Let me start with a little background about myself. I'm 6'5 tall, and while females find it attractive, this comes with a variety of health issues with the back being the biggest of them. All my life I've been a chiropractic patient, more often that a regular person. Given that experience, I give Dr. Toy a solid 5 stars. This is the best chiropractor I have ever been to, period. He has given me the most attention, and addressed my issues percisely and effectively while being extremely gentle and professional. Dr. Toy made me feel like I've been going to charlatan chiropractors before him. He never pushed me to visit him more, it's quite the opposite - he does everything to make me need his services less. After reading all the wonderful comments and good reviews I thought he truly mast be the best best in town, I went for lower back pain paid 80 dollars for exam and adjustments. Totally not worth my money did not do much, wanted to do as minimum work and let you go. At the end when he said ok ur done I was shocked because I felt I didn't even get good adjustment and by the of the day my back was still hurting didn't help me much because he didn't do a good job. I couldn't get out of bed on Saturday and Sunday was only marginally better. I went to my regular doctor about my severe back pain and they could not see me. I needed relief 2 days ago not tomorrow. I found Dr. Toy on yelp and headed that way. I got there at 1:00 and by the time I was able to get myself and child out of the car it was 1:11 and they were closed for lunch. I just about cried because they did not open back up until 3. I could not wait that long, so I hobbled back to my car with baby and stroller in tow and as I opened my trunk to begin the pain olympics Dr. Toy popped his head out of the office and asked if I needed help or if I had an appointment. I said no but he could see I was in bad shape. He told me to come in and he treated me fantastic! After some much needed adjusting and some ice I felt so much better. I was able to stand up straight and walk with much less pain. I was and am very grateful for his help. He did not have to take me in on his lunch break. I will be coming back in a few days to keep my healing going. After two weeks of having severe neck and shoulder pain I decided on seeing a chiropractor. I found Dr. Toy on Yelp as well. After my first visit, by the next day I was literally feeling a hundred percent better. He initially thought that it would take about a month, coming in twice a week to feel 100% better, especially since I had not been to a chiropractor in over 10 years. I went back in for my second visit and he couldn't believe the difference in the feeling of my muscles and said just to come back as needed. 3 days ago I could barely turn my neck, today I have no pain. I've been to about 6 Chiro's in my life and being Therapist styled physical Trainer, I can easily say the Dr. Toy does an incredible job. He performs thorough movement assessments so he can take what symptoms I describe, combine it with what my body is doing and give me *completely what I needed. I've had lower back problems since I was a teenager. I would go to a doctor, get some muscle relaxers - they would give me some stretches/exercises to do, then I was sent on my way. But, now that I've gotten into weight lifting, (and I'm old).. I need to keep this back pain under control! To give a little background on my chiropractic care in the pass... I've been seeing a chiropractor since I was 12 years old for a gymnastics injury. I have had one good chiropractor before Dr. Toy. I moved to Menifee and could no longer drive to Carlsbad to see my chiropractor so I found one in Menifee. The chiropractor I was seeing in Menifee was awful. I would leave in more pain then I went in. I would tell the chiropractor specific things and he would do the same exact adjustment on me every single time. I started noticing he was also doing the same adjustment on all of his patients. I was so tired of all my back and neck pain, that had me debilitated for about 4 months, I finally took my sisters advice and went to see Dr. Toy in Temecula. I went into Dr. Toy's office and everyone was very friendly. Especially Ashley who sets most of the therapy up for patients. I saw Dr. Toy and told him about all of my problems and about my last Chiropractor who led me to see him. Well, long of the short of it is, my last chiropractor did more damage then good. Dr. Toy did an exam and was able to help me on the first visit! I swear I thought I was dreaming. To not hurt constantly is worth all the money I pay. I have insurance but it is not accepted there but I don't care because Dr. Toy is worth every dime. By my 3rd visit, I was feeling back to my normal self and back to working out every day. He really listens to his patients when they are having trouble with certain areas and he does all these different adjustments based on what you are telling him. He listens to your feedback and if something didn't sit well from your previous visit, he will change it until your body responds positively. He is the best in my book! I started seeing Dr. Toy for lower back pain, and a leg length discrepancy. Then my husband and I were in a motorcycle accident, and most recently I am seeing him for a knee injury. I was told about this place by a friend, highly recommended. Dr Toy is the best chiropractor I have ever seen, and I have been to a lot over the years. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and is very gentle. The staff is friendly as well. My only complaint is the accounting department, they are inept. They told me on my first visit that my insurance deductible was $200, and a $20 copay. They then told me that if I paid $40 a visit, and $75 for the first visit, that once I got up to $200 they would turn that in as my deductible. I had gotten to the total of $275 paid without my copay being reduced to $20, and received a bill for $44.25 in the mail. I called to ask about the bill and they told me that my payments were only estimated, and that was the new total they had come up with. I asked them to cancel my next appointment, and she said " sure, no problem, bye". 1 week later I received a bill from them showing that I now owed $53.91, and I haven't even been back in there. I am afraid that if I pay them the $53.91, I may get an adjusted bill 6 months later showing I owe $225. I'm not sure if the accounting department is actually that inept, or if they are just trying to cheat my insurance company and myself out of as much money as they can. I am sorry to say that I will never go back there again, despite the fact that Dr. Toy is the best. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the accounting department. read more

I have had chronic foot pain almost my entire adulthood, it was starting to go into plantar faciatis and I had been seen by several chiropractors in the past. I work agility dogs for a living so there is no option to not be able to use my feet. I also road and mountain bike weekly and am an all around active person. Dr. Toy has helped me immensely in just four weeks. I will continue to see him weekly until I am on a maintenance schedule, but for now I feel like a new person and am looking forward to some serious improvement in my dog handling skills! I am so glad I went to Dr. Toy for my chiropractic adjustment. I've been having lower back pain and sciatic nerve pain for quite some time. I've tried to manage the pain by going through other medical options available to me but it only seemed to have temporary relief. I love practicing yoga, but having a slight curve in my lower back didn't help me very much, I just ended up aggravating my lower back pain with some of the poses. So I've decided to see Dr. Toy and he is doing an amazing job, within just 3 weeks since meeting him I've noticed some improvements, like no more sciatic pain, being able to sleep through the night and waking up in the morning with no pain, I can now sit and stand longer and I can practice the poses that used to hurt my back. read more
