For a traditional Chinese restaurant that does not do the buffet. The service was lacking though there was enough wait staff. A couple actually sat down but due to the lack of service, they left. When my food showed up, it was average but the price tag set the expectations to be higher. Need more work to get my business back at this place. read more

I like this place! I go once or twice a week. I haven't had a bad experience yet. The lunches are a bargain & the regular menu offers large portions. I always have leftover's for days. The management does boarder on downright rude. Considering how often I am there, I could at least get an occasional "hello". The prices are on the higher side (except for the lunches). I think $2.50 is a bit much for a single eggroll or spring roll. Also considering they do not seem to be made there but more akin to the frozen variety which are widely available. The waitstaff is friendly & remember my previous orders. I do enjoy when the service is personalized. I recommend Dragon. Katana Asian Fusion in Slippery Rock is superior but you can't find better Asian food in Butler! read more

We stopped here for dinner tonight. The food wasn't horrible, but I can get the same quality at a Chinese buffet for half the price. For the price of the dish, I'd expect it to be better. It was disappointing. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. read more

The first time my husband and I came the food was great but it was about a week after opening. Since then we have found that we like the apps and the sushi etc but the regular entrees seem to be not so great. Portions are good but the flavoring is just weird. read more

It's not a bad place for Chinese considering the best one burnt down. The layout of the restaurant is really really awkward considering it is a renovated Garfield's. Overall food eight out of 10. The sushi rolls were pretty spot on. Portion size makes up for the pretty heavy prices. read more

As an avid sushi lover living in Butler, I am a bit bummed out that Dragon is the only really go to place for sushi in town. However due to that reason I've become very familiar with them. I've ordered take out as well as spent time in eating many of times, and honestly I would have to say I prefer the take out over dining in. For only being a few years old, the restaurant still seems to be having some spots at aren't entirely finished yet. Service can also be very slow when dining in vs eating out. My family and I generally always order a decent amount of sushi, only to find ourselves waiting around a hour minimum. We've compared the same order to take out which only would take maybe 25-30 min max. Both days we did this were slow days keep in mind, where it was only my hubby and I, and maybe a another table of 2. Their other dishes are decent but nothing over the top special when it compares to their prices. I could get the same half decent Chinese entree down the street for 20% less. It's definitely not cheap eating there, and they have a reputation of being pricey, which is confusing being there is very little competition when it comes to Asian cuisine in the butler area. I wish they had some more variety and would re-list back in doordash, but sadly for now I will most likely only be ordering take out occasionally. Be careful with bigger orders (anything with more than 10 items honestly) as things can get mixed up and forgotten more often then not. I am still a very loyal customer to Dragon and have spent lots of money there (kinda embarrassing honestly haha ) but it does make me sad to see such high prices and slow service. Butler's most upscale Chinese/Asian restaurant in appearance, but the food and service doesn't quite measure up to the atmosphere. While they do a good job at plating the sushi, the Chinese food is often over-cooked and under-flavored. The wait staff, for the most part seem a bit inexperienced. They really need to improve things to justify the dinner prices unless they don't mind seeing their customers flocking across town to the buffet which offers a much better value for your buck. read more

The food here is pretty good. The servers are really great!! Their menu has so many option to choose from. Chinese and Japanese food. Kids portions are good sized! Adult portion are great! I always take food home with me. If you like octopus they have it. Even baby octopus. The waitress gave us one to try without charging us. Really a nice place to eat. I wasn't impressed by the food, but I wasn't turned off by it either. The sushi that was supposed to be raw had been deep fried, which defeated the whole purpose of ordering raw sushi. The chicken lo mein wasn't bad, but judging from the success of and other Asian cuisine restaurants in the area, this places days are numbered. The staff was very nice and extremely bored. I went there for a date on a Friday night, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Lastly, which will probably be the final nail in the coffin, when I asked what kinds of beer they sold, the waiter replied "BYOB, no liquor license," instead I got a warm iced tea. If Garfield's couldn't do it with a liquor license and great food, I can't see Dragon doing it for half the time with no drinks and food that is so-so. Plus the mall was a ghost town for a Friday night. Kinda sad that heroin has sucked this town dry. read more

I give this place a two star rating because we ordered there 2 hours ago and still nothing.. we called them and they said they left 10-15 minutes ago.. and we called them 20 minutes ago and still nothing.. We live 9 minutes away from where they are.. BUT their food is definitely good! EDIT: So the food is finally here. But we are missing a couple things.. This is ridiculous. We had to chase down the mans delivery car and he just got out and said, "Sorry, That's all I have for you." got back in his car saying NOTHING ELSE to us and drove away.. honestly i'm not sure what to say about this situation.. In my years of living I have never had such terrible service.. (oh and my chicken wasn't fully cooked in my chicken broccoli AND gave me the wrong rice so.. yeah) read more

Do not use the duck sauce this restaurant leaves on the tables in a small jar with a flip able lid. It's very unsanitary. There should be individual packets. Or closed containers. read more

Everything was good but the service was terrible. Me and my cousin went there and we went to order drinks and there was none on the menu... we ordered stuff for each of us and then the server came out with 2 full size platters for like a family... We didnt take any of it home because by the time we were done it was all cold and mush... it is also very filling because I'm a big dude and i only ate like 6 of the like 59 pieces of Orange chicken... We ordered takeout from this restaurant. For the price that we paid for the food, I would have expected it to be a little better. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't worth what we paid. I'm sure dining in is a little bit different, though. I probably won't be back. read more
