I was looking for a dentist in the Philippines who could do my dental implant because the cost in…read morethe US is extremely high. Tooth & Go was not my first option. I initially spoke with another clinic--whose name I won't mention, but it starts with the letter B... please beware. They kept insisting on their "ONE DAY IMPLANT," and even though I wasn't satisfied with the consultation, they still charged me ₱3,000 for the online consultation and ₱25,000 just to book an appointment. Even after paying, I didn't feel confident with them, so I continued searching since my trip to the Philippines was already planned. That's when I found Tooth & Go on Google. I messaged them, and Czel was the one who assisted me. She explained everything clearly--much better than the dentist I spoke with from the B clinic. Czel walked me through the procedure, the timeline, the type of implant they would use, and the cost. I also did my own research and found out they are consistently listed among the Top 10 Dental Clinics in the Philippines. AUGUST 2025 - First Visit When I arrived in the Philippines, I went to their clinic and met Czel and Dr. Elkie, along with the rest of their staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. Their clinic is fully equipped--unlike other clinics that still need to send dental work to outside laboratories. Dr. Elkie explained everything thoroughly. A few days later, I returned for the implant procedure. Dr. Lapan was the surgeon, and although I don't remember the anesthesiologist's name, the entire team took great care of me. I had several follow‑up visits before flying back to the US. My next appointment was scheduled for January 2026 for the prosthesis placement. JANUARY 2026 - Prosthesis Placement I flew back to the Philippines, and everything went smoothly. I had multiple visits for fitting, and I even requested if they could speed up the process because we had a family gathering. They accommodated me without any hesitation. The final result was beautiful--everyone who saw it loved it. Even my dentist here in the US was impressed and asked for their contact information so she could refer other patients to them. One thing I also noticed during my visits: aside from Filipino patients, they had clients from many different nationalities. That says a lot about their reputation and quality of work. Overall I am extremely satisfied with Tooth & Go. From the staff to the doctors, from the explanations to the actual procedure, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine care. I highly recommend them to anyone considering dental implants in the Philippines.

Update: On the positive side, they do have really up-to-date equipment, including x-rays that the…read morespecialist who worked on it had access to on the go -- x-rays during the treatment -- and the staff is very friendly. I do appreciate that after my initial review, they contacted me, apologized for not providing a cost estimate, and offered a free crown or inlay to complete the tooth restoration. I accepted, which brought the overall price for the root canal (4th molar) and crown to 52,668 PHP -- a fair resolution. So far the work appears good, the tooth is fine now and feels natural, its color matches well, and it feels solid. I updated this review to reflect their response. Communication about costs upfront would prevent this kind of situation in the future.

(I'm an American living in the Philippines. First time going to a dentist in the Philippines)…read more I needed a cleaning, and a tooth looked at and decided to give GAOC a try. Since I didn't know any dentist at GAOC I decided to just do a teeth cleaning to get a feel for the clinic and the Dentist. My experience was as follows. The clinic was very clean and modern. I was impressed. The check-in process was efficient and on time. The treatment plan and cost were provided for my approval prior to work starting. Price is at the high end however this was expected due to GAOC's location in a large mall and all the celebrity marketing. The cleaning cost was a 2200-peso consultation fee, 3000 oral prophylaxis and 3750 air polish/stain removal (about $154 US dollars). The Dentist was informative and kind. She showed concern regarding any pain I might feel and adjusted the process quickly whenever I did (she's a keeper). After the cleaning I decided to continue as I was pleased with the service and ask the dentist to look at a tooth I was concerned about. A panoramic X-ray for 2000-peso was taken and then a CT scan for 18,000. After reviewing the scans, it was suggested that I see a specialist for possible root canal treatment and so an appointment was made for the following week. A couple days later I received a copy of the X-ray in an email (nice) but not the CT scan (why?). I sent a reply email asking about getting a copy of the CT scan and general pricing for a root canal. I never received a reply to either question (a big negative for me). A day prior to my appointment I received a reminder notice requesting my confirmation (Yep, from same email address?). I began thinking of being assigned a random dentist to perform a root canal plus they stopped communicating with me. Neither of which sat well with me. I decided to cancel the appointment and do some research on the company and their dentist before going in. I couldn't find much other than what is on their facebook page and website and even those were void of dentist information. I really wanted to get this done BUT with no information on any dentist and no price information I just couldn't pull the trigger (sigh). In conclusion, my impression of GAOC is that it is very suitable for people who will place basically blind trust in a well-maintained modern looking establishment with lots of famous/good looking people as fellow patients (paid or otherwise) and where cost is a secondary consideration if at all.

This is for GAOC Megamall. Date of Service Dec 2023 I can…read moresee why GAOC has a ton of 5 star reviews, they deserve that for those patients who got what they paid for. For me the true test of excellence is not when things are going normal and smooth but when challenges and problems are encountered, this is when the true character and integrity of a business is tested and measured and GAOC failed. This review is probably more for people who are thinking of getting dental work in Manila to save money because dental work in the west is triple the price. My advise is to only do it for procedures where completion and the results of success or failure can be determined during the duration of your stay. Otherwise, you will be out of luck if things dont go well. They still deserve stars for some aspects like Rose who is the business manager who really sold me the practice, her communication is great and timely. The facilities are top notch and they are pretty good in honoring appointment times (not common in Manila). I was very upfront with Rose on my expectations and I was extremely detailed and she assured me that they will deliver world class service from start to finish. I had 2 of my back molars filled after Dr Emerson Amurao advised me that having a crown is not necessary. According to my US dentist my tooth had a fracture and needs a crown which will cost thousand$$. I never felt anything on those tooth before but I am now suffering from sensitivity for 4 months now and constant dull pain. I have mentioned the sensitivity to them right after the procedure but sometimes its normal and it gets better in time. After a month it was getting worse so I messaged Rose in Whats app since I was already back in the states. We started going back and forth and at some point they no longer responded (attached proof). Instead of Dr Amurao jumping on a quick call to help me troubleshoot and resolve the issue efficiently, he sends one liner questions through Rose back and forth for days and dropped the ball by just ignoring me and hoping id go away. I also dont appreciate Dr Amurao not recording what we discussed during our consultation which results to him telling me things that I did not state regarding the issues I reported to him. My attention to detail is extremely high and I think I know exactly what I reported to him during consultation. This is bad but the most unforgivable part is that they sold me a BLEACHING TRAY and when I needed a nightguard for bruxism. My dentist here in the US confirmed that it is a bleaching tray not a nightguard. In a couple of weeks, it was torn from my grinding. No nightguard will last for only 2 weeks. They charged me PHP 12000 and I ended up getting a new one here in the states. This is really unacceptable and if this were here in the US, you have a recourse especially if other dentists confirm that this is not a real nightguard. I have attached pictures to show a true nightguard which is thicker and not bendable and the bleaching tray they sold me which is super soft and bendable there is no way it would withstand the impact of grinding which is what nightguards are built to do. . This was my biggest fear, there is no guarantee of work. Once you pay, they are done with you. Thats how I felt about this whole experience. I am not getting anything from this review personally but it might help the next person who was in the same boat as I am. I am no longer sending my husband for a tooth implant and I have told my friends and family in Manila about what happened, I will continue to share my experience. Its important that businesses take responsibility and ownership for their work. That didnt happen here and people should know. My attachments proves the authenticity of my claim and the practice surely knows who I am and they cannot deny my existence which makes this an authentic review.
