Sure loved that Truck ! May '97 (27 years ago) Hadi Moein at PayKan Auto sold me a beautiful '85 Dodge Power Ram 4x4 short bed 318 small-V8 with 3in lift and 33"ATR wheels. Hadi's brother actually drove up in the truck, and didn't want to sell... but Hadi proclaimed "we run a car dealership not a car collectorship"...and we made the deal. A long wonderful journey,  thank you PayKan Auto. Drove it to all the local off-road spots -several that  Hadi's brother suggested- and down into Mexico's Baja peninsula. Its big all-terrain tires and powerful yet fuel efficient V8 traversed trails and rustic roads with ease and carried us on many camping trips with our tent,...  although it had a tow hitch on bumper also. Sadly I had to give up the truck yesterday Apr24'24 due to circumstances. It was a great truck and i loved owning it for 27-years. Actually, when i called to thank him for selling this wonderful vehicle to me... Hadi remembered and knew the very truck I spoke of. If a car or truck perhaps can, this truck absolutely had a "good spirit". In hind sight, should have brought it to Hadi's shop for repairs. Just 3 days ago, I brought the truck back to the lot to have Javier. Their in-house mechanic replace an axle, complete brakes and wheel hub assemblies, Hadi went everywhere from South Bay to Oceanside on his own time and fuel to get all the parts I needed and allowed me to pick up the truck upon completion and make payments on the work that was done. Me and my brother had a very bad experience here with the owner Hadi. One of his customers named Maria who also happen to be a close friend of his, Hit my car with hers and then when I showed it to him he tried to say that some of the damages where already there. So he basically called me a liar. So I showed him pictures of the car from that week. So then he told me he would order the parts and fix the car for me because she didn't have insurance and he said that he would set her up for a payment plan so that she can pay him every month until she pays it off. He also told me to give him a month because he only has one mechanic working on German cars. I called him a month later, he told me "oh yeah I'm not gonna do that anymore because she hit another car so I have to fix her car again. And now she owes me already too much" Immediately after that, without letting me respondhe starts talking to someone . Fast forward a little bit after this situation she ended up moving away. So the whole time he was just buying her time. This guy is not to be trusted and I would never do business with him again in my life. read more

We came in wanting to buy a decent used car, now when you tell me the car is in good condition, this to me means no repairs needed, we even said that if he would negotiate to drop the price he said no because my cars are perfect! Fine I'm okay with that if it's as good as you say But when we took the car to our trusted mechanic we find out it needs repairs... lots of them. This guy Tried to sell us a car that had $3,000+ worth of repairs!!! Wtf?! That's shady as fuck! He wouldn't negotiate or drop the price so we could afford to buy and repair it ourselves. He wanted his guy to do it. A guy with good integrity would either lower the price to the actual value or fix up the car, to where it doesn't need $3,000 worth of repairs, the fact that they trying to sell it as is, is pretty negligent and unsafe for the next person buying it unaware of these needed repairs. Wow! These guys are great. I live 200 miles away from Paykan and found my soon-to-be truck being advertised on Cars.com. I called and asked a lot of questions, before I committed to the 5 hour train ride to San Diego. The owner, while on vacation in Florida with his family, answered all my questions, sent a carfax report, and even texted itemized breakdown of all charges. The next morning I was on my way to San Diego. I was picked up at the train station in my new truck, and test-drove it back to their lot.
