The only temporary relief I could get, was ablation theory through the pain clinic, which was extremely painful in of itself! I was talking to a golfing friend about my pain level, he referred me to the Chiropractic Doctors. I was initially skeptical as I had never tried Chiropractic care in my life. I was impressed as soon as i walked into their clintic, where Lauren and Rachel greeted me with their huge smiles and explained what to expect during my visit. Their initial approach of taking several xrays to help diagnose the root cause of my pain, was very impressive. I returned two days later, where Dr. Fhinney reviewed my films and had a through plan to correct the issue in my spine. Fast forward three months, I now can play golf with little or no back pain thanks to their comprehensive plan!

As for the office staff...they are just as personable! They have 2 different locations in Holland and both locations treat their patients with comfort and care. First of all, the volume was so high on their own phone, that the line would cut in and out. This made it difficult to understand the other person. I was then interrupted to get my info to charge my account for the call, which is fine, but then every time I tried to talk, they would talk over me and then quickly ask if I was there?! Could not stop talking long enough for me to explain my symptoms. Then when I talked loudly over her to explain to her that yes I was here still and to please stop talking so she could hear me, she quickly cut me off and told me someone would call me back. SO, a doctor calls me, calls me sounding annoyed, then tells me I need to come see them asap and the ER won't work because there is no on duty Gyno. So I ask for an appointment, and she tells me to call back during regular business hours? I then took the opportunity to share be experience with the after hours answerer, DOCTOR could care less! When I asked if she was even listening, she told me to call back during business hours and tell them. Dr. Cottingham clearly doesn't care how patient are treated by the staff, especially when they are calling with an emergency and trying to figure out what this scary unknown thing is happening with one's body

I know this for a fact because any and all reviews I've ever left, all suddenly disappear within hours after I write them. That's just a glimpse of how shady this place is. And If you want a doctor with zero compassion, even less medical knowledge, and absolutely no regard for your life - go see David bosscher. I've posted pictures on my Facebook page of severe cellulitis that developed in my right arm after having an IV placed in that area. Went in to see bosscher today because the redness and swelling had quadrupled in size overnight. Plus it became very hard and hot to the touch. This man simply told me to go home and "watch it." No antibiotics, nothing. If you go look at the pics, you'll see why that sort of response from a supposed "physician," was absolutely ludicrous. Long story short, I ended up in the ER tonight, and got the strangest looks from the nurses and doctors when I told them that he did absolutely nothing about the issue - as severe as it was. Had I not taken it upon myself to go to ER, I could've very easily lost a limb or my life in a very short period of time, as rapidly as the infection was spreading. Thankfully I was smart enough to make markings around the redness and wrote down times every time I did so and then took pics with my phone, so the progression, and how rapid it was, would be documented. It now looks like I'll have to undergo a big surgery to cut open my whole forearm and let the infection drain as well as to relieve the compartment syndrome that developed as a result of his negligence. I am just barely scratching the surface as to why anyone who values their life, or who desires a doctor with compassion and respect, should NEVER let dr David bosscher step within 10 feet of you. Feel free to message me through my Facebook page and I'll gladly fill you in on how terrible this man treated me and how he then took it upon himself to call the ER he knew I was going to, and try to instruct them to do nothing about the infection either. Because of his phone call, I was then treated incredibly rudely and unjustly at the ER as well - however, at least the doctor there had enough of a brain to realize it WAS cellulitis and WAS severe and spreading rapidly. Looking like now I'll need to be cut open to drain all the infection, when bosscher could've started me on antibiotics immediately and possibly eliminated the need for more invasive procedures. And again - this is just the tip of the iceberg. I'd be glad to fill anyone in who is interested in all the other ways that this man daily breaks the oath he took, and daily puts people's lives and limbs in jeopardy. He thinks he knows everything, and has quite the "God complex" about him, when in reality, a bum could do his job better than he does it... Thank goodness for good lawyers!! And one of those good lawyers just happens to be my roommate. So, I guess we'll see you in court, bosscher. Now that I've gathered up a vast amount of indisputable proof and information in regards to your competency (or lack thereof) and your blatant disregard for human life - physically and emotionally.

My husband had a colonoscopy on Monday. He wasn't called back to get prepped for the procedure…read moreuntil over an hour after his appointment time. No explanation given for the delay. Other patients said they had been waiting for nearly an hour and a half. That may not seem like a huge chunk of time, but when you haven't eaten in 40 hours, made to drink a gallon of prep fluid and you're nervous about what's about to happen, it's an eternity. As the loved one who was waiting with my husband, I wasn't allowed to go back and meet the Dr. beforehand or wait with him during the hour after he got his IV and waited for the Dr. to start the procedure. Neither of us had met this Dr. before, it would have been nice to know who was doing this procedure. Unacceptable in my opinion. Seek care elsewhere if you want a Dr. who cares about your time and doesn't treat you as if you are on an assembly line.
