The very next day after trying on my dress and putting down a $1,400 deposit, I decided that I no longer liked the dress. I called the boutique and was informed that the order had already been placed, so I could come in to try on the same dress, but it was too late to cancel the order. Since I was told it was too late, I decided to keep the dress. My appointment was on Sunday, September 30th, and my wedding is not until October 3, 2025.I was told I would get my dress in July 2025. Eventually, I concluded that I truly did not want the dress. I called the boutique again and was told that it was almost closing time and no one was available to speak with me at that moment. I was assured that someone would get back to me the following day. However, I never received a call back, so I reached out to them again to ask for an update. I was informed that they had been busy with other customers and would call me by the end of the day. I felt like I wasn't treated as a priority. Then, I was told that the designer would not be back until Monday, and they would have to contact me after that. Three days went by without any communication, so I called again. This time, I was told they had called me and left a voicemail, but I did not have any missed calls or voicemails. I was informed that it was too late to cancel the dress due to it being in production. Now, I find myself without a dress and $1,400 out of pocket. The owner mentioned that I had signed the receipt, which stated that there were no refunds or exchanges. I was told by other bridal shops that the production of the dress could be stopped since my wedding is so far out and I would need to pay a restocking fee. Back in March I just happened into Brides and Beyond because I had an appointment no one was going to be able to come to the next weekend. Since we had gone through a vendor show earlier and we had time, we drove out and without an appointment decided to just try some wedding dresses on and see what I might like while some family was actually with me. We came in and the lady helped me figure out color, lace, style, fit, and helped me try on so many dresses! We had an amazing time and experience! The dress I decided on had only been in the store a few days and they had to call to get pricing on it from the manufacturer! We got to talk with the alterations lady that day as well and talk about the minor alterations needed. The two ladies seem to run the whole store and do a fabulous job! We had a Friday wedding and the tuxs did not come in until Thursday at noon. Considering we had a Rehearsal dinner that evening at 6pm in Ft. Worth, this was a challenge to get the tuxs picked up. Also, this makes alterations and any missing items an additional stress on the bridal party that is unnecessary. We were given excuse after excuse as to why the tuxs were not there. One was the previous customers had not returned their jackets in on time so that meant other customers couldn't get theirs due to that, this was one of their excuses. This is ridiculous. I don't feel like they had any intentions for the tuxs being there until Thursday. Their biggest excuse was "they have no control what is on the trucks". If you can get something overnighted then obviously you have some control. My grandsons shoes were the wrong size. So they had those overnighted. They were hard to get a hold of and if they knew you were upset then they would avoid you. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Gave because I have no complaints, they saw me more than once without an appointment (some boutiques won't even see you because they aren't a big box store full of employees standing around). Attention to detail was great. Bought a dress for my daughter formal dance, they had great suggestions for alterations and made her feel beautiful because of an amazing (and very timely ) fit! I brought in a dress for my renewal (not purchased from them) and they agreed to do the alterations, in a short time period, for a very fair price) If you want big box/chain store with employees waiting for you to walk in, this isn't the place. I was so disappointed in Brides & Beyond. My daughter, who is getting married in April 2023 & I went in on a Friday. They had 1 other customer in the shop for a fitting. The young lady that waited on us acted like we ruined her day for coming in. We let her know right off that this was the first time trying on wedding dresses and my daughter was unsure of what style, etc... that she wanted. I let her know that I had bought 3 prom dresses and a wedding dress in their shop over the last few years. She kindly let me know that I looked familiar. We have what I would consider a "healthy budget" ($2k) for a dress. She let us know what side of the store we would want to start looking at. We pulled probably 15-18 dresses. She never once offered ideas of accessories. She didn't even bother to pull a veil to give an idea of the overall look. She zipped my daughters rear-end up twice in the zipper while she was trying on dresses. At one point, she actually huffed under her breath when I pulled another dress for my daughter to try on. My daughter was a bit overwhelmed and didn't know what to expect. I, on the other hand have been to several bridal stores over the years and am so disappointed. I will never step in their store again, nor will I refer business to them. The overall experience is suppose to be special for the bride. The bride should never be made to feel like a bother, especially to the dress store. We were in the store for almost 2 hours. No one else came in to try on dresses. It's not like we were keeping her from helping other people. So disappointed. In order to submit my review, I had to choose a star rating, otherwise, I would not have chosen a star. read more

Loved this place!!!!!! I couldn't have picked a better place to try on my first wedding dress! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wide selection of dresses and they make magic happen! There was a specific dress I found online and out of 34 bridal boutiques in Texas who carried the line they were the only ones who offered to get that specific dress in. I had a limited amount of time to try it on and they insured I got it. Even opening up the store for my on a day when they are normally closed. Being from a small town in the area, I had very few options for tuxedo rentals. Brides and Beyond seemed like my scapegoat, however my first proms tuxedo did not fit me correctly at all. BAGGY... I gave them the benefit of the doubt however, and due to location and convenience I went back the next year for another tux, however I received the same results. I was helped both times by a younger mexican looking guy who seemed to care way more about a play he was just in than measuring me properly. This was years ago...... I have since moved to Oklahoma and am getting married, A Jims formal wear retailer in Oklahoma agreed to order tuxedos for my groomsmen if they could get thier measurements where ever is convenient. (Groomsmen are scattered all over the place and not at the location of the Jims Formal wear.) Most of my groomsmen had no issues and got measured FOR FREE at their tux rental places, then sent me a professional form with the measurements written on it. My bother law and his son on the other hand went to "Brides and Beyond" in Cleburne and were charged $20 dollars each for their measurements (MEASUREMENTS ARE FREE EVERYWHERE ELSE!) which were scribbled on a note card so sloppy I could hardly read it. And the inseam measurement was not taken... When their dissatisfaction was show they refused to refund the money for the measurements at first. TWO DAYS LATER, after receiving multiple calls from various upset family members they finally agreed to refund the money. My brother in law and nephew went to 1 of 3 tux shops in Burleson (Very close to Cleburne) and were measured accurately for free. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO TO BURLESON OR ANYWHERE ELSE! Aside from the the terrible results ive had in these 3 experiences, my friends have said they are never open during posted business hours. 1 star rating is too high for this establishment. read more

They were not open when their sign and website said they would be open. Even walked around and went to eat to see if they would be late. Called 4 times. Even had 3 others come by and say "Well guess they didn't want to sell what 4 dresses today??" It's ridiculous, you don't have scheduled times if you aren't going to bother showing up anywhere near those times. I'm really disappointed because I had planned to try on wedding dresses but there went that idea. I have gone by several times and they were not open when they said they were. A lady in the antique mall next to them said to come an hour after usual opening hours, and I did. They were there. A young man, the owner's son was the one that was helping me with my dress. It was quite uncomfortable to be fitted by a young man. He tried his best to please us, but truly, a female knowledgeable with bridal dresses is who a bride needs to guide her. She does not want to change and undress in front of a young man. Come on. My daughter was getting very flustered. My husband was quite upset. I would not recommend this overcrowded outdated understaffed store to anyone. It has the appearance of a 1985 thrift store. The dresses are so crowded and there is not real "special place" to try on a gown. We wanted to support a small business. We found one in the metroplex. Oh my. what a difference. What a wonderful change.The other store was elegant, the lady was kind and knowledgeable , and no "mama's boy" trying to help my daughter.
