops to completely restore each car. All of Luxury Imports' cars have salvage titles, which if you can get past that- means you can get a great deal on a car that has had some damage and been restored. Well worth checking out!

    AVOID AVOID AVOID I…read morebrought my 73 year-old little old lady friend to buy the clean 2006 Range Rover Sport on the lot. She paid full price, cash for it. It was in good shape but it was filthy, inside and out. So JJ agreed to have it detailed and prepared for pickup 3 days later. When we arrived to pickup the vehicle after two hours of fighting traffic from Orange County, JJ said there was a problem and the vehicle wasn't ready for us. (He couldn't tell me before I left and wasted time and money to get there? Of course not, he could care less, and has no concern for others time schedules.) JJ's excuse was the detail guy pushed all the buttons in the center console and messed up the suspension. Is that possible? Autobaun held onto the vehicle for another week - they had it at Land Rover Carlsbad dealer to reset the suspension. I always had to be the one to initiate communication. JJ's usual response: it's my day off, or "my manager isn't in". He finally delivered it, not on a truck, but they had driven it from SD and used up all the fuel in it. It was also delivered filthy, and DAMAGED. The rubber door liner had a massive gaping hole 6 inches long, which wasn't there when we bought the vehicle. JJ refuses to fix the problem even through the Land Rover dealer in Newport Beach has a $269 repair estimate. JJ says "drive it down here and we'll fix it". Yeah right. Just fix it you GD shister. Fing unbelievable. JJ had multiple chances to make this right. Instead he choose to live up to the po$ used car salesman connotation. This place has no integrity and employs people who echo that mindset. My recommendation is to avoid this place and seek your new ride elsewhere.

We were also told when we signed the contract that we wouldn't have to make our vehicles monthly payment that was due in a week if we traded it in. The payment came out of our account a week later and when we called to get a refund we kept getting the run around for a couple of weeks. Looking at the contract and calling the lender of the vehicle we traded in, we found out that they didn't pay off the vehicle for the correct amount listed on the contract. It's been over a month and we are STILL trying to work out getting our money back. We are not people to write negative reviews but felt this one was warranted.

While the visit began with significant challenges, it concluded with an impressive display of accountability that changed my entire outlook on your dealership. Areas for Operational Improvement I would like to offer constructive feedback regarding the intake process. My appointment was scheduled for 7:30 AM specifically to ensure timely service; however, upon arrival, the service lane lacked clear guidance. With three lanes filling up and service advisors moving between the garage and the vehicles, there was no defined queue management. This resulted in customers being served out of order, rendering the concept of an "appointment" feel ineffective. Furthermore, there was a breakdown in communication regarding the scope of my Lifetime Oil and Filter Change warranty. I had to provide my own documentation to confirm that chassis lubrication was included in my service contract. Additionally, despite scheduling the appointment in advance specifically to allow your team to order parts for my vehicle, the parts were not on-site when I arrived, resulting in an avoidable delay. Commendation for Simona Deloeste Despite these frustrations, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by my advisor, Simona Deloeste. When the parts shortage was discovered, Simona could have easily deflected blame, but instead, she chose a path of radical honesty. She personally apologized and, impressively, took full accountability for the oversight. Her integrity and professionalism completely turned the experience around. She kept me informed throughout the wait and handled a difficult situation with such grace and maturity that she convinced me to maintain my lifetime service contract with your dealership rather than canceling it. Simona is a tremendous asset to DCH Honda of Mission Valley. Her ability to own a mistake and turn a frustrated customer into a loyal one is a rare skill. I requested to speak with a service manager during my visit to share this feedback and recognize Simona's performance, but I was unfortunately unable to connect with leadership. I hope this review reaches the appropriate management so that Simona can be recognized for her integrity and the high standard of service she upholds. I look forward to my next service visit and hope that the operational issues in the service lane are addressed to match the level of excellence Simona brings to your team every day.
