Disappointed by my experience. The customer service was great, everyone was very kind. I got Botox in my masseter right side and ended up with a lopsided smile. Somehow a muscle in my cheek got triggered and now over a month later it's still lopsided. One of the worst Faicial's I ever got!! Even if I got paid I wouldn't go back. The girl who did my Faicial Anna had thick rubbery gloves on it was so uncomfortable whit her rubbing my face, when she finally finished cleaning my face she had a very old towel rubbing my face to clean it off the products it was so rough it was hurting my skin. Proceeding she put the old towel she took off the products over my eyes while continuing cleaning the pores. After she put the mask on by using her hands with the most enjoying sounds of rubber gloves. Normally when I have a facial they use the brush for the mask. After its on I hear hear her reach for here phone to start texting. I couldn't relax at all there where no music I could here the loudest laser machine beeping next door while people talking and laughing. I sat up too tell here I no longer wanted to proceed with my facial. She wouldn't leave the room. Actually the worst experience of a facial and I have had. Don't go there!!! read more

I originally came to this place because of a groupon that I purchased and the experience from beginning to end was really horrible. To start off, my tattoo laser removal technician Heather seemed like 1 she was high on drugs and 2 like she had no idea what she was doing. She then started getting things prepped which took her a while and then she decided to start the laser without even telling me she was beginning! Are you kidding me?! I've had this tattoo treated a bunch of times before so I relatively know how much time you spend for a tattoo of that size let's just say she took about 2 min over that and seemed like she was just blasting the entire part of the back of my ear even after the tattoo ended! I'm not sure how long she's been doing this but it seemed like it was her first time. The place is a bit dirty and messy for what they do here it should most definitely be a lot cleaner. I received a rejuvenation facial today, which consists of a charcoal mask and laser treatment. You just feel a slight warming sensation and you see afterwards smooth, tight and fresh skin. The results don't look drastically different, but you're meant to do the facials in a series of at least 6. I have acne prone skin and this is a great way to keep skin bump free and kill any bacteria. read more

Everyone is entitled to feel how they feel about their experience when they come here but when I read the negative reviews I feel like we are coming to a completely different place. I have been coming to this location over a year and Remy and the other office staff are knowledgeable and kind. Anna the magnificent has always done my facials and she is thorough; talks me through each step which is specifically designed to be beneficial for my skin type. The improvement of my skin has given me so much confidence and reduced my stress and anxiety. I purchased a groupon for a 60 minute signature facial. As other reviewers have mentioned, it was really difficult to get an appointment because no one answers the phone or returns your message. I called 3 times and left 3 messages and finally the 4th time I got a phone call back. The moment I walked in I was told to look at a book of laser facial treatments which was the first attempt of an upsell. I purchased a facial because I got acne after a stressful trip. I was lectured the whole time about how I don't take care of my skin with no helpful information. After the facial which was not 60 minutes and 45 minutes with no facial massage, I was escorted to the front. They discussed in front of me how horrible my acne is and how I really need to buy a laser treatment that was over $1,000 to really fix my skin. It was an awful experience. Paula is really terrible at facials. It was a 60 min facial apt. and she got to me 15 mins late. The facial lasted not even 45 minutes, 15 of which she spend massaging my shoulders. I didn't pay for a massage I paid for a facial. Little to no extractions and the one mask. I basically paid money to have her wash my face for me. Really disappointing experience. THEN I had Botox done on my forehead for the first time... they would not let it rest and kept trying to up sell me more more more, I said I'm just trying it out and want expression. It's was very discerning. She never showed me where the needle came from from and talked to me about their cleanly safe process so I'm hoping to GOD I don't contact HIV or HEP C. This place used to be called Wi-Ho Laser Hair Removal if you want to see more reviews under that business. Although they may be under new management (not quite sure) this place is very sketchy and the RNs there are extremely inconsistent and unfriendly. Laser hair removal is not a fun process so I would expect the RNs to at least have a smile on their face! I had a coupon to come here for a Laser Skin Rejuvenation, and was pretty excited to see what a procedure like that would be like. When I arrived, I was greeted like normal, signed the agreements, and waited for my session. Then I was brought into a backroom by the front desk woman (not sure her name) so I could go on a Skype call with a Nurse Practitioner?? She didn't explain what this nurse and I would discuss, or why it would be on Skype, but just gave me the iPad in a backroom that reeked of chemicals and was uncomfortable to be in very long. The front desk lady told me she'd be back in a few minutes, but the signal for Skype gave out right away, and I wasn't sure whether to go back up to the front of the office, or just wait for her. I finally went up, she wasn't even phased by it and didn't seem to care if my experience was good or bad. She had me go back to the room, and the nurse asked me the same exact questions I had already answered when I filled out the original paperwork (also on an iPad). So then I waited again for the front desk lady to come back, she put me in another room, and another lady came in and applied a carbon-based product. She was super pleasant, and chatted to me like a human being, and valued customer. Then the original front desk lady walked in on us, and brought me to yet ANOTHER room. Anyone else confused yet? This final room was where the laser treatment actually occurred. The man who did the treatment was very personable, explained everything he was going to do, and treated me with respect. I would have really like to give a higher rating because of the man who gave me the treatment, and the woman who prepped me with the carbon-based product, but the overall experience was so bad that I simply can't give above one star. Past the in-person experience, I didn't really notice a difference in my skin the next day. I was told I wouldn't see much after one procedure, so I get it, but they also said I would see a definite glow the next day. Which I didn't. Seems like others have had great experiences here, which I don't discredit. But I noticed a very specific difference between the way I was treated, and the way regulars were treated when they walked in. Just because I had a coupon doesn't mean I wasn't thinking of becoming a regular, or at least returning occasionally. Isn't that what coupons are for? For new clients to try out your services, and decide based on that to come back or not? Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and management should figure out a better way to handle customer service for regulars and newbies alike. read more

The lasers are fine, but the customer service is really bad. They have technicians call out all the time and change appointments on you at the last minute. It takes forever to get an appointment and they are expensive. The plus side though is that they blast cold air on you while you get the laser done so it doesn't hurt at all. I want to update my review with Dr. Laser at Sherman Oaks because I'm completely disappointed with how the service is lately. I am currently on an acne facial plan which has me on a consistant schedule for facials & SKRs. I had to cancel my last appointment so I called the day after to reschedule. I called FIVE times and left three voicemails and no one got back to me. I understand sometimes phones are very busy but no one called me back after a few days. At my last visit, which was about 2 months ago, I had an SKR appointment at 6pm and I showed up at 5:30pm. I knew I was early and I informed the receptionist that I didn't mind waiting as I was waiting for the nurse to finish up with another client. She was sweet and offered something to drink. Another older woman walked in after me (about 5:45pm) and was taken immediately to the back. 20 minutes later, she comes up chatting with a nurse for another 10 minutes. At this point, I was already pretty annoyed that I had been sitting there 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. THE SAME NURSE TOOK ME BACK. I was pretty livid how they treated someone else before me and took me in way later. I would have appreciated a heads up that it was going to be a little longer than expected. They didn't have a problem charging me $200+ for a treatment though. The new staff they are bringing in are extremely unprofessional. I'm sure they are going through some staff/management transition but customer service should be your #1 priority, not at the end of your list. I will definitely not come back here. I've been coming here for a year or a bit longer for some tattoo removals and it's been a great experience. The front desk staff members are very welcoming and helpful as well as the nurses. They try to go above and beyond to make my painful experience as pleasant as it can be. They are very affordable as well, compared to other places I've tried.
