I was beyond excited for this appointment after seeing the doctor's natural approach on TikTok. I was hoping to find a cosmetic dermatologist I could trust and work with for years. I walked into the office smiling and optimistic. That optimism quickly disappeared. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM. After waiting over an hour, I politely asked the front desk if the doctor would be seeing me soon. I was assured I was next. Instead, she went in to see another patient. After an hour and a half, I told the staff I might need to leave due to prior plans. I was again promised she would be right in. She finally came in after nearly one hour and forty five minutes of waiting. At that point, I already felt uneasy and wish I had listened to my intuition. During the consultation, my concerns were quickly dismissed, specifically my worries about under eye filler and being overfilled. I was very clear that if I was not a good candidate, I did not want filler. I explicitly said I would rather be underfilled than overfilled. I also mentioned I had heard fat transfer could sometimes be a better option. She brushed this off entirely, said fat transfer was terrible, and insisted under eye filler was the right choice, promising she would never overfill me. I trusted her. I deeply regret that decision. After another thirty minute wait, she returned and performed Botox and filler. I mentioned that the wait time was far beyond anything I had budgeted for and that I had never waited this long for a doctor. Her response was dismissive. She said they were not a med spa. For the record, I have seen many physicians who are not med spas and have never waited over two hours past my appointment time. The entire visit felt rushed. The bruising was severe, some of the worst I have ever experienced, including bruising from Botox, which has never happened to me before. Immediately, the under eye filler looked lumpy, but I tried to stay hopeful and waited a full week before writing this review. Unfortunately, it has not improved. The filler does not blend seamlessly into my cheek. It visibly bulges and looks like worms under my eyes. The filler is clearly sitting improperly and is noticeable in normal lighting. I am devastated. I paid approximately three thousand dollars for this under eye filler and feel completely taken advantage of. My appointment was at 2:30 PM and I did not leave until after 5:00 PM. Do not fall for TikTok hype or glowing reviews the way I did. If anyone has questions, feel free to reach out. I have much more to say, but this review is already long enough. read more

Save your time and money. I've been a patient here for over three years, and unfortunately the experience has steadily declined. There is constant turnover in this office where injectors and front desk staff seem to change every month. As a long-term patient, it's disappointing that no one seems to remember your name or recognize you when you come in, including Dr. Armstrong. Appointments are almost always delayed, typically by more than 45 minutes, and there's rarely an apology or explanation. On one occasion I waited nearly two hours. I even tried booking the first appointment of the day, thinking that might help--but the doctor was still late. Another frustrating part is the constant upselling of additional services during visits. Instead of feeling like patient care is the priority, it often feels like you're being pushed toward spending more money. I am sharing my personal experience so others can make an informed decision. I was treated by Dr. Jennifer Armstrong and was talked into Botox in my chin and cheeks. The result caused noticeable facial asymmetry, with the right side of my face drooping to the point that multiple people asked if I had suffered a stroke. I returned to express my concerns and was extremely distressed. The only option offered to me was a laser treatment to "break up" the Botox. I was not offered a refund, corrective treatment, or alternative solutions, nor was there any real compassion or acknowledgment of how upsetting this outcome was. I had to live with the effects for six months, including during my 40-year reunion, and I am deeply unhappy with how I looked in photos from that once-in-a-lifetime event. Patient Beware! After being in office for 2.5 hours for a new patient consultation and signing a consent and authorization form and paying for services, the doctor came in and unilaterally did something else. When I asked her to complete the other 2 services I paid for, she tried to charge me more money. She was not apologetic about her mistake despite the clear instructions on the authorization I signed and her employee witnessed, nor would she remedy it. This is a breach of contract and unethical. Called office twice and spoke to separate employees. Neither the Office manager nor Dr. Armstrong have called me back to address my issue with them not giving me the contracted and paid for services. Dr Jenn is super nice and her social media is great. But, DO NOT go to her. I waited 3.5 hours because she was running behind. I have been doing botox for 20 years and I have NEVER had a botched job like this (one eye brow much higher than the other, she destroyed my smile - one side of my face dropping and the other not). What a disaster for over $13k. Listen her video are great, but DON'T believe all the marketing hype, you will be sorry. When I complained - I got the run around for several weeks then a letter from her insurance company. I was able to get the filler disolved because it was placed incorrectly - I had lumps on my face. See photos I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I had initially come in for my first time earlier in the year and had an amazing experience and left a great review. However fast forward to now I came in to have more filler as the initial filler had started to fade away and I felt un symmetrical again. I received treatment and after two weeks noticed asymmetry on my lips, I did a follow up and again left and saw they were still uneven. I came back a second time and did call in advance to explain the situation, sent photos and got an appointment and verified the dr would be able to possibly do something, I wouldn't spend my time leaving work early to come if that were not the case. The girl at the front was extremely rude throughout this process discrediting my concern and not informing me that this appointment I'm making would be "squeezing me in". She also said "we don't see anything wrong with your photos but if you still want to come you can". I felt so uncomfortable and felt like I was going crazy for feeling this way and didn't feel welcomed back. When I arrived I waited over 40minutes in the waiting room, another patient heard me talking to my boyfriend and asked me about my experience- I expressed I initially loved drArmstrong and was very happy, however I'm upset now because this is my second time back for a correction and also a second time I've come in and had to wait over 30minutes which was frustrating because I left work early to be here on time. When the dr saw me she expressed "I don't see anything wrong, this is your anatomy" and showed me all my before photos. Which of course all my before photos are un even, hence why I came in to get them filled more. After photos would've been more accurate, as she corrected them previously and I was obviously happy and they were much better than how I am left now. (See photos) My time and money was wasted ($1700) to end up looking un even and unhappy. Dr Armstrong expressed how the patient I spoke to told her what I said and she didn't like that and at that point didn't make any corrections to my lips or give any solutions and I left without my lips being corrected because she wouldn't help me any further. Any solution would've been better than me leaving $1700 wasted away and feeling invalidated and delusional.I know it's fixable as she had done it in the past. I think my case particularly just takes some patience and experience to get it more symmetrical. I am not expecting perfection, however I expect professional service. I don't think I'm being unreasonable for expecting the same outcome as I had prior. I did apologize for making my comments in front of the other patient, even though I was just being honest and expressing my frustration. I shouldn't have even apologized, as I am owed an apology for the way I was treated and made out to seem like I'm "seeing stuff" or making up that I have an issue with my lips. This is un acceptable to leave a patient feeling unhappy, unsatisfied with the service and uncomfortable because of the way her staff treated me and no solutions were offered. This is my face and I deserve to be happy with the outcome if I am paying for a service. I now have to seek help elsewhere to either dissolve the current job or get a touch up for more accurate symmetry. All the photos speak for themself- first photo is how I came in initially, along with the correction she made and how amazing and symmetrical they looked after, and the last photo CLEARLY shows how I am left today, completely asymmetrical. There is a VERY OBVIOUS difference and it's clear that a correction can be made as she has done it in the past, so why now am I being turned away and told nothing is wrong? The doctor seemed annoyed to even be there and barely took the time to listen to my concerns. They were in and out so quickly that I felt like just another number rather than a patient. The staff was super kind let it be clear! It is the doctors fault for me leaving the office this pissed. What really stood out was how money-focused the visit felt. The emphasis seemed to be more on upselling expensive treatments and products than actually addressing my medical needs. THE WORST!!! I cant say enough how upset and disappointed I am with this so called doctor. I'm in debt with 11,000USD because I believed her word when she said my lower face/ neck issue was an every day procedure they practiced. That I was going to be happy with the results and that if any revision was needed they will do it because client satisfaction was #1! The 11K is not all the lower threads but she upsold me on other procedures to help the results... and so I believed and agreed. YUP, NOT HAPPY is an understatement, It looked awful! Well, since August they have given me some "complementary" electric procedures.. they said it was to help out the revision. Fast Forward to when it was time for a revision, I basically had to beg to get a revision done, such a horrible moment I do not wish on anyone. The so called revision was also bad, I look the same as I walked in in August 2023, my issue is still very much present. When I called and said about the revision being unsuccessful they said IN ORDER FOR IT TO LOOK GOOD, YOU NEED TOPAY $5,000 MORE!! that's where I draw the line. I do not know if is the quality of her material, maybe she is not as experienced as she advertises to be. I do not know, but I am not paying more and now I am being told that cosmetic procedures are not guaranteed, that they will work on some people and not on others. CANT BELEVE IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN. Last time I visited here couple month ago they sent my prescription to wrong pharmacy and insisted me to go there to pick it up when I already waited 30min at the address where I wanted to pick up at. I complained and finally they changed the pick up location for me. I scheduled another appointment a month ago an I called in a week before to confirm my appointment. What I heard from them was water damage on the Fullerton branch and they could help me in Newport beach and the doctor I made an apooinment was no longer on the site. GOt NO NOTICE IN ADVANCE AT ALL, but okay I had to visit due to my skin condition. It took me an hour to visit the Center and I still arrived 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment BUT still had to wait about an hour to enter the room (signed in 2:49- waited until 3:40 ish). Got checked and I was told that my medication will be delivered overnight to my address and It has been two days since and still DIDN'T GET A SINGLE FOLLOW UP CALL FROM THEM. I AM TELLING YOU PEOPLE. i took my son here a couple months back for acne and she put him on a medication that is not working. she told me if if doesn't work in a few months to come back and she will prescribe Accutane. I'v called twice, NO one returns my phone calls, and now I finally called again and was told she is no longer doing Dermatology only fillers! and he could see her PA in September! REALLY???? what lovely customer service. They really know how to take care of their patients. I don't recommend this office for anything. it's sad as I liked Dr Armstrong as a person. I was excited to meet the doctor for my first Botox (big Instagram fan!) but when I got there I waited 45 minutes and none of the office staff updated me on what was happening. They did ask me to refill out forms I had already completed on line prior to coming. Here's the thing, my husband died in 2020 and his cancer battle took 5 years of my life. I expect courtesy from everyone and will not waste what remains of my valuable lifetime sitting in a waiting room for a 10 minute Botox treatment.
