Eventually, I concluded that I truly did not want the dress. I called the boutique again and was told that it was almost closing time and no one was available to speak with me at that moment. I was assured that someone would get back to me the following day. However, I never received a call back, so I reached out to them again to ask for an update. I was informed that they had been busy with other customers and would call me by the end of the day. I felt like I wasn't treated as a priority. Then, I was told that the designer would not be back until Monday, and they would have to contact me after that. Three days went by without any communication, so I called again. This time, I was told they had called me and left a voicemail, but I did not have any missed calls or voicemails. I was informed that it was too late to cancel the dress due to it being in production. Now, I find myself without a dress and $1,400 out of pocket. The owner mentioned that I had signed the receipt, which stated that there were no refunds or exchanges. I was told by other bridal shops that the production of the dress could be stopped since my wedding is so far out and I would need to pay a restocking fee. I felt the jacket and pants were slightly on the worn side- not bad, but not as crisp and sharp as I expected. I could see this was a rental by the way the sleeves and pant legs are altered. I haven't rented a tux in a long time, as I have had my own for many years, but sadly, I "outgrew" my most recent. So that is to say I've been spoiled by custom-fit tuxes since after I married 40+ years ago, until this one. Maybe I'm being too harsh? I will still recommend them, just be sure you go a day before you need the tux to pick it up in case it needs tweaking.

My daughter contacted Spellbound that Saturday, Sunday and Monday to check status. One day they told her they had just opened 30 minutes prior and were too busy to check, the other two days they told her they would call her back. That failed to happen. The following Wednesday (way more than 1-2 day max time-frame), I called to inquire the status. Not only was the owner extremely rude, but she came up with every excuse while constantly over talking me as I asked questions. She told me she would call and check status and call me back with info. When she did call me back, very unprofessionally said it would be three days (so it would arrive the following Monday. This would be 8 days after purchasing. Also, if she had already ordered it like she said, and it takes three days, why would I need to wait another 3 days if she wasn't lying?! Also, take note, the shoes they sell look just like worn, used outdated relics. The owner has one thing on her mind, and that's your money. No wonder they only offer in-store credit, otherwise I would have bought anywhere but there.
