I honestly have no idea what the people in the reviews are getting or what other places they have tried. This is easily THE WORST chinese place i have ever had. I read the reviews and they seemed promising but they weren't. I can not say it enough. The food was terrible. I got pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli, boneless spare ribs and 2 pork egg rolls, which are pretty standard items from a chinese place. I was turned onto this place by a coworker. Food is always excellent. Best ribs anywhere I've ever eaten so one night I ordered ribs went there picked it up. They forgot to put it in my bag. The food is always delicious and hot and the owners and staff are so so nice - this is def my favorite chinese restaurant! have been going here for over 12 years and have never had an issue. Amazing service and even better food. We often have so many changes due to dietary issues and they accommodate every change and still manage to keep the food tasty. Even delivery staff is nice and accommodating. Drove back quickly after inadvertently forgetting a small item in our order once. Sad they are closed on Mondays now but has become a staple in our home now at least once a month. read more

Put in order for 3 items (House Special Fried Rice, Kung Po Chicken, Szechuwan Pork). Took about 20 minutes to make them. Brought them back to the hotel to eat. 1. Portions - they are large. 1 order is enough for 1 adult. 2. Kung Po Chicken isn't the same as Kung Pao chicken. It didn't taste bad, just different. Expect it when you receive the food. 3. Szechuwan Pork we ordered spicy. It wasn't spicy enough. Perhaps make it extra spicy? I would go back. The only decent Chinese food place we found while staying at a near by hotel. read more

Dragon serves the best Chinese food I've ever had. Lived on Long Island my whole life and this place is a hidden gem. Considering how kitchens can be , it's extremely clean and all food is fresh. This was the strangest experience I had in Long Island, mostly because it was so surprisingly positive. This little place really does dishes how you want, and their lunch menu is huge and inexpensive. Seriously, the menu is massive, but the food I got was authentic. I asked for a vegetarian dish, and they said I could get a tofu stir fry with veggies. Any veggies I wanted. Anything they had. Crazy. I opted for mushrooms, string beans, and onions, I think. Serving was large, garlic sauce was lovely, and overall, the round tin of tofu, veggies, and rice was delicious and filling. *** This is not fast food. It took a while to get my meal because it was cooked to order. And not just because it was not on menu- everyone else's took a while too. Made to order- 10 or 15min. Parking was easy, and there wasn't really a line, even during lunchtime on a weekday. Service- wonderful. The girl just kind of threw in a drink since I thought it came with one. It's a decent chinese take out spot in a strip mall. PROS: Dumplings and egg rolls were the best part. CONS: The chicken was really rubbery. Perhaps it was overcooked. Shrimp in the lo mein were really tiny, but the flavor was good. OVERALL: above average Chinese take out. read more

It is really unfortunate that the food being so good that the service is so bad. The owners are disrespectful and rush you through your order making it a confusing process that ends up with orders being incorrect. The costumer is never right and in this most recent instance they charged me extra and yelled in my face saying "you just have no idea don't you?" Regarding the menu.
