Happy to have hopefully found a reliable company for flower deliveries. I've made the mistake of using many commercial delivery services such as From You Flowers and 1-800-Flowers and was very hesitant about trying again with a different company. Majority of the time the flowers are dried up, wilting, in a different basket, etc. When my friend received a promotion at her job I decided to give Dr Delphinium a try and I'm glad I did. It is on the pricier side, I paid about $159 for the delivery of the flower arrangements shown and the room spray plus candle, but frankly I've learned you get what you pay for. The website was a little glitchy - especially when it came to the message that I wrote in the card, but overall I was very happy with the outcome and glad that the Dallas location could deliver as far as the Fort Worth suburbs (about a $15 delivery fee). I even had the opportunity to speak with support since I accidentally put my own address rather than my recipients, who were more than happy to help me with my issue. Overall I do recommend giving this service a try.

My birthday flowers from 3/15/2023 on 3/23/2023!

OMG. My sister sent me some flowers from this business for my birthday 3/15/2023 and it's now 3/23/2023 and my flowers are still in excellent shape! I love them so much!!! God is so Good and creates the most beautiful masterpieces!!! I can now appreciate the beauty of flowers!!! I remember very vividly, a significant other at the time (2016) asking me if I like flowers and I said something to the extent of " not really, they eventually die".. I was SILLY! I absolutely, positively LOVE flowers!!!! This business has literally made me see the light! I also love the very unique vase that I feel, has made my flowers last so long. I just have to make sure the vase is completely filled. Not too much I have to do as I am not quite a plant mom yet lol..Thank you for making my birthday and everyday since special. I love coming home to see my flowers still alive and thriving.

I love this florist. The flowers and arrangements are unique. I rated this location 4 stars because they are expensive and a plant that I received from this florist on Valentines day was $150.00 and looked terrible. I am sure they were swamped but the plants at Costco for $10.00 looked better. I am including some examples of their amazing work and the plant from Valentines that was not pretty. Sorry.

Dr. Delphinium has been my go-to Dallas florist for probably 20 years. Amazing floral selection, talented designers and perfect communication. Also, when shopping from their website, what you see is what you get! So often, what's promised is not what's delivered. Different vase or pot, different flowers or arrangement, etc. Not the case with Dr. Delphinium. I ordered these for a birthday/holiday gift from their website and it arrived exactly as pictured. They are consistently the most high quality florist I've ever used and that includes in my own city - Houston. Please open a location here!! Thanks for always taking such good care of my loved ones by delivering the freshest, most beautiful arrangements. Dallas is lucky to have you!

    Mothers Day flowers

After giving Chandler a hard time about a couple of wonky flowers in the arrangement my daughter sent me for Mothers Day, I stepped back and had a reality check. 1. Chandler was super sweet and supportive. 2. She offered to send another bouquet. I declined, still so sweet. After looking closely at the arrangement it was and is beautiful! I regret my behavior and emails and hope they are in the trash bin. My behavior is for sure. Thank you Chandler and Dr. Delphinium for the beautiful flowers. Sincerely, Georgette Garza

Really poor quality for the price. I loved Cebolla and regularly ordered but Dr. D is far sub par. I would never send flowers from them. see attached pic of $100+ arrangement.

I am not sure if the quality has gone down or what is going on. I ordered a nice bouquet of flowers in a vase costing more than $200. The online order process was nice and smooth and received my flowers later in the evening. Everything went smoothly but then upon inspection the flowers used in the arrangement seemed to have already been wilting and not fresh. The water was even a bit murky. The hydrangeas were already dead and some of the straw flowers were wilting. Initially I chocked it up to transport and the very hot days we have been having this August. But waking up to them the second day they already are all wilting and don't look very good. I don't think this kind of quality is acceptable if you are paying higher price than the grocery store bought flowers but they don't even last a day and a half. Ive been a long time customer and always recommend everyone go here and support a local business. Not sure I will be using this florist or recommending any longer.

Just 5 days after receiving this bouquet.

I received a Dr. Delphinium mixed rose bouquet just two days before Valentine's Day. They presented nicely at first, albeit I wasn't blown away. However, even with proper care and attention these flowers lasted significantly less time than the Tom Thumb ones I had purchased myself days before. I always prefer to support small businesses, however considering the money and time that was spent for the "Dr. D" name, I truly expected more. After just five days they were wilted and unsightly, which leads me to believe these were not fresh flowers. It's disappointing, but based on the lack of quality and expensive price tag I would recommend going elsewhere.

Dr. Delphinium is my "go to" florist when k want to send something special. The quality of the service, flowers and care is second to none. They really hit it out of the park for Valentine's Day with a gorgeous arrangement. When what you want to send matters, use these folks - they're amazing!

So sad but we gave Dr Delphinium a second chance after the last "fast dying" arrangement we purchased. My husband has always gone to Dr Delphinium in the past and gave me a pretty arrangement for our anniversary on Tuesday. They are already gone, by Saturday. We added water every day, but the flowers just weren't fresh enough to last. Had to pull the hydrangeas out on day two because they were completely dead. The flowers I buy from Trader Joe's last longer. Far too expensive for tired flowers.

We renewed our membership this weekend April 2026 and went to see the Samurai Collection. Metalwork is not a favorite of mine, but I was still fascinated by the stories presented on the placards throughout the exhibit and I certainly appreciated the beautiful, intricate craftsmanship presented in each piece. I didn't realize that the Samurai swords and armor had been banned from production in Japan, so the metal workers pivoted and learned to become artisans. They started to make and repair metal embellishments, lanterns, and incense burners for the numerous temples in the country. Many of the items in this collection were from Kyoto and Nara, both places my husband and I visited in November 2009. The full body armor was fascinating. Little pieces of leather were coated in metal, painted, and woven tightly together to form a moveable, but protective layer over the body. The workmanship was exquisite. The exhibit had a few short videos you could watch to learn about the work. I especially liked the 30 second clip about the process of making cloisonné. These vases are beautiful and the process to make each one is detailed and meticulous. Kids could collect a postcard-sized scavenger hunt near the entrance and use that to stay in engaged throughout the visit. At the end, there was a sign on the wall with the answer key pictures showing which art pieces help the intricate designs they were looking for. The DMA has a permanent collection that includes a variety of art from around the globe, as well as multiple special exhibits throughout the year. Everyone is bound to find something that delights them and inspires conversation and wonder. Worth a visit!
