I've ordered food here about 4 or 5 times now, and every time I walk away thinking "Not worth the money." To be honest, I order it for my girlfriend who loves this place. Yes, the food does taste good. Yes, their DBZ menu puns are clever. Yes, they have a cool vibe in the restaurant (small place). What gets me are their food portions. For starters, the amount of noodles they give you is...ok. Not great, but ok. I'm alright with this if other things, let's say the protein, is of a good portion. Nope. I've ordered brisket here a couple of times and opted out of the "extra meat" option as I usually do not feel the need to do this at other places. I had, at best, broken brisket chunks. For anyone that has ever seen a full pan of sliced brisket, imagine when it is all gobbled up and you have those residual little pieces (perhaps chunks?) of brisket that fell off of the slices at the bottom of the pan - that's exactly what I mean. The next couple of times I ordered extra meat ($4) , I either got a little more of those broken up pieces or...if I was lucky...I got a couple RAZOR THIN pieces of brisket. In my opinion, this place is overpriced and playing off of the DBZ/anime crowd. It's good to see a restaurant like this in the Conroe area, but dang, let's increase the portion size just a little to justify the prices you want your customers to pay. read more

At Dragon Bowl C noodle bar -- We tried the Dragon C Bowl restaurant this evening (take out). And put simply, it was disappointing. There were several add on items missing from our order (which adds up) and the pot stickers were dry. We did enjoy the fried tempura though! We assumed the ramen/noodles would come in a broth but we're disappointed when they were just lightly sauced noodles. We spent a total of $66. Wouldn't recommend. **We did receive a refund from door dash for the missing add ons. -- eating dinner. read more

Like most new places in Conroe, we waited a little while before trying out DBC, and we have been back more times than I can count at this point. This is one of our few go-tos in town, and it's great. Unique egg rolls and amazing noodle bowls. I keep thinking I'll try something and wish I hadn't, but this creative menu keeps us coming back for more. Why did we wait so long?!? So that's the food - already better than 99% of the area and raising the bar. But then there is the service (please don't stop reading). This is a small space that fortunately figured out to help all the patrons get some extra indoor seating, but it's a counter service restaurant trying to offer a little extra. And the service is amazing! Like to the the point that it's totally unexpected for a counter service food joint. They are amazing with recommendations, ideas, and a "what else do you need" mentality. This establishment is truly supporting downtown Conroe and making it better. Go eat there and wonder why you waited so long! read more

Came highly recommended from one of our neighbors and got takeout tonight. The fruit teas are delicious, a little expensive for six dollars a pop, but worth it for the flavor. We ordered two different types of Ramen, and they gave options for the broth, the level of spice, and even offered to do a fried egg for me instead of boiled. They have dessert, egg rolls, and lots of different eggrolls for appetizers. The service was incredibly friendly on the phone and at pick up. read more

Cute little spot for noodles. My husband loves dragon ball z so we drove about an hour to check it out. Would I drive back for them? No. But if I were in the area and it was a nice enough day I'd stop by and eat outside. There's a little bar table with a few stools. I would not eat inside. It's so cramped in the actual restaurant you can't eat there, only order. You eat next door at the bar. Which is disgusting. All the furniture is old and stained and dusty and just gross. I felt so gross being in there. We drove all that way for the dragon ball z theme (let's face it, there's noodle spots everywhere) and we only got to experience it while we ordered our food. While we ate we were in a very dirty and smelly bar. The noodles were good. Not to die for but they did fill us up so that's a plus. read more

I stopped off for Lunch after searching for Pho. It's a nice little noodle bar with a campy feel. Plenty of dragonball action figures and cartoons on the TV. I ordered the themed dragon ball pho. Classic pho with plenty of fresh veggies. My only downside was a lack of tables for in-house dining. They cater mostly to take-out crowd. read more

Came from out of town to visit this Dragon Ball themed ramen shop and it was definitely worth it. Lots of cool memorabilia all around, you can tell the owner is a true fan. Overpriced, mediocre food, cool concept but meals were disapointing overall, would not recommend to fans of japanese style udon/ramen. We ordered the Ankor Wat Pho and SayianStyle Kimchi Ramen. They mixed up our preferences for hotness. Pho was really confusing taste, almost vinegary. Dumplings were undercooked, obviously store bought from frozen. Really wanted this to be better. Heard about this place from a friend of my partners'. Never felt so welcomed to a restaurant before. The manager is a total boss lady, she had all the answers to any questions my partner and I had.
