Trying to think where to start with my review. Well first off I was in an an Auto accident and I could hardly turn my neck my chest has bruised ribs from the seat belt. I kinda resemble the hunchback of Notre Dame because my left shoulder is higher than my right and I feel like one big sore all over. I was referred to this practice by a coworker way before I was in the accident because her mom thought so much of this chiropractic office and we were just talking about it one day. However, this is the best medical treatment that I have ever had. I have only visited the office once for my initial appointment and I already feel better. Dr. P is the best chiropractor I have seen in 20 years. She took the time to take in-depth notes while she asked about my history of pain, what types of adjustments worked for me and then did a full hands on assessment before my adjustment. She isn't just a left-right crack chiropractor. I actually had to search her because she is trained in treating only the individual vertebrae that needs adjusting. In one visit, Dr. P alleviated my pain from about a 7 to a 2. And Miss Mary, the receptionist, is so much more than that. She made sure my paperwork was in order and was delightful and friendly while I waited for Dr. P. Once a room was available, she brought me back, shut off the lights and even got me an ice pack until Dr. P came to see me. She even let me know that she would put my personal ice pack in the freezer so it would be cold for my drive home. Where do I even begin... from the moment you walk into the office you feel "at home." Every single person who works in this practice genuinely cares about you and your well being. Dr. Padilla is a wizard! I was suffering from a pinched nerve for a month. Chiropractor isn't covered under my insurance so the ER just prescribed me a shot of Toradol, steroids, and Norco. Pretty much just a bandaid. When that ran out, I was popping 800mg ibuprofen like it was candy. Another bandaid. Couple weeks ago the excruciating pain flared up again and I had enough of the torment. Called out sick and looked up Yelp and called Dr. Padilla to see if she'd squeeze me in since I was home and close to her office anyway. The office manager, Mary, made it happen for me. I showed up and Mary greeted me with sunshine and rainbows. She ushered me into a room and let me rest on a bed with a heating pad while I waited. When Dr. P came in and listened to my story, I felt like I was talking to a friend. She is so sweet and very compassionate. She had me lay facedown and gingerly felt around my back. Then she pointed at two spots, "You hurt right here and right here." Mind. Blown. Seriously. Spot. On. Turns out I have a double crush syndrome. Two pinched nerves converging. One in the spine and the other in the trapezius area. Ouch. Brought on by long term stress. Figured. So she proceeded to do her magic. The cracks are so addicting. Seriously like crack. She warned me not to get addicted because even if you don't hear the cracks doesn't mean the adjustments aren't working. She also prescribed supplements and herbal remedies to treat the inflammation and for joint support. I haven't used ibuprofen since. Thank goodness she accommodates my crazy schedule. She's a life saver. She also offers after-hours appointments and in-home visits. I look forward to my appointments. I feel so much better when I walk out. My pinched nerve isn't completely healed but I am feeling so much better since I started seeing her. She's amazing. Totally recommend her. Just don't take my weekend appointments away from me. Pregnant Mothers Must Read! I cannot begin to explain what a game changer seeing Dr. Padilla-Casto is during my pregnancy. I was in a car accident at 24 weeks which rendered me unable to walk without being in severe pain. I had other physicians tell me that I would just have deal with the pain until my baby was delivered. Ok, so I have a regular chiro that I go to near my home that is awesome, so going somewhere other than him is like cheating. However, after traveling a bit and with a crazy work schedule I just had not been able to get an appointment with my guy. While on a mini getaway I just couldn't take it anymore. I got a really bad kink in my neck and all the wine tasting wasn't making it any better. I called Dr. Padilla, and although I was very last minute, she agreed to see me after hours (who was the only one willing) and do an adjustment. I was afraid that because I wasn't from the area, she would do a one adjustment fits all, like I've gotten from "the joint". However, to my surprise she was Aaaahhhhmazing!!! Forget that I had already made her stay late, but she took her time with me and adjusted me in places I hadn't been adjusted before. I felt great!! I started working with her more than 10 years ago and just recently started back up with treatments and am now kicking myself for stopping the treatments years ago. Lately I've been experiencing lots of sciatic pain and just after 2 visits I feel a lot of relief already. My husband and I both are patients of Dr. Padilla. My tailbone pain started during pregnancy and after, which later lead to some back pain. I knew I needed a chiropractor and luckily we found Dr.Padilla. We feel amazing after every visit! She is very thorough during the appointments. I get a full adjustment at each visit. Our first time there she used a chiropractor thermal scan which she uses to scan your spine and it lets her know where there is inflammation/problem area. The machine immediately picked up on my problem areas. She also conducts x-rays at her office so that she can see if there are any areas in the neck or spine that need to be adjusted that we may not even know of. She has also recommended exercises and stretches that will strengthen my back/posture. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes her time with us. We can tell she genuinely cares to provide the best service with each patient. Dr.Padilla and her assistant Mary, both are very attentive, friendly and welcoming.
