The office is clean and attractive and the equipment updated many times over the years. But most importantly, Dr. Mann is an extremely knowledgeable, thorough and caring professional. Her examinations are never rushed and if I ever have the slightest problem or concern, she schedules me immediately. In addition, the office offers an extensive eyeglass frame selection. Even after moving to another state, I continue to travel at least once a year to see Dr. Mann and have her maintain my optical needs. Every time we visited the store , Joan was friendly , professional and accommodating. Joan thoroughly knows the business of insurance, and assisting a client about their specific needs. Upon our last visit we met a young man name Fareed. My significant other needed an eyeglass case. A few cases didn't fit my S.O. eyewear. Most sale representatives would have given up. Fareed went the extra mile to find a case that matched for my S.O. eyewear. I was impressed by his diligence, commitment and professionalism. I made sure I told him this we appreciated his service

Unfortunately, the office is extremely disorganized and indifferent to patient concerns. The doctor was abrupt and unkind. She told me I needed to follow up with another eye doctor for a more thorough exam but never provided a referral. I was also told I need reading glasses, yet no prescription strength was given--leaving me with no clear guidance on next steps. I ordered a six-month supply of contacts that only lasted three months. When I came in to address this, the staff blamed me instead of investigating the issue, suggesting I use a "better" contact solution--even though I use Biotrue, which is one of the top solutions on the market. The contacts consistently dry out, and no one took responsibility or showed concern. To make matters worse, customer service was rude and dismissive. I asked if someone can help me find oversized glasses like pick them out for me and it was met with laziness. The rep told me I'd have to go thru the glasses myself. Really? What happened to the days of reps helping you pick out glasses like years ago. Overall, there was a clear lack of accountability, care, and professionalism throughout my experience. Two thumbs down. I would not recommend this practice.

During the whole visit she had a man there not a customer or someone that worked there, but a friend. She would make a sarcastic comment about you aloud as if you didn't catch on to what she was saying and so I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. To top it off when the glasses were ready instead of giving us the glasses case that always comes with the glasses, ie., (you choose Anne Klein or Eddie Bauer frames- the case comes with their logo on it) she gave us a plain black & brown generic case that you could get at a dollar store which I thought was really weird and I felt cheated.

Seems they are very focused on trying to upsell you things like lenses with bells and whistles you…read moredon't need, but directly after that sale is made is when their interest in serving the customer ends. Scheduling is not smooth but I can overlook that. The bigger issue comes later. They try to prescribe you the LensCrafter brand of contacts, but it takes many weeks to get them. They can not call and get an update on when they will ship or what the delay is. Their best answer is "When they get here they get here". Recently, we ordered 3 pairs of frames for all of our family members. We were told a week to 10 days to get them. I called and was told they are in "finishing" status with the lab but they have no way to reach the lab or expedite the order. It was very frustrating to deal with after you made the purchase and paid.
