    We fell in love with our new used 2003 Mazda Protege 5 "Mini Bee" (okay, so we name our cars, yeah, yeah!) on CraigsList. When I called to speak with Dan this morning, he asked me if I was "the lady who called earlier that morning?" I said, "No, that wasn't me." I asked if the 2003 Mazda Protege 5 was still there, and he said yes, but he'd had about 15 phone calls on it today. It was 10:50 a.m. I was in a state of panic. We were way up in Oceanside, and you know I-5 and Saturdays don't mix. It took us an hour to arrive, and the minute we saw the car, we fell hard. Dan was sweet and kind, firm on his price, but the car was worth it. We didn't spend more than 30 minutes before we hopped in the rental to the credit union, only to find they didn't loan on cars past 2004 year. We freaked!! The gal helping us suggested trying Navy Federal Credit Union, and since my son-in-law was a member there, we were able to be sponsored and get in. On the phone as we rushed over with 40 mins. to spare before they closed at 2 pm, I did all the legwork for the new accounts and loan. We arrived and saw Deanna at the Black Mtn. branch, and she whipped us through the process, staying 40 mins. late for us. We left with an approved loan and check in hand, had some lunch and took deep breaths. Then we scooted back over to buy our new little Mini Bee. What a great, exciting, exhausting day, in which Dan was kind and understanding, and shared in our excitement. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts, and can't wait to have adventures in this peppy little great-handling car. What a joyful addition to our family, though it's just the two of us, our grandkids will love it, too. Husband Bob will drive it to work 70 miles a day, and with the very visible bright yellow of it, he's sure to be seen in commuter traffic easily. Thanks again, great doing business with you! It's been our pleasure. Cyrus Auto Sales handles Jeeps, Mazdas and Toyota Prius's, used. Terrific place, and we're happy to have found them and the Mini Bee. :)

As a 67-year-old business owner, I have purchased many vehicles over the years for both personal and business use. Without hesitation, I can say that Miramar Motorsports is one of the most professional, organized, and customer-focused dealerships I have ever worked with anywhere in the country. Miramar Motorsports is a family-owned business, and we had the pleasure of working directly with Ali and Mike. From start to finish, they were friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. They made us feel valued throughout the entire process. The Toyota Sequoia we purchased was exactly as advertised and in outstanding condition. What really impressed me was the level of care and attention they put into preparing their vehicles. Their in-house mechanics thoroughly serviced the vehicle using quality replacement parts. Since the mileage was approaching the manufacturer's recommended timing belt service interval, they proactively replaced the timing belt and addressed other important maintenance items at the same time. They also replaced the water pump, front brakes, and rotors, ensuring the vehicle was ready for years of reliable service. Another thoughtful touch was that they had the catalytic converter stamped for identification purposes in the event it is ever stolen. This demonstrated their commitment to protecting their customers even after the sale. The paperwork process was equally impressive. Everything was handled professionally and presented in a well-organized binder. They took the time to review the Carfax report with us line by line, explaining every detail and answering all of our questions. As an added bonus, they even sent us home with a full tank of gas. Anyone living in California knows that's not a small gesture these days! It's just another example of the extra steps they take to make sure their customers leave completely satisfied. I simply cannot say enough positive things about the way we were treated by everyone at Miramar Motorsports. Their honesty, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction are second to none. While the visit began with significant challenges, it concluded with an impressive display of accountability that changed my entire outlook on your dealership. Areas for Operational Improvement I would like to offer constructive feedback regarding the intake process. My appointment was scheduled for 7:30 AM specifically to ensure timely service; however, upon arrival, the service lane lacked clear guidance. With three lanes filling up and service advisors moving between the garage and the vehicles, there was no defined queue management. This resulted in customers being served out of order, rendering the concept of an "appointment" feel ineffective. Furthermore, there was a breakdown in communication regarding the scope of my Lifetime Oil and Filter Change warranty. I had to provide my own documentation to confirm that chassis lubrication was included in my service contract. Additionally, despite scheduling the appointment in advance specifically to allow your team to order parts for my vehicle, the parts were not on-site when I arrived, resulting in an avoidable delay. Commendation for Simona Deloeste Despite these frustrations, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by my advisor, Simona Deloeste. When the parts shortage was discovered, Simona could have easily deflected blame, but instead, she chose a path of radical honesty. She personally apologized and, impressively, took full accountability for the oversight. Her integrity and professionalism completely turned the experience around. She kept me informed throughout the wait and handled a difficult situation with such grace and maturity that she convinced me to maintain my lifetime service contract with your dealership rather than canceling it. Simona is a tremendous asset to DCH Honda of Mission Valley. Her ability to own a mistake and turn a frustrated customer into a loyal one is a rare skill. I requested to speak with a service manager during my visit to share this feedback and recognize Simona's performance, but I was unfortunately unable to connect with leadership. I hope this review reaches the appropriate management so that Simona can be recognized for her integrity and the high standard of service she upholds. I look forward to my next service visit and hope that the operational issues in the service lane are addressed to match the level of excellence Simona brings to your team every day.

He went over everything they did and showed me things that came across that needed future service, but he was pushy about it which was really nice.     Worst service center experience I've ever had…read more I drive a Hyundai Ioniq 5 and recently received a "Check Electric Vehicle System" warning. I brought my vehicle to Kearny Mesa Hyundai for service, and it took nearly 10 days just for a technician to assess the car. I was eventually told that the high-voltage battery needed to be replaced. When I was notified that my vehicle was ready for pickup, I arrived at the dealership and was shocked by the condition of my car. It was completely covered in bird droppings. I pointed this out to the employee who brought out the vehicle, and I was told that they do not have covered parking and do not wash customer vehicles. Luckily, my service advisor overhead how upset I was and eventually helped to clean the vehicle. The condition in which my vehicle was returned was unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Other customers walking by were visibly shocked and even commented on how disgusting the car looked. I have attached photos documenting the condition of the vehicle at pickup. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this service center.
