The General Tso's chicken was really good and I appreciated that they were able to make it with no spice, making it perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The shrimp chow mein was flavorful and loaded with shrimp, and the fried chicken wings came out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Honestly this place is probably a 3 star spot, but I'm giving it 4 to balance out the previous review by Pua. "Horrible listening skills" then they repeated it back to you word for word? Ummm... ok. Sucks they messed something up on your order but things happen, and certainly wasn't a listening issue. The lady who takes your order is very thorough with her listening and does indeed repeat it carefully back to you. English isn't her first language but she definitely is not careless, and cares about getting the order correct. We got the house chow fun, sweet and sour pork, fried wontons, Mongolian beef extra spicy and Kung pao chicken. Being our first time here we wanted to get a wide variety of items to test out their range. Overall we were satisfied with our lunch. Neatly presented, generous quantity of food, everything seemed fresh, nothing off putting (too oily, soggy vegetables, too much MSG) If we're going to nitpick, they did pack the sweet and sour pork tossed in the sauce, not served on the side, so it's less crispy once you get home. But it was still good. Many places do it the latter way. In general, the quality of the proteins was like a 3, nothing exceptional. The beef is like a 2, heavily tenderized beyond anything that seems real lol. But the sauces and flavors are a 4, and that's what carries these dishes and ultimately makes them satisfying and tasty. I think, for a local place in Henderson, if you don't feel like driving to Chinatown for something more authentic, it will certainly do in a pinch and satisfy your craving. read more

The first time trying this spot and WOW... they did NOT disappoint. The Mongolian beef, house fried rice, and hot & sour soup were straight up AMAZING. Everything was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The second time I went, I ordered the shrimp egg foo young--and it was terrible. Instead of the usual, they served an egg patty that tasted like frozen hash browns, with the veggies and shrimp mixed into the gravy and poured over the top. I've never seen egg foo young done like that before. That said, the Mongolian beef, house fried rice, and hot and sour soup were all delicious, so I'll definitely be back. I really love this place and I'm going to tell you why. I had been looking for a really good inexpensive Chinese food place. Now I know that there are many here in the Las Vegas Valley, but not so many around my house. I first saw dragon bite when I was in the shopping center. Going to check out a Hawaiian barbecue place a few doors down when I saw this brightly decorated Chinese place and said I'm going to have to try that. A full disclosure; this is the fifth time I've been here. I thought I had written a Yelp review about it but I had not. Inside. The restaurant has very good seating. It's neat and clean as a pen, and the staff is very friendly. I'm a huge fan of the crispy beef but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I have not had an item yet that I would not order again! You really need to go check this place out, especially if you've got a hankering for some good Chinese food. Bottom line? Horrible listening skills. If you're making a TO-GO order, CHECK to make sure you have everything before you leave. After I ordered, the lady REPEATED my order back to me word for word. Proceeds to ring me up. Order is ready, I check and it's missing the Mongolian Beef which she repeated to me. The lady who works is so sweet and provides excellent service. She makes sure that you're enjoying your meal and checks up regularly. They menu is pretty big and the prices are very reasonable. Finally found another Chinese takeout that rivals good old NY Chinese Restaurant! Not quite as good as NYCR but the quality is there and the distinct variety will have me coming back. Can't wait to work my way through their Honey Walnut Shrimp, General Tso's Chicken, Dragon Bite Chicken, and Pepper Steak. Like many other Chinese restaurant menus in the area, theirs includes Family Dinner options complete with appetizers, fried/steamed rice, soup, and choice of 2 entrees; however, the customizability is limited. Really wish they allowed more options to upgrade to premium entrees and wonton soup for both Dinners A and B. And maybe threw in some free almond cookies for good measure! Finally a nice Chinese restaurant on the east side of town. Dragon Bite is a nice place to visit for dine in or take out. Inside is very clean and nicer than other Chinese restaurants in China town. Food is good for a family friendly restaurant where you can feed four adults for less than $50. Take out orders are prepared to order and are very large servings. A serving will easily feed 3-4 adults. It's not gourmet food but almost everything on menu is between $16-$19. Been there twice and quality is consistently good. Check it out for yourself. read more

First time yesterday and we know we'll frequent from then on. I, also, ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, which is supposed to be a house specialty. The breading was way too thick which made the shrimp dry. The food was mediocre at best. Many Chinese dishes use baking soda to tenderize the meat I think it sat with the baking soda too long. At least the flavor was good. Mapo Tofu was good but I wish it was more savory and spicier. Salt and pepper Pork Chop was excellent. House Special Fried was good. The Black pepper beef was good but the sauce was a bit weak for me. The beef was good and it did not have a too much of coating from the velveting like we had on our first visit. Tried Dragon Bite for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to have it again. Their Dragon Bite chicken, I can't even explain how good it was. It's like little strips of very crispy and spicy orange chicken without the orange flavor. Everyone else raved about the other dishes but I couldn't stop eating it and the shrimp fried rice (which is that darker East coast-style fried rice, IYKYK). This is our new favorite place. All of their dinner entrees run about $13 and come with fried rice, your choice of protein, soup, eggroll and a cream cheese rangoon. Its a great value and the food was delicious. We ordered the General Tso chicken and beef and broccoli. Both meals were fresh and and the portions were generous. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made some solid recommendations. In need of some dinner, and still on the look out for our "go to" Chinese take out, the hubby and I opted to try out Dragon Bite. There was definitely a big hit, but there were also a few misses. 3 stars: Hot and Sour Soup: It was okay, not the worst I've ever had, but definitely not my favorite. I kind of wished it would have had a bit more of the sour notes I associate with this soup, I think it would have really elevated that flavor, otherwise for me it was just little bland (but not salt bland). 1 star: Ma Po Tofu: This was the worst of everything we got. There was more sauce than tofu, and the sauce was really runny (and way too sweet). 3 stars: Crispy Beef: I liked this, not sure if the hubby did. I liked that the beef was not hammered and I thought flavor was good. 5 stars: Singapore Noodles: Never had them before, this will not be the last though! The curry sauce was very flavorful, but it was not overpowering as some curries can be. The shrimp were cooked very well (not rubbery), as was the pork.
