I've been going to Dr. Turek for almost two years. His office was able to fix my neck that a different chiropractor at another office screwed up. I was in very bad shape, my sleep was bad, and even using my arm was limited. It didn't get fixed overnight, but with determination, he was able to make me write. I write this review as I am recovering from shoulder surgery and I'm almost at the one month mark. With his laser therapy, me icing and using DMSO, I was off of pain meds basically two days later. I just had my first massage therapy session with Richard and it could not have gone better. We was aware of the repair, and he was able to loosen it up, work on the scar tissue, and overall work out other knots. I believe I'm equivalent to the 2 month mark in recovery, but only at the 1 month mark due to his office, me passively stretching, and taking it easy. I can't wait for the next few visits in my quest to gaining full use of my shoulder. Dr T office seems like they care about their patients and they have multiple ways and techniques to address ailments. I highly recommend this office and giving them a shot. read more

Terrible experience! I purchased a Groupon that included an exam, two adjustments, and a massage, but when I arrived, Dr. Turk insisted that I had to pay extra for an X-ray before receiving the adjustment and massage. This was never mentioned in the Groupon deal, and it felt like a scam! The young lady at the front desk was kind and apologized, but the doctor acting more like salespeople pressuring you to spend more money. If not Dr. Turk was totally change especially weird attitude and refuse service Groupon. I do NOT recommend this place! If you don't want hidden fees and unprofessional treatment, stay away! About the police officer , While all I wanted was an apology, I took the initiative to call the police. The front desk lady did call, and the police were very friendly, expressing regret for what I went through. They explained that the doctor's behavior was disrespectful, but as a business, since I didn't pay extra for services they wanted, they have the right to refuse the services I had already purchased. The doctor, as the business owner, has the right to refuse service. Yes, it's true that he wanted to earn extra money. I understood the police's explanation, and they also mentioned they couldn't force the doctor to apologize. The police suggested I pursue other methods, and I am very grateful for their help. Through this experience, I just want to warn others to be careful and avoid falling for scams. I believe the way this business handled the situation was unprofessional. If you don't want to encounter hidden fees and disrespectful treatment, it's best to stay away from this place. Additionally, many people have already left comments on Groupon (with a rating of 4.3), saying they were lured in only to pay extra money. You can check it for yourself. I must respond to Tracyhong X's Yelp on Mar 10, 2025, because I witnessed what happened that day. I am unsure if Tracyhong X started the day on the wrong side of the bed because she came into the office already mad at the world. NO ONE deserves that kind of behavior. I would have thrown her out of the office; however, Dr. Turek handled the situation very professionally. It was unnecessary to have the police come, but the crazy woman escalated the situation and made a big scene. As a patient of Dr. Turek's for over 5 years, Dr. Turek and his staff are amazing and care for each patient. He takes the time to evaluate and treat each patient's needs individually. I had a deep tissue massage with Dean. He was excellent got all my tight muscles to loosen up and blood flowing better. I had lots of knots on my traps/scaps that he pretty much worked it out and released a lot of tension. I love the rubber cupping and the warm headrest he used which I've never had a MT used on me before. I felt all my stress and tension were melting away. I'd have to say it was one of the best massages I had in a very long time. He definitely gets a 5 star rating from me and would go back to get more massages from him soon. I needed a massage therapy treatment and I was recommended here by my medical care provider. Dr. Turek assigned me to Richard and his knowledge and treatment to my neck and low back was great. I found a coupon for this office on Groupon, I just wanted a simple massage but they offered an adjustment to come with it as well. It wasn't a simple process because I had to come in for consultation first and that's when I met with Dr. Turek.. he was a bit too forward and touchy.. at one point he grabbed my face while I was talking without any forewarning or as to letting me know why he was doing so. I felt uncomfortable during the adjustment as he was grabbing my waist and keeping his hands on me for an unnecessary amount of time. I never returned for my adjustment because of how uncomfortable I was in his presence. I spent $47 towards half a payment for X-rays they recommended I get but I never went back to collect them. My first negative review on Yelp but we'll deserved. Unbelievably deceptive. I called at 9am to make appointment for same day. I was given appointment for 230pm. I get text message one hour before with new details never stated before or written on Groupon fine print. Check it for yourself. They have a groupon for $31 but up charge $75 in person for X-ray. If you refuse they refuse your business. SMH, why the dishonesty. They then urge me NOT to use the Groupon and pay in person. Why? So they can add on the $75. Which is crazy and illegal. Frustrating that we STILL have businesses attempting to PUSH extra services AFTER the appointment is made simply because you are using a Groupon. Just don't advertise on Groupon or is that the point? Bait and switch. It's 2023, you will get publicly called out for your shady tactics. No matter how you dress up your office and post fake pictures online. All this for $75? read more

Located in a very nice newer building with ample parking right in the second floor to the right. They are very on top of the flow of patients coming and going a large treatment office with a waiting area that is in constant movement which is a great thing to see. I receive a therapeutic massage and was blown away by his level of knowledge. Mastery of the area of the body that hold injury trauma and he even prescribed teas herbs and exercises to do daily to help my tight muscles. Dr Turek is thorough with examination leveraging xrays diagrams and interactive tools that really helped connected cognitively why my symptoms corresponded to the region that was experiencing tightness pain and spasms in my lower back. I didn't even know I had an old fracture in a vertebrae from an old wound and an extra vertebrae until he revealed it! Have yet to receive treatment assessment/approach at next session. I started seeing Dr. Turek in 2012 and was going to him until I moved to Utah in 2018. Dr. Turek change my life! He is very knowledgeable and is a great person. I started going to him with a lot of lower back and neck pain and bad posture. Within 6 months all of the pain was gone and kept at bay with regular visits and monthly massages. He was very flexible with payments as I did not have insurance at one point. I also had my now husband and mother go to him all with the same success! There was a previous post by Jeff J. which I think is bogus. It is a doctors job to make you healthier, whether they are a chiro or MD. Oh my gosh! Wellness center is the most accurate description of this practice. From Dr. Turek, front office, massage therapist, everyone I have had contact with, their only goal is to make you WELL! I have several medical issues needing treatment not otherwise provided with a standard doctor/specialist visit. I am being treated as a whole person here, not just the one issue per specialist. My first and only experience with a chiropractor was when I was a pre-teen. I was too cool to wear my overall straps and book bag on both shoulders. While the overall straps were simply an unfortunate fashion choice, the book bag, on the other hand, was the wrong choice for my health. Years of carrying a bag full of heavy books caused my shoulders to take on the appearance of a ski slope. I received no explanation about what was about to transpire. Fortunately, the session ended my shoulders realigned. Unfortunately, I was terrorized, thinking that a strange man had just tried to break my neck. Perhaps I would have sought treatment earlier if I had not carried that phobia for so long. By the time I walked into Dr. Turek's office, my neck and back issues had significantly decreased my overall quality of life. I have been receiving treatment at Dr. Turek's office three times a week for the past two months. I cannot express how thankful I am for his care. My body can now move in directions that had been incredibly painful before. I can get down on the floor and pet my dog, which is a fantastic gift in and of itself. Beyond the adjustments (which are amazing on their own), Dr. Turek has what I call the "Magic Beam." It's laser treatment, but the results are phenomenal. After being unable to lift or rotate my arm for an entire year due to a medical injury, I had full use of my arm again after the first laser treatment. I also receive the Magic Beam on my abdomen, which has tremendously reduced pain and swelling. I detest taking medication, so this has been an absolute godsend. Dr. Turek has a fantastic office team; everyone is kind and welcoming. Dr. Tony works alongside him, providing treatment. They have developed a symbiotic working relationship, moving fluidly between patients. Clients arrive and are welcomed like old friends; there are always interesting conversations and lots of laughter. I have never experienced a medical provider office like this, and it's truly a gem. This part is for my female counterparts. Many of you know how difficult it is to get a physician to take you seriously when expressing your symptoms or health concerns. It can be maddening and put your health in grave danger. Dr. Turek is not like that. He sat me down and asked lots of questions. Dr. Turek asked me to tell him everything about my health issues and does the same with other female patients. To hear a male doctor say, "I want you to keep talking to me and explain what is going on, so I can develop a treatment plan that can help you," is incredibly validating. I have also spoken many times with Dr. Tony, and he shares the same philosophy. I do not know if these men realize how awesome they are. I have been going to see Dr. Turek for over a year now and am so glad that I was referred to his office. I first came to him for a very painful, stiff neck and shoulders. Dr. Turek performed a very thorough exam and physical questionnaire with me my first visit, and also did an x-ray. He then explained my X-rays to me and devised a plan of care to help alleviate my issues. Since I have been seeing him my neck and shoulder issues have greatly improved and I have not suffered the overwhelming pain, and stiffness that I had when I first came to see him.
