Dr. Flora listens to what a patients concerns are about their health. He is a good diagnostician and he truly cares about his patients. He takes pride in helping them feel better. First of all, how someone can rate a doctor poorly for not having appointments available BLOWS MY MIND. That has nothing to do with the doctor as a physician or as a person. Now moving on, I was looking for a new general doctor when I got new insurance earlier this year, I went to a couple and was either treated badly or my symptoms ignored because of my age (29 year olds have health issues too!!) doctor Flora was unbelievably kind to me, made the time to get to know me and make me feel heard and genuinely cared about. I have been back once for migraines and a ear infection and he just takes the time to really talk it out, asks questions to get as much information he can in order to really treat the root issue. Also he's just a sweet and funny man who you don't mind talking to and telling all your nasty human body problems to, he never makes you feel ashamed or silly. He will be my primary doctor for as long as I live within 50 miles of him. read more

Decent doctor, but be prepared to wait hours after your appointment time. Why is this guy booking 9AM appointments when he knows he's working at SiMi Valley hospital until at least 10:30 AM? We always have 9AM appointments and don't leave until at least noon. Very unprofessional. One lady in the office is nice, the other male is kind of a douche. The waiting room is always jam packed with sick people, so be prepared to get sick if you're not already. read more

I have no idea whether this Dr. is any good or not. In the multiple times I've brought my 89 & 94 year old grandparents they've had to wait HOURS before being seen by the Dr. This is INSANE and cruel and entirely unprofessional. I've also taken my time to come by the office to leave messages and they've never made return calls. I've had trips to the emergency room that have been better. He is a knowledgable, great Dr. My husband went to UCLA and I insisted he go get a second opinion from Dr. Flora. He never went back to UCLA. His staff is very sweet and you can call them and they will always get your questions to the Dr. They actually answer the phone when they're open! This doctor might be knowledgeable but his staff is a horrible mess. Lost records, lost tests...This man needs to clean up his office.

Terrible experience!!!!! I was scheduled for an appointment at 11:00 am 10/05/2015 I had to see a specialist, since I was very sick, coughing so bad, almost a month, and notified the receptionist that I needd to see penologist soonest possible. I had to go back to work by 1:30 pm. To make it shorter, I wasn't able to see a doctor after waiting 2 hours and 20 minus. I reminded the nurse couple of times that I have to go back to work after the visit, and the nurse kept lying to me that i have to wait just a little more. I wouldn't wait that much if have other choice. I don't have an insurance and Dr. Flora was one of most affordable doctors that I found online, excepting cash payment ($120 for consultation only). His all patients were Indians, and I am assuming that the doctor is also prejudice, since I was not Indian and was treated this way. I left the office without getting any apology or offer to reschedule appointment in my continence. I left 1:20 without seeing a doctor.
