Very, very, poor communication at Dublin Medical Center. There is frequent turn over of nurses and office staff who could care less about the patient. I had too many negative experiences to name them all. I transferred out. read more

The office didn't put the correct (any) code for my PSA test and I was going to have to pay 150.00 for the test. I called Dublin Medical and they said the order went in and the lab would need to call back and request additional coding. Quest instructed me to call my doctor and request the update.The young lady answering the clinical number said she couldn't send in another code. Since they failed to submit proper coding I shouldn't have to pay 150.00 while I wait to have these two facilities straightened out Dublin Medical's mistake. Poor patient customer service. They should have said, "Mr Phillips I apologize for the mistake and would be happy to call Quest and provide the correct code so you don't have to pay up front". I called the office back to speak with the receptionist. I explained the situation and asked if the issue could be corrected. She said if the insurance won't cover that I need to address that with them. She said looking at my last PSA, it was normal so I probably didn't need one. I said the PA saw me and determined that it was. I then asked if I could get a call from Natasha and was told she usually doesn't call patients. To me this is an unacceptable way to treat your patients. I didn't ask for the receptionist to determine wether I needed a PSA, basically because she probably doesn't have a medical degree and wasn't the person who saw me. I have seen Dr Davis and Natasha since the 90's and have no problem with them, but their administrative staff needs to be better trained in addressing patient needs. Dr. Davis has been our Family doctor for about thirty years. Very caring and helpful and will keep searching for an answer as when Lyme Disease first became serious in Upper Bucks County. In 2001 He searched until he agreed I had It when the Hospital sent me home saying it was a virus. He believed I had something serious. He never gave up. It took four weeks for a Bullseye odd shaped rash appeared and then the hospital ran the blood test which came back Positive, but they would not run it at my request. He is the best and YES we have to wait sometimes but its worth the special care he gives. His Wife Joy has been very helpful thru the years and I have enjoyed watching his boys grow up. Dr. Davis is an up to date doctor who cares in the old fashion way. He takes the time to fullfill all your needs without feeling like he's watching a clock. Theres been some changes with his employees which I agree with Chris H. this was needed. The staff now is there to assist you. I would recomand him highly. read more

Very poor, I moved new into the area, I came to the clinic and asked for form to transfer my records from the previous doctor to Dr. Robert Davis. The staff gave me the form wihch I dropped back to the offfice after filling it. After One month I called for an appoinment the staff member told me tghat they did not get back paper work from my previous doctor any it was my responsibility to check and confirm that the paper work was transferred. I was introduced to him through my older sister and she still goes to him!! Dr. Davis is an excellent doctor. He was there for the birth of my daughter, and he was there for me when I went into the hospital suddenly with a giant pulmonary embolism and DVTs in my left leg. He gave me his cell phone number, which is unheard of. I always felt that he was an intelligent, caring, thorough, and highly professional doctor.... which is why it is very sad to have to give this office 1 star and that I had to find another doctor to manage my chronic condition. Dr. Davis's staff are the rudest, most horrible people I've ever encountered in my years of dealing with medical professionals (I worked in a busy hospital in NYC doing billing for 3 years). They are discourteous and inefficient. Trying to get my pro-time results was like pulling teeth. They refused to call the blood lab if the results didn't come in, saying to me "can't you do it yourself?" They were always too busy to help me with whatever I needed at the time. They insist they receive "hundreds of faxes a day". I worked at a busy manufacturing plant with 5 fax machines. I know busy faxes. I also never lost a fax in 3 years at the plant. Nobody I know did. This doctor's office has 1 fax machine and lost nearly every fax sent to them. Natasha, the physician's assistant, is also very caring, nice, and helpful. The heartache and stress of dealing with their staff wasn't worth it. I was worried - I had never had blood clots before - but any questions to the staff were an annoyance, a hindrance, and I was sometimes verbally badgered by the office manager for calling Dr. Davis's cell phone (HE gave me the number PERSONALLY unrequested and TOLD me to call directly if I had concerns). I hope the staff of this office go to a special level of Purgatory where they have scary medical conditions and people treat them as shittily as I was treated. I will never ever let a staff of an office treat me like that again. It is inexcusable, especially when dealing with a condition where lab results and blood monitoring are important. God forbid something had happened - my family would have personally sued the incompetent staff. Dr. Davis is skirting a HUGE liability in continuing to employ them. But I am finished. I will never go back. And I suggest you find another office to deal with as well. Save yourself the heartache. It's not worth it. Especially when you are PAYING for it. read more

I would not recommend this office to anyone. The receptionists lack compassion and are beyond rude. They will not give the doctor a message if you call and I did blood work but no one called me with my results I had to call them and they told me I would have to come in for an office visit and pay for my results. The receptionist told me different stories I asked to speak with the doctor and they refused. The receptionist even tried to diagnose me herself and said she's as good as a doctor. I have never had such a horrible experience in my entire life and dealt with such horrible people as the recetionist. They are. It's actually pains me to even have to write something about Dr. Davis that is negative because I have been seeing him since I could remember he is an awesome and caring dr. And person it's his staff that are the problem they never return you phone calls I have called 3 times today starting from when the opened to close and only got the voicemAil and I haven't heard one thing back. This is not the first time or second time this has happen the only reason I have not switched doctors is because I LOVE my doctor but he has to think about bring new staff in because all of them are just miserable people and you can tell when you walk in or when you actually do get ahold of them on the phone. read more

He is a great doctor I agree, I have known him my whole life and he has never changed. I can be abrupt and challenging at times, he still shows love and treats me with respect. I don't care about waiting, because you could go elsewhere were they are on time but you do not get factual TLC when you need it most, he has seen me when I could not afford to pay him and had no insurance he did not charge me a dime. He writes letters to the evil insurance companies, he gives samples when money is tight. He is personable, kind, empathetic, loving, giving, and very knowledgeable! He has NEVER had the "god-like" diety. I know many doctors i work with and have seen as patients who do. When i was in the hospital and they were treating me badly i was in an auto accident with a collapsed lung and fractured ribs the glass stayed in my hair the 5 days i was in there i was never offered a shower or new bed linens, i was nursing my baby prior to the accident it took the ward 3 days to get me a breast pump from maternity, i called Dr. Davis and he visited me and called my attending doctor to find out what was going on. My interactions with Dr. Davis over my many years at his practice have been mostly positive. However, I recently changed Primary Care Doctors because I had a hard time getting a hold of Dr. Davis during acute medical situations (I have MS and a seizure disorder). When I requested that Dr. Davis's office send my medical records to my new doctor, I was told to come to the office to sign a release form so they could do so. When I got to the office to sign the form, the staff told me I had a balance on my account and they would not release my medical records until it is paid in full. I offered to commit to a $10 per month payment plan because I have an extremely low income, but they told me that they would not release my medical records until the balance is completely paid. I returned to the office later in the day to show the office staff a print out from a government website citing how federal HIPAA law applies to medical records and charges (as per federal law, a provider/doctor's office cannot deny you a copy of your records because you have not paid for services you have received), and they told me upon seeing the print out that they would release my records "bit by bit" as I made payments towards the balance. The office staff were not only unprofessional, but extremely rude, condescending, and insulting as they made remarks to my significant other and I such as "What do you think you two are trying to pull?" and "Yeah, like we're really going to see a payment" among other sarcastic and mean comments. I was just trying to get my medical records sent because I have very serious medical conditions which require regular follow-up with my doctors. I am very concerned that my current physicians will not have access to my medical records because Dr. Davis's office is essentially breaking federal HIPAA law by refusing to release my medical records until my account balance is paid. I have never been treated with more extreme disrespect and rudeness in a professional situation as I have been by Dr. Davis's staff. I would hope that for his current patients' sake that Dr. Davis's staff adopt a more respectful attitude and professional approach. (Following federal law would be a bonus, too.) read more
