And he told me they take these reviews seriously and wanted to make amends. I wasn't really interested in them doing anything else, but he genuinely prefers a satisfied customer. He personally helped me at the counter and I left with a second pair of readers to be picked up later. Yes, I'm satisfied because they cared. So because of that I am saying I prefer to keep coming here for my prescription lenses and frames than any other place.

The staff up front were helpful, honest, and friendly. My wife saw Dr. Goodman, who was great -- very nice, clear, patient, and honest. It was a really good visit with her. The main downside was the wait time. I was told it was due to the appointment before us running long, but it ended up being about an hour and fifteen minutes before she was seen for her exam. Overall, still a good experience and solid service, just plan extra time in case things run behind.

She is thorough in her evaluation of eyeglass prescriptions, and her recommendations are spot on. Dr Schiffman also treated my parents over many years and they also have great respect for her. Dr Shiffman made note of the start of a cataract in 2014, which I kept watch of over the past two years. I am now getting it corrected. It was Dr Schiffman's discovery of the cataract that alerted me of the issue As my sight deteriorated, I knew what the issue was thanks to her diagnosis. In addition to the great care she provides us, she's sincerely and genuinely a great person. Warm, kind and caring. Always sharing stories of her life, family, and foreign trips where she selflessly volunteers her time to improve the sight of those in need. She is truly a humanitarian. I have been wearing progressive lenses for 15 years never had a problem. Finally agreed to redo glass but was repeatedly told they are correct and this is my fault - can you imagine. Got glasses tried them for a week still issues So decided just to get distance glasses forget progressive piece. Glasses grabbed out of my hand told to give receptionist my name and they will call when done. Basically dismissed by the employee. I asked if they needed to measure where glasses sit for best results was told "no they are just glasses and there is NO REFUND". So no money back for not getting the glasses prescribed by their Doctor Aka progressive lenses. My insurance company has been falsely billed, I have been falsely billed because this business has incompetent employees. Stay away, their customer service is nonexistent and they make you feel inconsequential and have zero customer service skills.

I appreciate the gesture like that. We paid the remaining balance with cash, and then went on our merry way. We also was advised that if we had a problem, we can always stop in and they can adjust or fix if needed, which again i appreciate. Luckily so far no problems! Oh and just a side note- got a call on Saturday 11/30 about making sure that i got the text that my eyeglasses were ready, and while that is a good gesture, I had planned to come on Wednesday December 4th to pick them up. I also have a 30 minute ride to and from the place. Anyways, i like my new eyeglasses, and appreciate sterling opticial, and recommend this!
