I even moved from CA and fly in from Texas just to see him because he's always done such a great job, until now. When I came in for my filler in June 2025, the appointment felt rushed from the start. It usually takes about 30 minutes, but this time Dr. Lin was done in 10 minutes. A few days later, I noticed uneven, hollow areas under my eyes, which was something that has never happened before. I reached out to express my concerns and request a refund for the $850 I paid (which, by the way, used to be $400). Instead of any accountability, I was told by Lucy that refunds are not offered but that I could speak with Dr. Lin directly. Dr. Lin agreed to fix the issue, so I scheduled a follow-up and another flight from Texas, and another expense. But when I arrived in California, I found out Lucy had booked me at a completely different office (Sherman Oaks) instead of the Valencia office I've gone to for a decade. When I realized the mistake and tried to reschedule, as it was too far away for the time I had to do it. I texted back, emailed, even called, and I was completely ignored. Because of this careless handling, I ended up losing $1,400 in travel costs due to flight changes and extra expenses from the government shutdown. And to make matters worse, I now have to spend another $850 elsewhere just to get my filler fixed. I just want a refund of my $850. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed and disrespected I feel after ten years of loyalty. The quality of care and communication has gone drastically downhill since the switch to Unified Health. As a VIP patient, I no longer recognize this practice, and I will not be returning. I am deeply unhappy with my results and the way I was treated.

I can understand 15-20 mins before but 40 mins is outrageous.

The girls behind the desk are in Cheryl's domain and several of them think it's ok to behave rudely to patients. None of them look very happy with their jobs. Why? My guess is Cheryl who is backed up by Dr Gill. Instead of hearing both sides of the story, Dr Gill relies on Cheryl and I guess if you piss her off - by pointing out her mistakes - you can expect retaliation. It's indicative of the politics of this office. This atmosphere - to me - pervades the entire office. It's too bad. Dr Gill - under supervision - implanted a monitoring device under my skin. Experimental device made by Boston Scientific. 7 months later I get a bill for $7000 for the device. I ignore the bill. 4 weeks later I get another bill so I attempt to contact Dr Gill's office manager (Cheryl). Cheryl did not return my call so I reluctantly contacted Blue Cross. After I called Blue Cross they straightened things out. The next time I saw Cheryl at an appointment - and tried to explain that I would always call her first - she lost her temper and told me to leave and never come back. She claimed she called me (she didn't) and proceeded to eject me from the office. Dr Gill should know better, but he seemed to be annoyed at me because I told him that I thought Trump was a disaster. So if you want to support Dr Gill, remember that he supports Trump. He certainly doesn't support the rank and file like me. Beware of Cheryl though - it appears to me that she has a mean streak. She approached me the very first time in a hostile and aggressive manner and it seems some of her aggressive behavior may have rubbed off on a few of their staff. Dr. Gill? He should know better. I believe he has undertaken more work than he can manage. I don't want to believe he tried to scam me out of $7,000, but from every angle it appears when he was unable to do so, he lost interest in being my Doctor.

My wife paid the $50 at the office, believing it was for seeing the doctor. They never corrected that misperception nor attempted to ensure she understood it. No show implies you blew it off and made no attempt. That was not the case. I hope they enjoy taking unearned money in such an unethical manner. This doctor is ill-served by this staff.
