A lot of times you have great care givers, however this office raises the bar with wonderful comfort givers as well. This particular surgery is a marathon and not a sprint and I feel immense gratitude for the care before, during, and after the procedure. I had never had any cosmetic surgery and to say I was a bit trepidatious is an understatement. I mean, it's my face! I did extensive homework to find a board certified doctor by initially looking at The Aesthetic Society website. Also, I read some medical journals about facelifts (focusing on high SMAS) which gave me a good launch point before my first visit. And finally, I do admit I was hoping to find a Beverly Hills doctor NOT in Beverly Hills. When I went to see Dr. Cohen for a consultation, he repeated most of what I had researched and patiently answered all my questions and clarified any concerns which brought great comfort. This doctor is so amazingly knowledgeable and his passion for constantly learning and vetting new techniques spoke volumes to me. With all this talent, all the credentials, and the medical expertise to back it up, you would maybe expect to find this doctor a bit intimidating but nothing could be further from the truth. He is so genuinely personable. Dr. Cohen could be my new next door neighbor and I would happily throw the welcome party. This doctor truly listens to his patients. I told him I was interested in a re-fresh and not a re-do. I know he is very capable of the latter and there is nothing wrong with that choice if that is what a patient prefers but the former is more who I am. And he delivered. His in-office OR is impeccable and very convenient. Not having to go to a hospital was a big thumbs up for me. His anesthesiologist walks on water as far as I'm concerned. I was more worried about that part than the actual surgery due to past trauma with severe post surgery nausea. He told me I would wake up feeling like I had a nice long wonderful nap and I did. No issues whatsoever. Healing from a full facelift takes time and requires full patient participation. The doctor and his staff were so checked in making sure I was doing well and being there for whatever I needed. Instructions were very well explained before surgery. I had periodic follow-up visits which I really enjoyed partly due to the team atmosphere of the office. Dr. Cohen, Jill, Jaime, Natalie, Lorrie, Alex (and I know I'm missing a couple of other fabulous members), I can't thank all of you enough. They really helped give me a boost during those first few weeks and again highlights the comfort and care giver aspects I mentioned earlier. The post surgery care of being able to take advantage of the in-office spa which includes the miracle CO2 laser was a treat. I had it done during surgery and again a few months later. I wish, he wouldn't refer me to Dr Samimi since I had a tiny swelling after a hit to my lower eye lid, which has not completely gone. I was not really concerned about that since I was seeing the improvement but very slowly. My ophthalmologist got so persistent and wanted me to see Dr Samimi. Most likely he wanted to give business to his friend, Finally, I set up appointment with Dr Samimi. As soon as Dr Samimi Saw my eyes, he said it's a filler and can easily be removed by injecting an enzyme. He rushed me to set up appointment. At the day of procedure, he was extremely nervous b/o the interaction he had with the patient prior to me. I saw him in a very bad mood and I asked, why he was in a very bad mood. He said, he explained everything to the patient and the whole family came and wanted him to explain all over, and he got very upset b/o that. A professional doctor has to be patient with the patients, In general He looks a very nervous person and the type that looses his temper easily, not a good candidate for medical field, To my understanding, he is not a professional and ethical doctor, and doesn't share all he is planing to do. Not only, he couldn't dissolve that tiny swelling, he created a major complication. After three previous breast surgeries with highly regarded Beverly Hills surgeons and spending a great deal of money I was still left unhappy with my results. I honestly began to believe that after three surgeries, this was simply something I would have to accept. My previous surgeries also left me with very visible, dark, and noticeable scars, which made me even more self-conscious. After everything I had already been through, I was extremely concerned about having another lift and creating even more scarring. Then I found Dr. Teitelbaum. I came to him in my mid-fifties with very droopy DD breasts, small silicone implants, three previous lifts, and significant scarring. Eight weeks after my surgery with Dr. Teitelbaum, I am now a beautiful, natural C cup without implants. He removed my implants and used fat grafting from my back and waist, and the transformation is beyond anything I imagined possible. My breasts are perky, lifted, youthful, beautifully shaped, and incredibly natural. I truly feel as though he gave me the breasts of a young woman again. I am absolutely over the moon with my results. And the scars are unbelievable. I am only eight weeks out, yet the new lift incisions are already so thin, light, and beautifully placed that they are barely noticeable. Four years later…read more.. Dr. Tielebaum has asked me several times to remove my review of 2022. However, not once did he offer to fix my breast that his surgery caused to bottom out, and which he had twice promised to fix. His interest is his money, nothing else. Therefore I have refused to remove my review. To readers who have not seen my previous review - He abandoned me when a probe developed with my breast surgery. He gave no explanations and was exceptionally rude and dismissive. His asking me to remove my review without offering to address the problem shows how his only interest was for how others see him. This is not a well-balanced man who is concerned for others. He cannot handle a problem with composure or grace. He will turn on the patient if there is a problem, rather than help the patient. At a time when you have trusted him with your body, this treatment is devastating. Your pain makes no difference to him. He is only nice to you when all goes well. Had I not been so disheartened and depressed at the time by my experience with him, I would have brought a malpractice claim. If anyone is considering such a course of action, contact me. We women are far too often intimidated and don't understand our rights.
