Dr Ghodsian has followed my cases on a few different occasions. I have come to rely on, and be extremely grateful for, his compassionate and caring manner. Following surgery what normally happens is I get set up for a two week follow up appointment with my surgeon. On several occasions, following these surgeries, something has come up. Dr. G as he is often called by his patients and colleagues has come to my rescue. Finding solutions for whatever it has been that I needed. Dr. Ghodsian was the attending physician at Los Robles Medical Center when I had my Total Hip Replacement Surgery on May 15, 2023. I did not know there was a problem until early June when I received a letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield (my insurer) indicating that they made 3 attempts to contact Dr. Ghodsian, and they only received one text from him indicating that he was busy in meetings. BCBS simply needed the designation of the surgery changed from in-patient to "out-patient with observation" to save me an immense amount of stress; but to date, he has not done so. As a result, I am facing a bill of $258,398.45, for something that should cost zero, as I've already met my yearly deductible. I've made multiple attempts to contact him in person, to no avail. A person this inconsiderate could not possibly provide consistently good patient care. read more

AWESOME!!! I have found him to be the most pleasant doctor to deal with in my somewhat extensive medical history. Dr Ghodsian is professional but still friendly and compassionate. I found him to be very thorough - asking questions and a LISTENING to the answers. He is available and responsive. He remembered my specific issues and concerns. I have a background in emergency field medicine, fitness, kinesiology and business. Some people (read wife) consider me demanding and intolerant. I use doctors like I do mechanics. Shahriah Ghodsian was the assisting medical doctor for the orthopedist Gregory Tcheheyan, Who did my knee surgery on December 8, 2015. I was told by Dr. Ghodsian that I had to take oxycodone for my pain management after the surgery. I advise Dr. could see in that I had had severe side effects five years ago in taking oxycodone. He replied that I had to take this medication in order to do physical therapy after the surgery. As a result of taking oxycodone I went into full-blown fibromyalgia and was taken to the hospital and spent one week in the hospital and one week at a behavioral health management center before I was able to go home. As a result of this directive to take oxycodone by Dr. Ghodsian I was left with the following health challenges: inability to sleep without medication, loss of appetite, dry mouth, inability to urinate, constipation, weak and very fatigue, nausea, mentally challenged, depression, body pain, ringing in ears. I needed a health care provider for one month assisting me 13 hours a day because of the many medical and mental issues caused by the oxycodone. It cost me thousands of dollars for this Caregiver. I strongly believe that Dr. Ghodsian needs to be accountable for the deterioration of my health during his persistence of my taking the oxycodone and especially not informing me of weaning off the oxycodone in a timely way. When I approached Dr. Tcheheyan about with my horrifying experience he dismissed it, saying all people have those symptoms with oxycodone. I sincerely hope that this review will help someone else not go through this horrific experience that happened to me. Doctors should listen to patients especially when they don't even know the patient or the patient's history as Dr. Ghodsian didn't even know me or my past medical history. read more

I was wrought with horrific pain and fear because I had never undergone anything like this before, but this doctor made me feel comfortable, secure and at ease. He was readily available for me.
